I have purchased appliances from Blonders many times. I recently purchased a refrigerator. Mark H was very good to deal with. The delivery guys are the best. They were very careful in my home. I can't say enough good about them. A few years ago I need an appliance. I was ill in the hospital. My niece purchased it from another business. When they delivered it they broke my storm door. They didn't tell me. I called the store. They paid to have it repaired but it wasn't very easy getting them to reimburse me. read more

it's a family owned business so they have every reason to give the best customer service, which they do. I have been dealing with them for at least 25 years. I am again in the market for an appliance and will be going there, no where else. I had 2 rental properties and they helped getting appliances for that situation through the years. My last purchase was about 5 years ago and they still offered free delivery and free removal of old appliance, hoping they still do! store should not sell window air conditioners that do not fit the window size. Their installer will try everything to make oversized ac fit the window. Also, the store should advise clients of installation costs up front. Is the installation rate by job or by time? Don't just say $150. read more

Bought basic dryer. Told salesman Dave that dryer at home was hardwired. He mentioned buying something for installation but said to wait until installation. Never said there would be an extra $200 charge for this. Husband called Blonders while technicians were at our house. Mark at Blonders said my husband "insinuated" that Mark was a liar and told technicians to leave with dryer we purchased. No dryer installed. Ordered dryer online from Home Depot. Husband completed electrical outlet install. Saved over $100 with Home Depot. Happy Mark at Blonders canceled order. We saved a bundle. Karma! Don't try to cheat your customer. I recently purchased a washer dryer stackable combo from Blonders. Being a younger homeowner, my first reaction was to go to one of the big box stores. My father told me to try out Blonders first as they have been a staple in the area for appliance sales for many years. I am happy to say that I took my father's advice. Blonders not only had a better price than Lowe's on the same unit, but they also came in and hooked up my new washer and dryer and hauled away the old unit free of charge. Everyone was extremely friendly and pleasant, from the salesman at the store to the two gentleman that delivered my new unit. When I called a few days later because I had a few questions the person who answered the phone was very kind and helpful. The service I received from Blonders was frankly, excellent. You won't find this type of customer service or prices at any big box store. At this point just based on my experience with them, I'll never go anywhere else should I need any new appliances in the future! read more

We called the store and they said they had the cooktop we wanted in the warehouse. They had 4 of them. Amazing! We zipped out to their location that day and purchased it. Paid in full for installation and the 5 year plan. They said that before it would be installed they needed to measure to make sure it would fit. A week later they came to measure. We got a call that same day with the good and bad news. Good news, it would fit! Yea! Bad news, they no longer had it in the warehouse! What!! You're kidding!! We had already paid for it when there were 4 in the warehouse. You mean to tell me they sold it out from under us!! Horrible! Who does business like that??? I would never purchase anything from Blonder's again but if you do, be aware they you paying for your appliance doesn't mean you are going to get your appliance. read more

We've been loyal customers of Blonder's for years and have bought multiple appliances there. We always appreciated them for being friendly, helpful and reasonably priced, and we like to support local businesses rather than patronize the big chains whenever possible. But we recently had an encounter that went well beyond "unpleasant.'' We had issues with a dishwasher that we bought in 2019, and we spent $137 on a repairman who told us it wasn't properly installed to begin with. When we called Blonder's to ask if they could come take a look at it (we didn't ask for a free visit), the owner immediately became defensive and was incredibly belligerent and condescending. I would have gladly paid $99 for a service visit if he had been willing to engage or listen even a little bit. But he was far more interested in "mansplaining'' and putting me in my place. We'll go to Gebhard's now for our appliance needs, and I would advise others to do the same. read more

After many days of shopping, we recently (November 2018), a new Whirlpool refridgerator, range and dishwasher from Blonder's. We chose Blonder's for the price and because we'd been told by friends that their customer service was way above and beyond. Their delivery crew was excellent, too. After several weeks we discovered a factory defect - a couple of tiny cracks at the edge of the new glass cook-top. We notified Blonder's and we were immediately scheduled for service and replacement of the top. We are very happy with our purchases and feel safe knowing that Blonder's stands behind the products they sell. We are also very happy that we chose a family-owned business rather than a big box store. We will recommend Blonder's to family and friends. read more

Washer broke on the March 16th, went to (blunders) Blonders bought SpeedQueen had to wait until 3/23 to have it delivered. It has not worked since. Had to wait a week for Fast Appliance for warranty work appointment. he ordered a new balance switch, nice it came the next day. Called to have them come out to repair, and an appointment was available in a week. We were out of town and scheduled for 4/12. On the morning of 4/12 I got a call saying the tech was out sick, they'll come out on 4/15. So, A new SpeedQueen washer from blunders is almost a month old and doesn't work. Does that seem fair? Wanted to order a special window unit air conditioner that wasn't available at any retail location they were more than happy to order it and were very straightforward about the time we take for it to arrive. Although their prices were slightly higher than if I ordered it over the Internet the ability to support a local brick-and-mortar business and the security of knowing that I can return it to a physical location was well worth the few extra dollars. Last their show room seem to have a lovely selection of products although I wasn't really paying much attention. read more

They were on time, very careful navigating the oven into our house, setting up the oven and answered all our questions thoroughly. A couple of nice guys with a strong work ethic. I had a GE dryer delivered April 2022 and in December 2022 it began to make a loud chirping noise. I called Blonder's and they advised it would need to go through GE. I called GE and my first service call was in December. Fast forward to March 2023 and the dryer is still not fixed after 3 service calls from GE technicians. This is because the tech didn't fix the problem the first time and on his 3rd call said oh I never looked at the drum and it needs to be replaced. Long story short after a horrible experience with GE I reached out to Blonder's to see what they will do for me on a dryer they delivered 8 months ago and now having issues. The only thing they say is call GE we won't do anything unless GE says to. Mark H who supposedly is one of the managers is a robot and will do nothing more than repeat call GE. As a manger you would think the person would take some ownership of a product they just sold someone 8 months prior. Nope he can only repeat call GE. After purchasing a refrigerator, washer and dryer and my family also purchasing 2 refrigerators, 3 stoves and 2 dishwashers in the last yr, because I recommended Blonder's i wish I never would have recommended them after this experience. If I wanted horrible service I would have gone to best buy or Home Depot or purchase my appliances. DO NOT EXPECT A THING FROM BLONDER's once you receive you appliance. After shopping 2 other local family owned stores, I went to Blonder's. It was worth the drive from Upper Makefield. I was buying 4 appliances; refrigerator, oven, microwave, and dishwasher. Blonder's beat the price by $500! A few days later, Mark Blonder called me to tell me that if I wanted the top-of-the-line dishwasher model, another rebate just made it available at no additional cost. With the rebates, we got the dishwasher free! The sales staff is knowledgeable and the delivery team was professional and courteous. I highly recommend! read more

I'm so unhappy with my new SpeedQueen washing machine, which was a recommendation from Blonder's. I personally never heard of Speed Queen before. Should have stuck with Kenmore. The owner of Blonders apparently is very happy with his SpeedQueen and couldn't understand how someone could possibly be complaining about it. The owner was very condescending. We just purchased a glass-top, slide in range from Blonder's, and I area to think what would have happened if we had bought it anywhere else. Our kitchen configuration has the range in the corner. We thought we'd just slide the old one out and the new one in. We looked at Sears and Home Depot and no one even raised questions about depth or any other issue. Because it's in a corner, the cabinet drawers open across the front of the range, so there's not much room for error. Blonder's asked us a lot of questions and even bought the floor model of the range we wanted out for a test fit. Depth-wise it fit fine, but there was an issue with our granite countertop and the two thermo[plastic caps on the front end. They didn't allow the range to go all the way back. The guys at Blonder's modified the front so it fit perfectly, and you'd never know it was altered in any way. They came when they said they would come, did what they said they would do. I don't know whether I could have got this a few dollars cheaper at Sears or Home Depot, but from my past experience, the aggravation is not remotely worth it. have dealt with this store for about 16 years, bought a bunch of wall mounted a/c units here back then, one by one they have worn out & blonder's always knew what we bought, when we bought them & most importantly they knew how big / small they were so when replacement time came they had a unit that would sneak right back where the old one was, just bought a new bedroom unit, granted it wasn't the cheapest one out there but what blonder's sells is quality units and not just price point junk ( i.e Wal-Mart-Ollie's etc . ) so we can rest assured of years of trouble free performance, can you ask for more than that ? read more

The sales person Mark H. was very knowledgeable, and gave me a price on a model that was below what I saw out there both on the web and in stores. I returned and purchased a counter-depth refrigerator. I normally don't care about how good the delivery guys are because they are just dropping off a box right? Their (free) delivery guys measured my door openings, then unpacked the fridge in the driveway removed the door handles and carefully brought it in the house. I couldn't believe the amount of packing junk inside the refrigerator they removed.They cleaned up the debris (that would have token two trash days to pick up and were professional. My only regret that I should have been checking them for prices for years, I buy for my home and some rentals, my previous scratch and dent place hasn't been beating anyone's prices for a few years! It is a must stop is you need appliances, actually thanked me to allow them to QUOTE a price. That's nice. read more
