A crepe and Thai fusion restaurant that has the epitome of a mom-and-pop vibe. Located in the old part of Dublin, Blossom Bee is a hidden gem that isn't THAT "hidden" because it usually packs a crowd! That is a testament to the tasty food. You can get Thai food, like pad see ew (my favorite), and then a dessert crepe, like mango coconut with sticky rice crepe! Food: 5 stars for taste and variety Location: 4 stars Cleanliness: 3.5 stars Price: 4 stars Service: 5 stars Tip: If you don't like waiting, avoid the busy lunch hour. (We went around 11am, and it was okay!) Since Covid began, Blossom Bee changed to a Takeout Only restaurant. They do have a few tables outside on their sidewalk (I think 4 tables), but the tables are not full service. There is a sign that spells it out, which says they've provided tables for customers to use but they aren't servicing the tables. Everything is served in disposable ware, so after we finished eating, we cleared the table ourselves. It's a cute little gem, and I plan to return to try other dishes. read more

Hello, the food was not flavorful. Pre COVID, the flavor was excellent, but unfortunately, the crepe was bland this time. I remember more vegetables, and with more basil and soy sauce or whatever sauce they use for flavor. The service was good though. Worth another try when passing through. read more

Decided to grab lunch at Blossom Bee on our way out of town today and it was a good choice. As others have mentioned the location is very small, there are only 3-4 tables inside so if they are all full you'll be sitting outside. We were outside and it was a little chilly, I can't imagine sitting out there in the winter months but it as alright today. Our server was attentive and got us taken care of, the food came out quick and it was hot and delicious. I had the Pad Se Ew and my wife had the Yellow Curry. Both dishes were very good with lots of flavor and the cost was moderate, it came out to about $15 each for the meal including our soft drinks so that's really good. Definitely worth dropping by for some good, hot, fresh food at reasonable prices. read more

For a long time we've driven by this place and wanted to give it a try. Today my daughter and I did. First, there is no indoor seating right now. It's outdoor on tables or takeout only. After our order and payment were taken at the door, we sat at one of the tables outside. There is also a table with a water pitcher and cups. The wait for our breakfast was not long at all, maybe 15 minutes. It was brought out by a very polite, quiet older gentleman who told us repeatedly that he appreciated our business. Yes, as others have mentioned, the food came out on paper plates with plastic utensils. But, that wasn't a problem at all for us. My daughter ordered a Thai tea and the Fruity Bee. It's a crêpe with cinnamon apple, cranberries, banana, pecans, honey and cottage cheese. It was topped with some very large pecans, and there was a little side salad as it was close to lunchtime. She loved it. She said it was very filling and she couldn't eat it all. She brought home about 1/4 of it, but then finish the rest of it not too long after we got in the house. I ordered the Morning Break. It is a crêpe made with bacon, spinach, mushrooms, scrambled eggs, mozzarella, and pesto. It was topped with two pieces of bacon and there was also a side salad. SO good. There was a lot of each... Big slices of mushroom, bacon, lots of spinach, just the right amount of scrambled egg and the pesto gave it a really nice flavor. The crêpe was excellent. It was like eating a very, very thin buttermilk pancake. I wish I had asked what the dressing on the salad was, because it was also very good. We will definitely return. read more

On my prior attempts, the waiter kindly informed me it would take 25-45 minutes to cook the food due to a full house of dine-in patrons. Best to come before 11:30am to avoid a crowd. The Pad Thai Chicken was a good portion for the price. It was hot and freshly cooked by the two Thai women in the kitchen. I appreciate the dish was properly stir fried and not overwhelmed by sauce. Little mom & pop shop with a variety of crepes, rice plates and other Thai dishes. I was looking for a somewhat light breakfast and some caffeine so I stopped here to get takeout. The man that helped me was very nice and also very appreciative. I got a breakfast crepe that comes with a refreshing little side salad. There was a good amount of ingredients in the crepe so it was very filling. Their Thai Iced Tea was perfect and was a great pick me up. Possibly THE MOST UNDERRATED place in Dublin!! I have been coming to Blossom Bee for nearly 15 years. Every single time I come in, it is perfection. The crepes are absolutely amazing, thai coffee is so fresh, the rice plates are very flavorful. I cannot recommend this place enough. This is a mom-and-pop shop (literally just the two of them running it) and the service is always so lovely. I always leave here with a smile on my face and my tummy full. We tried coming here on a Sunday for brunch, and the restaurant was full. It's a small place, so it filled quickly. We returned the following weekend, at 11:30 am on Saturday. Only one other table was filled. It could have been because it was a holiday weekend. My husband was in a crepe mood and got the Fruity Bee. I was in a curry mood and got the green curry with chicken. I liked that the portion was just the right size. The green curry was really good, but I'm a wimp when it comes to spiciness. A wonderful hidden treasure in Dublin. Very friendly mom and pop business ambiance with limited seating inside and some more outside. Abundant parking available. The Thai Basil Chicken Crepe and Green Curry Chicken Crepe were delicious. Portions were hearty, fresh, mouth watering flavors, spicyness was perfect, small side salad, and the crepes were pizza slice sized. We will definitely be back. We walked by this restaurant on a prior visit to this shopping mall. Surprised by the menu in the window offering crepes and Thai food, an odd combination. We came on a Saturday around lunch time and were able to get a table inside even though the space is small, all tables were occupied around lunch time so you may end up outside. Service was a little slow, but it was one older gentleman and overall I didn't feel like we waited too long for (most) things to come out. Crepes were a bit slow, with the desert crepes taking quite a while. However, the food was tasty and same as 8 years ago the prices are AMAZING, it was really nice to be able to feed the whole family and not feel like we're going to need a second mortgage at some point. What a nightmare- it's 98 degrees here and the owner is running NO AC in this place. Awful!!! It's atleast over 103 degrees in there. My child and I were not even able to enjoy our meal. The owner and his wife are incredibly sweet but probably need to consider retiring- the place is becoming more messier, I asked for hot sauce and he handed me an expired bottle from 2022 -- and to think it's OK to not run AC when paying customers are coming in.... However, keep in mind that seating is limited and outside only, so you might want to consider getting takeout if the seats look filled or the air is cold. The menu offers a unique combo of Thai food and crepes. The crepe options include savory, Thai, breakfast, and dessert. The classic Thai options include curries, rice plates, noodles, and soups. My favorite Thai dish is pad see ew with tofu, so I barely looked at the menu before ordering it. I also knew that I wanted a crepe, so I got the Strawberry Banana Nutella Crepe for dessert. The pad see ew had thick flat rice noodles that served as the perfect vessel for the flavorful sauce. It was delicious and filling. The crepe was also very tasty. They didn't skimp on the fillings! Unfortunately, I ordered too much and had to pack my leftover noodles and crepes to go. Next time I would consider sharing a dessert crepe instead. Very friendly and accommodating service. Been wanting to try this little Thai cafe by my house but they close rather early at 3 pm. They do not have seating inside but have a couple of tables outside but mostly it's to go. But the cook and worker was very nice, I'm assuming he was the owner. It was a one man show holding it all down. The menu online wasn't up to date so I took a picture of the current menu. They have many types of crepes which I have yet to try. I got an order of pad see ew with chicken which is one of my favorite Thai dishes. Came here for lunch and there was a bit of a wait. We weren't in a hurry so decided to just enjoy the weather. You order inside and eat at the tables outside. We ordered the Massaman curry with chicken and Thai Basil Chicken crepes. After 20 minutes, the Massaman curry came out. It was absolutely delicious!!! So flavorful and the perfect spice. It mostly operates as a takeout place (at the time of this review), but the gentleman took care of us while we sat outside. I ordered the Massaman Curry and my partner ordered Pad Thai w/ chicken. The curry was AMAZING and both were at unbeatable prices. We also ordered the Mango Coconut crepe for dessert which was also very good! The plaza / parking lot where it's situated feels a little sketchy/run down. However, this really is an incredible gem for Thai food! Came here since I was little. My mom found this place from yelp, since she was tired of my siblings and I asking her to make crepes every weekend. We loved it; they had this little notebook where you can give them reviews, draw, etc. They had great crepes and rice plates and you always felt welcomed here. My family always got a thai tea, and it's one of the best thai tea I've had. My mother died a couple years ago and I just remember this place. It was great going back to. Interesting concept - a creperie that also serves Thai food. More interestingly, one that serves Thai food INSIDE crepes - which is what intrigued me and brought me and a friend here for lunch earlier this week. Colleagues who have eaten here had warned me the food is quite spicy, so I resolved to order "mild" versions of whatever we settled on. Parking was easy - with several spots right in front. We walked into the tiny interior and sat at one of the half dozen small tables. I ordered a Thai iced coffee, and my friend a chicken satay appetizer to share. These arrived quickly, and were both up to par, with the peanut sauce being especially delish. For our entrees, my friend ordered the Yellow coconut curry plate with chicken (mild), and I the Thai Basil Chicken crepe (also mild). I chose this over one of several Thai curry options as the server said it was stir fried and I don't like soggy crepes. Then we got lost in conversation, catching up on family and work. Our food arrived. My crepe was piled with Thai Basil Chicken, and so much gravy it was quite soggy. A bit disappointed, I dug in anyway. The flavors were mediocre - I couldn't bring myself to finish it. My friend picked at her yellow coconut chicken curry and left most of it uneaten as well. Interesting concept, mediocre execution. I went with the classic thai iced tea and I was not disappointed! probably one of the best thai teas I've had, seriously, this stuff is like liquid gold, im craving some while writing this review! my friends got thai tea frappes which looked equally as appetizing. I didn't order a crepe unfortunately because I wasn't feeling that hungry so I opted for the satay chicken skewers! it was absolutely phenomenal! the sauce was nice and savory and the chicken was juicy. my friends got crepes and it seemed like they enjoyed it! I would definitely come back and try some of their other items! Blossom bee has slowly become my favorite family-owned business in the area. This store is owned by a lovely couple who always greet and serve you well! They only have outdoor seating but the surrounding complex is quiet allowing for uninterrupted dining. My go-to combination here is the Thai Green Curry Crepe with the Thai iced tea. One tip is that they are able to make any of the Thai crepes vegetarian and you even have the option to add tofu for extra protein. I always get additional tofu with my veggies and am absolutely full by the end of my crepe. The Thai iced tea is honestly better than some of the Thai teas I've had at boba shops, it's strong and delicious! My only qualm with blossom bee is that their crepes are so good and filling that I never have enough room to try their desserts :) Would highly recommend supporting this small business! read more

I love this place so much , literally been coming here for about 8 years ! It a fusion of crepes and Thai food ! They have breakfast crepes , lunch crepes , even vegan crepes, and you can customize and build your own . They also offer regular breakfast , Thai dishes like curry chicken and basil chicken, and kid items for your little ones if they aren't hip to crepes yet . My favorite I always order is the bee signature crepe . Portions are so huge I never finish my crepe in one sitting! Worth the money . Oh and their Thai tea ! I would come here during my lunch break everyday just to get a Thai tea ! Inside is small but set up perfect . Nice modern decor and they offer indoor and outdoor seating . It can get a little loud when it's busy because it's such a small place . But I'm always too busy stuffing my face to care about the volume lol . When I first started coming here customer service was always nice . I think the family of the owners were working in there at the time . I don't know what's better on a hot day, a desert crepe or mango sticky rice, well I never thought I wouldn't have to choose!! Blossom Bee made the wish I never knew I had come true, they have a mango sticky rice crepe that is served with whipped cream and ice cream and it's delicious. In addition they have the best Thai fixings, Chicken Satay with peanut sauce and Pad Thai , also I was so happy that they included some shredded cabbage and carrots with it!!! Not many places do that anymore, so I was very happy to see the crunch factor added to this one! Also the Thai Ice teas were perfect on a day like today. I will come again so I can enjoy the friendly service and taste more delicious items off of their menu!!! P.S.
