Texas omelet with fruit and hash browns, chicken and waffle
    Natalie G.

Great service, comforting food, okay price! We went at 11am on a Monday and ordered a coffee, Texas Omelette, and Chicken & Waffles. The price was about $35. The food was pretty good! It tasted homemade and was very comforting. The service was also really great and the atmosphere was clean and welcoming.

We stopped by while visiting our kids at college. We got here towards the end of a morning rush but got our name on the list. Had about a ten minute wait, and we were seated. Shea was our sever and was amazing. We were given the speials and had our order taken. Really good ticket times for a busy time. The food was great, and all of the servers that passed our table were attentive and kept the coffee hot. There was a big crowd but it was not too loud there, a nice overall environment to enjoy a meal. We will absolutely come here again!

Stopped in for breakfast as I had some time to kill before an appointment and was pleasantly surprised. Ordered the regular breakfast - two eggs, sausage, toast, home fries. The eggs were perfectly cooked (over-medium is hard to get right but they did!). You're given a choice of hash browns or home fries which is nice - the hash browns were delicious. The sausage was not teeny links - nice big ones and very good. And the wheat toast was nice and thick and also delicious. The coffee was tasty and plentiful and the service was excellent. I'd come back for sure!

This place is busy! I think we were in the middle of the after-church rush on a Sunday, but we were seated within 10 minutes. The menu had quite a few choices, but we both decided on a pretty traditional breakfast of eggs, chicken sausage, home fries & coffee. Food was pretty good, but nothing over-the-top. I took off 2 stars for service because our waitress was so busy, she never had the chance to come by to top off our coffee. Also we waited for about 20 minutes for our check, but she did not bring it by. We ended up just walking up to the front to check out.

Enjoyed the visit, food was delicious and seating was comfortable. Staff seemed to be spread pretty thin but were pleasant enough.

Service was acceptable, but lacking in level of personality or engagement. For me, these characteristics are memorable and would help inspire me to come back. The food was as described on the menu, but equally lacking in pizazz. My Mexican Bowl was lukewarm and my friends' burgers were both well-done, despite only one of them asking for it being this way, and the fries were overcooked. I like crispy, but not to the over-the-top degree to which they were done. Bottom line: Eat here if you are hungry and your needs will be met, but this place could use a lift in sparkle and quality.

During my last visit it was relatively quiet, so I took a seat and went through the menu. My server was very friendly and professional. I took her recommendations and got the churro crepes and peppermint latte. Latte came out quick, same with the crepe. The latte was very sweet, lots of sugar and mint. Coffee flavor was obliterated, and was a bit much for me. Informed my server, offered a drip coffee as a replacement but I opted against. The crepe was going to be a lot of sugar too, so just sent it back. She communicated with her team to watch the syrup pours for future drinks, which is a good proactive move. The churro crepes. Conceptually is a good idea. The cheesecake filling was tasty and a reprieve from the avalanche of caramel syrup and sugar. The churros were warmed up but the server was very honest that they were not made on the spot. Outside of the churro was crunchy and inside was stuffed. The crepe was not warm, so I don't think it was made fresh to order either. When I asked the server, she insisted it was made to order. The price was 21 for the latte and crepe. The price of the crepe was high for the quantity and quality. The latte was reasonable for price, but might want to ask to go light on the syrup. Given the location, it's one of the few breakfast spots around that area. It's not bad, but they do price accordingly for the lack of competition. It's not a trek place, but it's one of the few options around without driving 15 minutes. If you need breakfast in that area, then it works.

In it's place is the wonderful gem: The Hoppy Days Diner. Not only is the food great but the atmosphere was fun and awesome. All the servers were colorful shirts saying the Pot Diner with a picture of a coffee pot. The food was simply amazing and you better come with a super big appetite because the serving sizes are ginormous! I order the Spicy omelet which is 3 large eggs STUFFED with chicken, chorizo, cheeses, jalapeno and it was awesome. Did I mention it was large?? They have a large selection of toast to choose from. My friend ordered their largest platter called Big Willie. The consisted if hash browns, toast, kielbasa (his choice) 3 eggs and a pancake that came out in a very plate by itself. We are big eaters and neither one of us could finish our meals. Our server was Allison who was super attentive and very friendly. The only negative comment is that the bathroom needs some serious attention. Did I mention that the food portions were BIG!!

Yes it's inside of a car dealership, no you won't be asked to buy a car or even approached. It's a separate venue within the dealership. Typical breakfast in the area for two people running 40 plus dollars, at Thunderbird you'll walk out for under 30 be full cover and be satisfied that you had a delicious breakfast too. Yes the plates are paper the forks and knives are plastic, but that doesn't change how the food tastes. The staff is friendly and accommodating to most requests. Best breakfast in 20 miles, most affordable that I have found in CT.

We were able to get a breakfast sandwich. Although I want some pancakes and something else I couldn't really complain as they were willing to still do breakfast. I ended up getting a bacon egg and cheese on a rule and it was so soft. This is probably the cheapest iced coffee that I've had recently for $1.25 for a cup. I also got a muffin I would like to try lunch here, so I might possibly come back, however is a little far out of the way for us
