I always get my nails done by Su and my toes done by Michelle. I absolutely love them both. Anything I bring to Su she does amazingly. They just remodeled the shop and it looks amazing. The new massage chairs go for about 45 minutes before you have to turn them back on. I have also had my nails done by Quinn and she is great too! First time here to get a pedi. I was greeted immediately by a friendly guy at the front desk who despite me being a walk-in was able to accommodate me for a pedicure with the short weight. It was busy for a late Sunday afternoon which is a good sign in fact I saw a friend there who was clearly enjoying her pedicure and leg massage in her chair. Lots of colors to choose from and different types of pedicures and manicures are on the menu. I opted for the Simply Pedicure which is $32 includes Light massage, exfoliation, manual callus remover and polish. My tech was Tom and communication with him was very easy which I appreciated. He checked on the temperature of the water on the temperature of the hot towel and made sure I was comfortable. I really appreciate that it didn't hurt and he didn't make me bleed when clipping my cuticles which has happened at other salons. He especially did a nice job because my right great toenail had fallen off from tennis and has grown back slightly deformed yet he was still able to paint it so it looks semi-normal! I will return and bring my younger daughter to try the brow waxing which is only $12 as we are looking for a new brow place as well. read more

Honestly the best nail salon in Mission Viejo and I've been to a few. The place is very clean and the aesthetics are nice which is great :)) The staff is very professional and timely-- whether it's a walk in or by appointment they will get you in fast. Despite how many people they have come in daily, I've never had issues booking! Most importantly, every nail tech here is very talented and kind, I've never left with a bad manicure or pedicure. I would suggest June, Jimmy, and Su if you like nail art or designs, all three of them are amazing and super friendly/welcoming! I went to get a pedicure and manicure the day before Mother's Day, they seemed busy but they were able to take me in right away! Service was good and everything was really nice however, I asked for GelX and just asked for a French tip but a few of my nails are crooked and the French tip is really irregular for all my nails ): very disappointing honestly. I had to leave after they were done and I didn't have time for them to get it redone so I just left, I still have them a tip and everything. read more

Overall liked the experiences I had here - my nails were usually what I asked for and reasonably well done. My finished product was generally good. I also had some gel pedicures here, and those were good as well. However, if you care about the health of your natural nails, please do not see jimmy. Jimmy filed my natural nails so thin that I had onycholysis (nail separation from nail bed) due to trauma from my nails being filed so thin. He also would drill very heavily on my natural nails, despite my verbalized concerns and the fact that he caused me pain almost every appointment. The worst part was he seemed annoyed every time I would pull back in pain, where most nail techs are at least apologetic. I had a conversation with the owner about this, and I was told he "had to" drill that much. I've now moved on to another tech who is very gentle and working with me to get my nails back healthy and grow out all of the rings of fire that jimmy created on my natural nails. Overall, he gave me a pretty finished product, but I am not interested in continuing with a tech who ignores my concerns and doesn't prioritize my nail health. If this is important to you, I'd look elsewhere. read more

Here, I finally felt like I got it all: talented nail techs who would do amazing jobs with the designs I asked for, good quality nails that lasted, and good employees who have made an effort to remember my name. I have been here on and off and have always gone back because they have done a great job and everyone is usually welcoming and nice... that was not the case today. Mimi helped me today. I went in for a pedicure that was supposed to take a minimum of 45 minutes, she spent exactly 20 minutes on the actual pedicure and 10 on painting my nails. It was the worst pedicure I've ever had. Her "massage" was pathetically rubbing lotion around my legs and feet. She didn't clean my cuticles well at all, the callus removal was like she wasn't even trying. She didn't clean her tools properly and I'm praying I don't end up with some nasty foot fungus because of her. To top it all off, I asked for gel and she gave me polish, not even in the color I wanted. She barely spoke two words to me. Everyone was lying around not doing anything, this place needs some serious changes or it won't be around long with the way it's going. I paid and left. Word of advice for anyone wanting to give it a chance: DO NOT GO TO MIMI if you want any sort of quality work. I'll be finding a new salon. read more
