Craving something sweet and came across this hidden gem in Santa Clara. There's street parking out front plus additional parking in the back, which made it super convenient. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The shop itself had a clean, cozy atmosphere with artwork displayed throughout the seating area, and the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We ordered the Sweet Works crepe with strawberry, banana, sweet cream, and Nutella, along with an iced hazelnut coffee. The crepe was loaded with fresh fruit and perfectly balanced with the sweet cream and chocolate drizzle without being overly heavy. The crepe itself was soft, thin, and freshly made with just the right texture. The iced hazelnut coffee paired really well with the dessert -- smooth, refreshing, and not too sweet. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Definitely a nice spot to satisfy a sweet craving, relax for a bit, and enjoy a dessert and coffee combo.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

We we there to celebrate mothers day. Ordered Royal, Falafel, Sweet works and Acai bowl. This is a family run restaurant, [[HIGHLIGHT]]ambiance was nothing to rave for but the food made up for it.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] It is a self serve restaurant. Açaí Açai puree, topped with GF homemade granola, strawberries, bananas, honey, almonds, and shredded coconut. Not tasting great it was like a frozen smoothie. Royal Veggie Crepe Mozzarella cheese, roasted eggplant, mushrooms, avocado, tomatoes, carrots, green onions, lemon tahini sauce and spinach. Best of all and apt name tasted great a saucy crepe. Falafel Falafel, lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, mint, and lemon tahini sauce. Falafel is created as a brick, so missed more crispy region. But not much other the falafel, some sauce in between would make it great. Sweet works Strawberries, bananas, sweet cream and Nutella, perfectly done. What made the experience great is they cut the crepes into squares, very easy to share and really enjoy the food. Good service.

Tofu scramble with soup and green smoothie

The tofu scramble with soup sounds like it wouldn't be great but it was absolutely amazing. So delicious. The chicken fajita crepe was incredibly good. The service was fast, and they're always friendly. [[HIGHLIGHT]]They have a lot of cool paintings and it's a great vibe.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] 10/10 recommend if you're looking for food that's tasty and healthy!

Had Crepes Bistro bookmarked for a while and finally got a chance to try it out on a Wednesday around 8:30pm. Parked on the street nearby and there was indoor seating available. I ordered the Special Crepe and my friend got the Royal Crepe. Took about 15 minutes until our food was ready to be picked up from the counter! Special Crepe (4.5/5): Huge portion size! Crepe was cooked well and I liked how cheesy it was. I appreciated the sriracha bottles provided on the side - that was a nice touch! I wish the spinach was a little more cooked but nonetheless, still enjoyed. Friend loved the Royal crepe! Overall, friendly staff and solid amount of vegan/vegetarian options. The Special Crepe was pretty good, but next time I would get a saucier crepe like the Royal or Italian. The dessert crepes sounded amazing so I would definitely want to come back to try one. Giving Crepes Bistro a 4.5/5, rounding up to 5 because the staff seemed accommodating and would have adjusted my crepe if I had asked!

I first stumbled upon Crepes Bistro back in 2021 and just recently came back. It's exactly how I remembered it! The crepes are filling and so flavorful! I love that they offer a gluten-free batter option. I got the royal veggie and it was packed with veggies and cheese. My partner got the chicken fajita and it was also packed with veggies, chicken and cheese. We shared a black coffee and their house-made fries, which were surprisingly so good! I loved the tahini dipping sauce and if you like spicy, they have a spicy red sauce that is perfectly spicy and adds so much flavor to everything. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Service was pleasant and there was ample seating inside but we opted to sit outside, which was so relaxing and perfect![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Hoping to try their sweet crepes next time, as we were so full from our savory crepes and fries. It took awhile to get our food, but happy to see that they are busy as a small biz! Can't wait to be back.

Everything here consistently getting worse and worse. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Terrible music[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]], bad service, quality of food is deteriorating.

A good crepe spot! The Italian and Nutella crepes were awesome, the avocado one okay. I like that the crepe is able to stand up to the filling, without disintegrating immediately, and that they cut it into squares for you. I feel like otherwise they get destroyed when you try to cut them! One note - I got a biscoff latte, and it tasted pretty burnt to me. I asked them to remake it, and they grudgingly did, but it tasted the same. Maybe the beans were over roasted? Not sure. But the juices were good! I'll be back next time I'm in the area.

I've been going here quite some time now and tried the sweet side, first time trying the savory side. The Mexican birria was spot on! It's a true slow cooked birria! Flavor was delicious not too salty not too bland! Generous portion! It's a very clean and consistent crepe! Absolutely delicious! This is a one stop shop if you're craving sweet and savory! Owner is very humble and their food are always consistent! Time and money well Spent again!

    Strawberry works crepe
    Chloe C.

** 5/5** I tried the strawberry works crepe and, it was exactly what I was craving. The crepe itself was warm and soft with that perfect light crisp on the edges. They didn't skimp on the Nutella either, every bite had that rich, chocolate-hazelnut goodness. The strawberries and bananas were fresh, and sweet. It was simple, and delicious.

    Chicken fajita
    Cindy C.

Was craving crepes and this hit the spot! We ordered the chicken fajita crepe and also the acai bowl. Both were delicious! The crepe was nice and crispy on the outside and fluffy and soft on the inside. It's definitely big enough to share as it was pretty filling. The acai bowl was perfectly balanced between sweet and tart. I can't wait to come back to try their dessert crepes.

It was so yummy! I will have to come get the Philly cheese steak again. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The ambiance is very nice and is actually a great place to get food and do some work.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] You basically order your food first and then sit down. The server was really nice and we got someone to give us a cup of ice for our coffee before we left. Definitely recommend! Parking is in then back too!

The greenest Falafel I've ever seen!

This crepe place was INCREDIBLE!!!!! I hadn't had a crepe in so long & this place perfected it! It was crowded when I went on Super Bowl Sunday at 1 so you know it's good! I got the oregano zaatar crepe that has zaatar mozzarella and tomato and the Biscoff crepe that was filled with coconut cream and bananas which was heaven. Both were phenomenal!!! I was super blown away by the falafel! I've never had one so green on the inside before! And I loved the square shape! And the dip was so so good!!! The biscoff mocha frap was not too sweet and had pieces of biscoff in it! So good!!! I sat outside and they brought the food out, you order at the counter. It was a little bit of a wait, but it was worth it! The inside has plenty of seating and a nice mural on the wall. I will definitely be back for the Biscoff crepe and the falafel!!!!

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Great service, clean restaurant, and the food was delicious![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] First time visiting and it will not be last. Ordered the Birria crepe, fries, the cookie, and a mocha biscoff drink! Definitely too much food lol but yummy! Had leftovers for dinner!

You order at the counter, get a number, pick where you want to sit, and they bring the food to you. Even before my food came out, I noticed a weird, unpleasant sour smell in the air while sitting down. The food came out pretty fast and the prices were pretty fair, but overall the food quality wasn't great. Grilled Grass Fed Steak - $22.99 Rating: (3/10) It hurt a little when I ordered and the cashier at the front didn't ask me how I wanted the steak cooked. They even ask at Chili's how you'd like your steak done. The steak was cooked medium (a bit overcooked for my liking) and was pretty dry toward the side pieces. I also think there needed to be a bit more seasoning variety than just salt and pepper, since it tasted pretty bland. The fries were okay, a bit too salty and under fried. A lot of the bites I had were filled with massive salt crystal chunks. But the real meal and dish killer was the brussels sprouts. First off, it looked nothing like the pictures on the website. The brussels sprouts were way undercooked. The balsamic dressing was unpalatable, purely a bad balsamic vinaigrette, overwhelmingly harsh with a throat burning sourness that overpowered the dish rather than balancing it. It also tasted like sugary corn syrup mixed with harsh vinegar, coating veggies in a sticky, cloying film. Looking back, that pungent vinaigrette could be what I was smelling in the air before my food even came out.

The menu is laid out by geographic regions, which I thought was a really neat way to showcase the many different cuisines. We started with summer rolls and calamari, both of which were excellent. The summer rolls were fresh and bright, with a delicious peanut sauce that was among the best my sister (a self-described "Peanut Sauce Snob") and I had ever had. The large pieces of calamari were expertly cooked, still very tender even after frying. There was a hint of spice in the calamari dipping sauce that I quite enjoyed. For entrees, we got Pad Thai, Pad See You, and Panang Curry -- all favorites we've had many places (despite the many alluring new-to-me options, I admit we all defaulted to known quantities) -- and we were impressed across the board. Everything was flavorful, had just the right amount of spice, and came out steaming hot. We really enjoyed the cozy atmosphere of this restaurant, which felt lively and friendly. After I saw that this restaurant was created by the same group that manages Spruce in San Francisco I became a bit more excited about trying it out. However, I should not have had my hopes up. While the ambiance, decor were definitely on point, and the service was also good, the brunch food unfortunately fell a bit short. I couldn't quite pinpoint this part of it, but my husband pointed it out- the experience itself starts off with the menu, which isn't organized in a classic fashion- they're organized roughly by "sea," "ranch," and for brunch, a separate "brunch " category. Each category mixes all the typical types of dishes, so under "garden" you have all the vegetarian dishes, including appetizers, brunch items, bread and some main courses (like pasta). My other half's comment is that if the food had delivered, or if the waitstaff had been trained to guide us on how to order (perhaps a few small dishes to share, or one from each category etc) this could have been overlooked or seen as a fun whimsical way to dine. Unfortunately neither of those things happened. The waitstaff did ask us if it was our first time dining at the establishment and we confirmed, but then we were just welcomed nicely. The food was priced about what you expect at most places- however the portions were very small. The plating was a bit lackluster- plates seemed too big for the food on the plate, food was placed in a way where it looked like there were empty places where something else could have gone (a lemon wedge? A fresh edible flower? ). The food itself was fine. Just fine. Not amazing. Not bad. Just....fine. I had the poached salmon tartine, and I suppose I was hoping it would be as amazing as the salmon club at Poppy and Claro (that sandwich is out of this world delicious to me- generous portions as well, excellent plating...but they only open on weekdays). We also had the breakfast plate, the lemon pasta (from the "garden" category"). My younger son ended up eating an off the menu mixed fruit bowl which was delicious but..just cut fruit. We prob won't be coming back.
