We drove 20 minutes to this place after all of their recent social media attention. We HAD to try the banana fritter. Unfortunately, it was incredibly disappointing. As we placed it on a napkin, immediately we saw how oily it was. It tasted soggy and overly cinnamon flavored. The crisp on the outside was non existent and the center was mushy. We also tried a blueberry donut, which was also oily and crumbly. The chocolate old fashioned was just okay. Their coffee was standard coffee shop coffee. The cafe was incredibly dirty. Their air vents were visibly caked with dust and there was clutter and out dated decor everywhere. The employees were kind to all customers. The idea of a banana fritter is great. Donut was well filled and chocolate glaze well covered. The custard was a little on the thin side and not as flavorful as expected. The donut holes were above average size, and glaze was adequate.
