Piña Colada smoothie w/ boba & vanilla sprinkle donut

Went to Good Donuts today to satisfy my boba & donuts craving and I feel like I really want to like this place more than I actually do. The boba in the smoothie was nice and tasted fresh. The donut was okay but I feel like it was missing something. I have been here once before and I did not like my donut or boba drink at ALL and decided to give this place another shot. It's definitely better this time around. I want to try them one last time to make my final decision. The staff and service are decent. The inside looks outdated. I feel like it could be better.

Croissant . Huge and flaky. Makes my heart happy.

Great customer service. You are greeted right as you come in. Very welcoming. I wish I would have came here sooner. Decided to try a new place for croissants. I was not disappointed one bit . Huge and flaky. Loved it . This is my second time back. Will definitely visit again.

Got the cookies and cream shake with black boba pearls yesterday!! It was amazing!! All of her boba drinks are delicious. This flavor might be my favorite though. I'm thinking about trying another flavor of hers but I might be craving cookies and cream again. Also tried her vanilla sprinkles doughnut, and omg it was the best ever!! It's so big and had the right amount of sweetness! I also tried one of her massive croissants, and it was the best croissant I've ever had! If you haven't tried this place yet, I definitely recommend it!! Keep in mind, she closes at 4pm and runs out of doughnuts on some days!

This place is so good for a treat or morning breakfast. I'm from SF and have been coming to AZ for the past 5 years every summer and each time I make sure to get these tasty donuts

Good Donuts 20924 N John Wayne Pkwy Ste D-3, Maricopa AZ 85139 August 7, 2022 Sunday - 6 AM for a breakfast treat 1 Adult (picking up for two) Atmosphere - 4 stars Food - 5 stars Service - 5 stars Background - I was requested to pick some donuts up. I decide on the local shop. Atmosphere - Located right off the main road in town. Located new the "DMV" and in the same strip as Bashas. Tiny shop with a great display case. The smell of fresh donuts was amazing. Still have the COVID shielding by the register, which I am fine with. It did not hinder me from paying and picking up my donuts. Food - Two large cases of donuts and other pastries. I picked up 3 donuts, and croissant. The croissant was huge, buttery, and flaky, everything you want in one. The star today was their apple fritter. My mouth is watering just thinking about it. Next time I might be just buying those. Service - When I walked in a lady was bringing out a fresh tray of donuts from the back. She did a little work behind the counter while I looked at all the choices. I know most of my standard donuts, but some labels would be nice. After I selected my four, she bag them up and rang me. Easy peasy. Future - Love going to the local shop, and that they have fresh donuts. YUM.

Everyone got something different, so for my part, I tried the caprese bruschetta and their Sunday Sauce pasta. I paired my meal with their Ginger mule mockcktail. The bruschetta was soooo good. The bread was incredibly flavorful and the feta, tomato, and balsamic married perfectly. The bread was also the perfect texture - not too crunchy, not too soft. Fresh cheese and cherry tomatoes provided the most delicious topping! My pasta was also really good. Their meat sauce was so savory and delicious, and the noodles (flat, wide - I forget the name!) were cooked to perfection. I'm glad I also got a side of toast - it was a slight upcharge ($1.50) but worth it for the quality. My Ginger mule was kind of meh, unfortunately. I think I was expecting it to be sweeter, and it was pretty bitter. The service was beyond outstanding. Our server was attentive, answered questions, and made sure our water glasses were never empty. Huge props to him. After our meal, the owner even came over and checked in. Very nice guy. They even gave my boyfriend a slice of cheesecake for his birthday for free. The noise level wasn't awful, either, and that was very appreciated as a Deafie. I was able to see everyone at the table (we were in a rounded booth) and the ambient noise wasn't distracting at all. Awesome experience, better food, phenomenal service.

Where do I start! Disappointment is an understatement! We definitely were not welcomed! No…read moreexaggeration included! For starters, the seat yourself arrangement is the most uncomfortable arrangement in the city. You stand at the front door with other hungry patrons literally hovering over already occupied tables trying not to stare while patiently waiting for them to finish. This is unavoidable since there's nothing else to look at while waiting. Uncomfortable for those eating and those waiting. Lol, The hungry will always win the staring contest. Gives off the vibes of being rushed or rushing those seated. Get a number system or incorporate some other form of notifying waiting guest that can comfortably wait "outside" considering the minimal amount of space. Once a table came available we begin seating our kids when the grumpy busboy says " I usually don't let people sit while I'm wiping the table". Which we completely understood and apologized but felt the need to quickly make our way to an open table before the other surrounding groups did since theres no way to tell who arrived first. Granted, we watched him clean the table once but decided to make a second pass. Not too big of a deal but there's more. Once seated with drinks we watched the group(s) behind us finally get seated and thats when the hospitality true feeling of our presence began to show. After finishing a cup of coffee we watched the family ahead of us get there plates, start smacking on the country fried steak, licking the gravey running down the side of their arms and an abundance of refills of coffee for every table except ours. We are now 45 min in watching this atrocity take place next to us while our stomachs touch our backs. At this point we're debating on paying for the drinks and leaving. From the time we received our drinks, the family ahead of us were not only served but finished eating and now chatting it up. We're pretty patient people and understand that eating out during peak hours will take time, but with that being said, taking time doesn't mean that the group in front of you can be fed and finish along with the groups 10 min behind you placing order, getting refilled coffee AND receiving their plates before our second cup of coffee let alone a plate or apology for the delay is cool. Nope, 1 hr + in and we just kept getting ignored. Made eye contact with the gentleman taking orders with the mobile register and the heavy set waitress skipping out on the coffee refills and both quickly looked away. It wasn't until the grumpy busboy saw us and asked if we needed anything. At that point I thought he was being sarcastic but he actually slightly redeemed himself by taking care of the 2nd cup of coffee. We took two sips and decided enough was enough. I made my way to the register to let the busboy (hate calling him that but I didn't get a name) know that we will just pay for our drinks and exit stage left. He apologized and told me not to worry about the drinks and we left. In short (sarcasm here) Thank you Headquarters for providing a teachable moment for my kids and shout out to Deny's for unknowingly recovering this fumble. SMH! I'll just continue to keep passing by this place without hesitation. Never thought I'd say this about any establishment because we all have bad days but I would give a zero if I could. Unfortunate for sure because it smelled really good, it was the service that stunk!

The only reason they get three stars is because our server took the food that wasn't eaten off of the tab without being asked. We walked in and sat ourselves, as the sign said to do, and there was one person working - bartending and taking orders. She saw us sit and came over quickly, but it took a really long time to get our drinks, once ordered. Not her fault, she was alone. Still not ideal though. When my mimosa arrived, it was warm and I ended up asking for a glass of ice to cool it down. I ordered the biscuits and gravy and asked for my side of hashbrowns to be extra crispy (spoiler alert, they were not). When my food arrived, everything on the plate was lukewarm and underdone. The gravy was too cool and congealed and inedible, the hashbrowns were limp and barely browned, the eggs were rubber. When the server checked on us, I asked for my food to be reheated and when it came back, only the biscuit had been slightly warmed. Everything else came back colder than when I sent it back. The server was nice about everything and comped my meal because I didn't eat it - pictured is what I received after it came back from the kitchen the second time. I just wasn't impressed. The drink was warm, the food was cold. Nothing was the right temperature. Severely understaffed. Good on the server we had for being so nice about everything, but I doubt I'll be back.

Margret was amazing very friendly and said she would get a server to check it out . Sulinda was our server . She gave me so much attitude about using our food credits . I assured her how I would pay the difference and what not. She gave me sas on how I didn't believe her and wanted me to look at the computer . And I was trying so hard to keep calm and tell her how if there was an issue to just call like the lady told me . She denied to call , denied to help me . So I kept walking back and forth untill it was finally there . I was frustrated but being very calm because I know how stressful these situations can be . But no matter how calm and nice I was being I just kept receiving attitude from her . Margret wanted to get me a different server which was very appreciated . But sulinda just butted in and would not let the other server take my order . I am still very confused on why . After she gave me my receipt she very rudely and loudly pointed at the tip line and said "you can put something here or not " like we all know how a receipt works and after all that attitude I didn't think she deserved a tip , but I still left one . I am very happy with Margret and the sever who tried to help but extremely unhappy with sulinda and her attitude. Working in a industry like this you can't just be acting this way . It's unprofessional and just very wrong . I do not recommend this place . I would personally never go back if that's the way they are going to let servers treat people . I am grateful for Margret and her kindness and the other server who I didn't catch her name . But sulinda definitely ruined my experience.
