Did not even know they changed the name. Strawberry-Mango Crème Sando - Beautiful presentation but the bread is too sweet. Good thing the cream is not sweet. Jumbo Mango Mochi - The mango was not fully rip, not too sweet, a little sour. The mochi is thin. Mango Jasmine Milk Tea - The jasmine is nothing compared to Molly Tea but it does have deep flavor of jasmine after few sips. Strong flavor of mango. 50% still sweet to me, if I order again, probably do 25%.

I came in with one purpose since I just had another drink elsewhere it was to try my friends recommendation of their wintermelon green tea since it's not common in other shops. Even with no sugar it had a sweet taste but it's really good and naturally sweet. Ordered on the tablet and drink came out in about 3 minutes.

Bubble tea is like 3.5/5 but service is a solid 2. Lady was rude to my friend who needed the bathroom... was late in the day, no one was in the shop, said we had to be a customer. What's wrong with compassion?? In the past for too good to go they've turned me away for being 10 mins early.... Mind you their entire pickup window is very short. Kind of crazy. Not worth it.

Yi Fang did a boba pop-up at our office and it was the perfect afternoon treat! I got the green milk tea with boba--perfectly creamy and not overly sweet. Super fresh and made right on-site, I'll be sure to visit their newbury street location!

Yi Fang Fruit Tea (medium size $7). It was excellent!

One of the best fruit bubble teas I've had in a very long time! This Taiwanese tea store is bright, modern, and has a comfortable atmosphere. Indoor seating is offered along with a restroom (no outdoor patio or dog friendly seating). A refreshingly different bubble tea menu is offered, which makes you think more mindfully about your drink. Yi Fang boasts to make bubble tea the real way: without milk powder, syrup, or fructose, but with loads of delicious, real fruit. If you want a cookies n cream smoothie, prefer popping boba, or expect seasonal drinks to mean things like pumpkin spice latte or eggnog slushie, look elsewhere. But if you want simple, traditional drinks made with attention to detail, then this is the place for you.  I ordered the Yi Fang Fruit Tea ($7), which was a phenomenally-made beverage bursting with fresh and enticing fruit flavors. The sweetness was just enough, and this drink really hit the spot on a hot Summer's day. The staff is friendly and helpful too. Visit this place, and you will undoubtedly have added a new go-to spot on your list.

First time here, came out to almost $19 for two drinks, but boba on newbury so go figure haha. Quiet night, had another group ahead of us, ordered via kiosk and the drinks were made promptly. It's really cute in there, has Yi Fang merch, cups, tees etc for sale. menu on wall, two mini table seating. The lady got these from ubereats another day at work and it was great, this time it wasn't as good, a bit more watery less creamy but overall flavor was good!

We visited Yi Fang after dinner tonight & our experience offering in person was smooth! They have self ordering kiosks available, which you can pay via tap. We ordered two large mango pomelo sago drinks ($18.05). A little bit pricey but milk tea is quite expensive nowadays so, it's all good. I recently tried Yi Fang via Ubereats and had a good experience & today it tasted slightly different, a bit more icy.

Walked in and ordered on kiosks. Tried the mango pomelo and taro milk tea. Their teas are really not sweet, so I probably could've had higher sweetness level (I did 30%). I liked that the taro drink had real taro in it though, and the boba itself was high quality!

Yi Fang is a great place to get a refreshing drink on Newbury Street. This tea shop is located close to the Boston Public Library and the Copley Green Line T Station. It's super easy to find and has space in the back for seating small groups. Inside, there's 2 places to order. There's a kiosk as well as an option to order with the barista. The full menu is located in an inconvenient location and the shop is set-up so when it gets crowded, it's a little uncomfortable to wait for your boba or tea to get ready. However, the Peach Fruit Tea I ordered hit the spot and had fresh peach chunks which elevated the flavor. I'd definitely go back for pick-up to try something else on the menu.

Having had my first Yi Fang experience in Taipei, I had high hopes when it came to Boston. I might be biased, but of all the tea shops in the city, Yi Fang ranks the highest when it comes to fruit tea. Every drink I've ordered from here is refreshing and never too sweet. The space is bright and has a modern, yet comfortable vibe. I've been on a crowded winter day when the store felt too warm and stuffy, but today when I came on a random Friday around noon, it was completely empty. There's a little more seating down the hall, as well as a bathroom. Their drinks are a little expensive, but always enjoyable. Today I tried the Peach Black Tea with green tea jelly and 50% sugar. I also really enjoy their egg waffles as an extra little treat. I usually try to avoid coming to Newbury, but getting tea from Yi Fang makes it all worth it.

By far one of my favorite boba shops in Boston! My go to is the taro milk tea -- they use real taro here instead of the artificial powdered stuff and it makes all the difference in the world. Prices are a bit high but quality of ingredients justifies the cost. Shop is always very clean and the drinks come out relatively quickly!

I've been to Yi Fang Taiwan Fruit Tea multiple times in New York, so when I saw Yi Fang Taiwan Fruit Tea on Newbury St, I was extremely excited. Yi Fang Taiwan Fruit Tea uses 100% Authentic Taiwan Tea, seasonal fresh fruits, and naturally-braised cane sugar. The drinks are always delicious and refreshing. I usually get their fruit teas like the mango passion fruit tea. At this location, there are two kiosks to order from. Drinks are available in medium and large. I got their Brown Sugar Matcha Latte with pearls. The order was ready in about 5 minutes. I prefer their fruit tea over their milk tea, but it was still very good. The pearls are great. There are a few countertop seats by the window and tables throughout the store. Yi Fang Taiwan Fruit Tea drinks are a little pricier, but the quality is definitely worth it.

The service is awful. The reception boy was cold to customers, and didn't remind customers to choose ice or hot, and when customers pointed it out and tried to change iced to hot, he was super impatient and pissed off. And I told them the sugar level, but what I got finally is a zero sugar milk tea. Very bad and frustrating experience, will never be back again.

We walked into a space that mixes communal tables, stadium-style seating, and smaller spots to sit, making it a place where you can stop in for a quick drink or stay longer with a laptop. The interior design is one of the biggest highlights, giving the cafe a more elevated experience compared to a typical coffee shop. The tiered seating in particular creates a visual dynamic that makes the room feel more intentional than your standard coffee counter. The drinks are the main focus here, especially the matcha, hojicha, and espresso-based options. We ordered the hojicha latte, which was one of the strongest items on the menu, with a deep roasted flavor and a smooth texture. The matcha has a more traditional earthy profile and leans less sweet, which works well if you prefer a more authentic matcha taste. The drinks are on the expensive side, but the quality of the ingredients and preparation make it feel more like a specialty cafe experience rather than a standard coffee stop. The food and dessert options add another reason to visit, with items like the egg sandwich, quiche, macarons, and hojicha desserts available depending on the day. The menu is smaller compared to a full brunch cafe, but it pairs well with the drinks and gives the visit more of a cafe-and-pastry feel. Service is friendly and the staff are knowledgeable about the drinks, which helps when choosing between the different Japanese tea options. The cafe can get busy, and seating is limited compared to the number of people who come through, but the layout gives it a unique character. Ogawa Coffee works well for specialty coffee and tea lovers looking for a more intentional cafe experience in Boston, especially if you enjoy Japanese-style drinks and a thoughtfully designed space.

Honest thoughts: The cakes were indeed beautifully crafted, but $13 was overpriced. The cake quality didn't meet the steep price. The cafe was self-service and some furnitures were quite worn out. From their ig, I saw the price tag was ~$9 last year. It was aggressive to raise $4 within a year.....It would be more reasonable to charge at or under $10. *Autumn Leaf $13 * This seasonal special was my favorite. Spiced sponge and pecan crunch were wrapped inside the subtly sweet maple mousse, with a hint of banana flavor coming through midway. The spiced cake tasted like fall. *Geometric Apple $13 The geometric apple is their bestseller but I found the flavors didn't match well with one another. The outer layer was cheesecake mousse, while the center was filled with apple compote, caramel, and chocolate cake. The cake was quite sweet, and the sourness from apple put me off. The chocolate crunch inside was too hard to eat.

We walked into a minimalist and calm space with enough personality to make it comfortable for a longer stay, the kind of room where the lighting and the seating encourage you to settle in rather than rush out. The dalgona coffee is one of the standout orders and delivered the creamy, slightly bitter contrast that makes the format work when it is done well. We had it with oat milk, which smoothed out the richness without losing the depth of the coffee underneath. The matcha was another high point, aromatic and grassy in a way that reflects quality sourcing, and notably not overly sweet. The hojicha with hojicha foam was on rotation during our visit, layered and smooth in a way that made it an easy recommendation for anyone who leans toward roasted, nutty flavors. Prices across the menu are genuinely affordable for the quality. The loose leaf teas can be rebrewed multiple times, which added real value to the experience as we settled in for a while. Service was warm and unhurried, with staff who clearly know the drink menu well and are happy to talk through the options without any pressure. For a handcrafted drink in a space that feels like it was built for people who actually care about what they are drinking, The Sipping Room earns a spot on the short list. We would come back for the dalgona coffee and a quiet afternoon with a rebrewed pot of tea.

The space is a gorgeous venue right near the BPL courtyard. After the tea, we went and took photos in the courtyard, which was quite fun! Our servers were very prompt and helpful. There's a wide range of tea options, including matcha and chai. I don't know if they always allow this, but our servers let us switch teas throughout the service so we could try multiple. We took advantage of this and got to try two pots of tea each. The tower was also delightful, with scones, a selection of finger sandwiches, and an array of sweets. We went to our tea at 10am, so we actually were stuffed and had to take several of our desserts to go. At $72 per person, I feel that this is a pretty good price for a very nice tea, especially with the loveliness of the venue and the excellent service. While I do wish they had nicer dishware and teapots to complement the high tea experience, that would be a minor aesthetic improvement. Our server was friendly and buoyant and we had a great time.
