Tech Came to take a look. Took everything apart and found out what needed to be replaced. I think the heading coil was broken. And I After the part was replaced, everything was working for about 2 weeks then the buttons for the dryer stopped responding. I called to make another appointment for them to have it looked. They said they are booked abs busy, and will call me in a few days to set up another appointment. I never got the call back and the tech forgot who I was. We are so thankful we found Hamed online! We recently moved into a new home and ordered all new appliances. Upon arrival our fridge could not be installed for reasons that are too long for this review. We were able to get the issue fixed the next day but at that point we needed someone to move it from our garage and install it. We (thankfully!) found Hamed online and gave him a call. He answered immediately and responded promptly via text message anytime we needed to get in touch with him after that. My experience with ELK Appliance Repair was great from start to finish. The estimate price was fair and I appreciated Hamed's honesty. Repairs to a washer can be costly, so having a repair person who also sells appliances was helpful. Larger companies in the business of selling and delivering appliances have limitations and they charge additional fees for everything, not to mention delays in delivery schedule. Our washer was making a bunch of noise during the spin cycle, so I knew something wasn't right. I sent a note via Yelp to him and he got back right away. He came out a few days later, and he was very thorough with telling me what was going on and was very honest. He said he could fix it, but honestly wasn't worth the time, energy, and money to fix it. It would be approx $550 to fix all that needed to be fixed, and because it's a 13 year old washer, he said it's worth it to spend a little more and just replace it. After finding that a ton of places had great 4th of July sales, it was an easy sell. He also gave some great advice on helping on the care for our next one. A small $10 tool from Amazon will help ensure our washer doesn't develop mold and mildew by keeping the door open to let it air out. He was incredibly insightful and very helpful. He is a nice man, smart and flexible to handle problems! He has strong problem solving skills in tackling with modifications. My new cooktop does not fit to be installed on top the wall oven due to the gas pressure regulator. Hamed suggested some minor modification to keep the cost low but really work.
