Food was delicious! I order the tonkatsu ramen mild but it came out pretty spicy so they gave me extra broth with no spice to help . Sushi was delicious but I didn't get a picture of it unfortunately. We got the rainbow roll and a salmon roll . My friend got a chicken teriyaki bowl and she said it was good but couldn't finish it all because of the big portions. Overall everything was good !! The inside was pretty cute and relaxing . We were the first customers at 11am then more people trickled in around 12pm

I have only had sushi from here and the quality + service was excellent. Tiny hole in the wall spot that you should try in LA. I can't wait to try the ramen!!

Blosom Japanese Restaurant is such a gem in Koreatown! From the moment we walked in, Daniel (the owner/manager) made us feel so welcome with his friendly and attentive service. It had a cozy ambiance filled with fun conversations. The food is amazing... chicken karaage was perfectly seasoned, crunchy outside and juicy inside. The takoyaki was crispy yet creamy, and both the spider roll and rainbow roll were fresh, flavorful, and beautifully made. We also enjoyed a warm, comforting bowl of ramen and ended with strawberry and matcha mochi ice cream... so delicious! With their buy-one-get-one 50% off sushi roll deal, great food, and amazing service, this spot is a must-visit!

Love this restaurant! Exceptional service, quality food & overall an amazing experience!! They have all day happy hour weekdays and weekends(food and alcohol). Also they have free parking which is so rare these days. I've tried a variety of things from here and everything was delicious. Their chicken karaage, agedashi tofu and garlic edamame are the perfect appetizers to start with. From the rolls my favorites are the San Pedro roll, Hawaiian roll & baked salmon roll. SAN PEDRO ROLL: This has spicy tuna, avocado, crunchy shrimp tempura roll with eel sauce and spicy mayo. Highly recommend! HAWAIIAN ROLL: Fresh tuna on top of a spicy tuna roll with a ponzu& mustard vinaigrette topped with masago& green onion. So refreshing and not too heavy. BAKED SALMON ROLL: Baked salmon with mayo on top of a California roll with eel sauce. The salmon was cooked perfectly and the sauce was a flavor of explosion! Their zaru soba is sooo yummy as well! You definitely need to try this place!!! I saw they do UBEREATS as well, will be trying that out soon too.

One of the most convenient and consistent lunch places in ktown! Always down for a sushi and ramen combo for lunch! Their service is super quick and the prices are very affordable!

Had a Spicy Miso Ramen the other day and have to say it was just "ok." At first I thought it tasted a little bland, but to their credit as I sat for a while, the flavor seemed to settle a little, but still could've been just a bit deeper with flavor. Now the even worse part, the pork was a little tough / overcooked, and that's what really brought my rating down to 3. Surprisingly, the sushi cut rolls were better than most places serving-specializing in Raman. The spicey tuna roll was truly a little "spicy," and the Sushi cut roll, very fresh. Tried a beer from Kyoto, an Ale, Cat and that was tasty. Glad I popped in, not entirely disappointed.

Just found a very good japanese restaurant near Ktown! There is a parking lot and very easy to park. The restaurant is not very big but there is quite a good amount of seating including bar seats. The food was surprisingly good! Every dish was tasty and flavorful. We ordered: Salmon Carpaccio-was debating this or the sashimi, but I'm glad we got this! It was very fresh and had a kick of zest that I liked. Baked Salmon Roll-sweet salmon with snow crab in the middle. Very tasty no wonder it's popular! Volcano Cheese Ramen-this was my favorite, so good and so fulfilling, must try if you like spicy, cheese, and ramen! You have mozzarella or cheddar choice and hot or flaming spice level choice. We went with spicy and mozzarella. Cheese melt straight onto the noodle and absorb some of the soup so it's not that spicy and tastes even better in the end Zaru Soba-also one of my favorite and the refreshing dish. Beef Bowl-mediocre but the dish was plentiful and very filling. Had a great experience here. The servers were also very nice and helpful girls! Would recommend this place to anyone in the area.

Ramen: Everything we tried was delicious! We ordered the Tonkotsu Ramen and the Black Ramen. You can choose to add extra meat--we got one with chashu pork and one with beef, and both portions were generous. The Black Ramen had a richer, more flavorful broth with a hint of black garlic oil--classic authentic Japanese ramen vibes. Sushi Rolls: Rolls are 50% off for the second order, which is such a great deal! We tried the Signature Roll and the Hawaii Roll--the tuna was super fresh, beautifully presented, and instantly appetizing. They tasted just as good as they looked. Appetizers: We also had the Soft Shell Crab, Monkey Brain (crab meat & tuna with eel sauce and cream cheese), and an Assorted Tempura. All the fried items were crispy and flavorful--nothing disappointed. Service & Value: Dishes came out quickly, the staff was friendly, and the overall value is excellent. There's a parking lot right in front, so parking is super convenient. Price: Around $20-30 per person. Verdict: Totally worth a second visit!

Our Blosom experience was great! Once you get there you'll find they have a really small parking lot that they share with a Thai food restaurant. If the lot is full you will have to use metered parking. The restaurant itself is nice, small but pretty spacious and seats enough for its size. Blosom has great Japanese cuisine from sushi rolls to ramen which they are popular for, but today we tried their sushi. Appetizers: we had the crispy rice with shrimp, and their Kushi Yaki which is a torched scallop on skewers. The crispy rice wasn't as crispy as we thought it would be, still good, but the scallops were the best from the appetizers we picked. Sushi: We had their Super dragon roll, the signature Blosom roll, and the normandie roll. That is the order of which one we thought was the best to least best. For me personally their signature roll is fire! definitely a "must try". Our service was ok. The waiter was nice but he wasn't very helpful or knowledgeable about the menu. Overall Blosom is a must try if you're in the Koreatown area and craving sushi

It was our first experience here and the food was amazing!!! We also got ramen bowls too and it was yummy. The restaurant was small but cozy vibes. The waiter that helped us was kind and did a great job checking in with us throughout our time there.

Their ramen, salad, and shrimp tempura are so yummy! Especially their R4 black ramen!

Visited Ktown last weekend and tried out this new Japanese restaurant. It's such a cute shop with incredibly Japanese delicious dishes, cozy settings, and generous portions. I had the best Unagi Bowl in LA. It has large portion of unagi portion, and the presentation was both beautiful and tasty. Their Spicy Cheese Ramen is pretty amazing too. The server flambeed the cheese, and it was fun to watch. The Super Dragon Roll with a generous portion of Unagi on top was fantastic & very delicious. The crispy rice with spicy tuna was flavorful and crunchy. I tried banana tempura for the first time, and it was amazing! Also, I absolutely loved their freshly squeezed juice menu. We chose the green juice, and it was so tasty and healthy.

Are the Ramen noodles rice or wheat? I understand that they are egg noodles, but egg noodles still require either wheat or rice flour, and I'm just curious which these are.

Ramen is egg noodles, not sure if they have buckwheat noodles.

The chashu was disappointing: lean and chewy--more like steak found in pho than the tender pork I expected. The wait for a table was long in the hot sun during lunch. And it's still an inconvenient location to get to in terms of parking--little Tokyo is as busy as ever. We had to share a table with some other, really loud patrons. The air conditioning was broken. I got the fried rice, previously one of my favorite side dishes here, but the Yakimeshi rice was too dry and disappointing. I added garlic and soft boiled egg to my ramen. The garlic flakes were too big/strong and overpowered everything. The egg was good. Since the noodles and broth are the most important parts and were both decent, I'd keep this place at around four stars. But there are a lot of other ramen places to try in the area. Original from years ago: Overtook Daikokuya as my favorite ramen place. I love so much about the place except the wait. And the parking, which doesn't validate as long as it used to. But really, the wait is really terrible. I would eat here more often if the wait weren't such an issue.

Also got a yuzu beer to try and it was delicious, nice yuzu flavor with some tanginess. I had the shoyu with duck while my husband had the yama tonkotsu that came with fragrant black garlic oil. The tonkotsu is not one of those rich, milky, creamy ones and I personally like these lighter ones more. I also enjoyed the shoyu which had a pleasant depth of flavor, but it felt like it was relying too heavily on MSG for umami. Noodles came out chewy. Definitely not the best ramens I've had but are some of the better ones in LA. Our server was friendly, as were the rest of the staff. Service was quick.
