I had a great experience getting a pedicure at Fashion Nail. Even with an upgraded service ($36) it was more affordable than the salons closer to where I live in Foothill Ranch. Lately I feel like I can't get a regular pedicure under $60! The one at Fashion Nail was super thorough and relaxing. The upgraded service included a scrub and extra massage time (always worth it) as well as something I've never had before -- cold orange slices rubbed up and down my legs! It was weird and kinda wonderful, honestly. I'm happy to make this my regular spot for pedicures from now on. read more

Worse dip nail manicure I've ever had. I asked the lady to not file down my nails, I wanted to keep my nails long but next thing I knew she had filed them down by a lot. After putting the dip and she had to file the top I noticed they were all unevenly filed, I asked her if she could fix it and she said they were my nails that are not smooth! My right hand pinky is super thick compare to the rest of my nails. After a WEEK later I see the dip chipping off from the corners, my nails haven't grown out and I already need another manicure thanks to their bad work and product they use. read more

I have been a customer for a couple years now. They relocated to a new location. I had originally found Fashion Nails at the Laguna Hills mall. I had Van work on my nails. After that, I became hooked and never left. My reasoning for this is because Van and her staff are super friendly and easy to talk to. Most importantly her nail work is great! She is very knowledgeable about nail care/polish. I've started with regular polish and now upgraded myself to DIP powder and it's soo much better! I like how long it lasts and how much easier it is to remove the polish compared to gel. Fashion nails always finds time to take me in for a mani/pedi/wax. For that, I am very grateful! When I first came here my badly bitten nails looked embarrassing and horrid. Van treated me with extreme kindness and care. She put on acrylics and I felt so pleased. By the employees behavior it looked like this isn't the first time they saw their arrogant owner get unprofessional just by the look of their reaction and body language... that can tell you more than words will ever . Like again excuse me, customers first... we make your business a business ... Anyway, finally after the powder was applied I see how thick my nails were and how they weren't even at all !!!! Now, I'm getting annoyed myself and say, " I am sorry I disagree, I have been getting my nails done for 7 years and I know my petite finger beds aren't this wide ..then she says again, " why you not tell me earlier" I just said, " it became wide cause you applied to much gel" then things got really bad ... she then says , "YOU LOOK LIKE YOU DONT WANT TO PAY LIKE WHAT ????? I have been going to this nail place for at least 8 years. I loved them so much that I waited for them to move from the mall to Muirlands an Rl Toro. Cristina is the best! She really takes her time and concentrates very hard to get the job done right. She even goes above and beyond. Plus, she's a creative nail artist! I asked her to write the Hebrew letters of the Hanukkah dreidel for the holidays. I just shows her an image of the letters from my phone and she did a perfect job! Half of the technicians were not wearing masks when I passed by a couple of days ago. None of the customers were wearing masks. If you're concerned at all about your health/COVID, consider getting your nails done elsewhere. I like the extravagant nail art. I like to see how artistic people can be. I give them an idea as to what Im looking for and allow them their own creativity afterwards. Normally I get acrylics, but with my current job, I use my hands more than not, long nails are not possible for me at this point anymore. I chose to have the acrylics removed and try out the Gel that I hear everyone rave about. The acrylics hurt to come off, which wasn't the mans fault as he nor this particular salon put them on in the first place. He showed me how they ruined my natural nail by placing too much powder on and how it was not even. That did not surprise me. He took his time with me. Filed my natural nails down to be even as much as he possibly could. I liked how he took his time and genuinely cared about the health of my natural nails. Now as for the Gel, I will only get this done from now on. But, Im not sure if its harder to do designs on gel or if he was nervous, or if he was just trying to rush because my two year old was getting restless (I dont get out often, my daughter goes everywhere with me). Dont get me wrong they are very cute, but kinda sloppy as well. Regardless I will return. The way he treated me and actually cared about the health of my nail out ways anything else. read more

I came in here for the first time a few weeks back. I got a new full set of acrylics, pink & white powder. The price was average and the ladies were some what friendly. But the main reason I went there was because they were open on Sunday. The speed and shaping of my nails was good. The store is average in cleanliness. There was a wait when I arrived but they were happy to accommodate me. My major disappointment came about 5 days after I got them done...when they started lifting! And this was after I asked her SPECIFICALLY if they would lift and she said 'no' because "the gel help protect the nail from lifting." Mind you, I paid the extra $5 for the gel because she said they wouldn't lift. I was also unhappy when the nails started to grow and since she didn't file the acrylic down to make the end flush with my nail, there was literally a bump where the nail ended and my natural nail began. Worst full set I have ever gotten. I have been getting acrylics done for 10 years, never have I sat in the chair for more than an hour. The guy who did my nails continuously chipped off the pink with the electric file, kept having to redo it. He kept saying my nail beds were too small for pink & white. Yes, I have been told that before but I have never had someone do as horrible of a job as him. 2 days after I got them done, 3 of them started lifting, every time I comb my fingers through my hair I got hair stuck in my nails. So I used bail glue I had at home to keep them on. Now, 5 days later ALL MY NAILS HAVE FALLEN OFF. I am never going back there. read more

No complaints about their customer service - they're decent - I got my pedi done by Lynn- smiley face , neat work , they meet your expectations. Now, have I experienced better pedicure before ? Yes! I prefer pedicure to be intense and super relaxing - this one was more like they clean your feet, make 'em look pretty and show you your exit. They're all quiet and friendly people - don't talk much (which I think is good, as I prefer relaxing while getting a foot massage done. Salon is upgraded and warm- restrooms are super clean and nice.
