    Falafel
    Prem D.

We we there to celebrate mothers day. Ordered Royal, Falafel, Sweet works and Acai bowl. This is a family run restaurant, ambiance was nothing to rave for but the food made up for it. It is a self serve restaurant. Açaí Açai puree, topped with GF homemade granola, strawberries, bananas, honey, almonds, and shredded coconut. Not tasting great it was like a frozen smoothie. Royal Veggie Crepe Mozzarella cheese, roasted eggplant, mushrooms, avocado, tomatoes, carrots, green onions, lemon tahini sauce and spinach. Best of all and apt name tasted great a saucy crepe. Falafel Falafel, lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, mint, and lemon tahini sauce. Falafel is created as a brick, so missed more crispy region. But not much other the falafel, some sauce in between would make it great. Sweet works Strawberries, bananas, sweet cream and Nutella, perfectly done. What made the experience great is they cut the crepes into squares, very easy to share and really enjoy the food. Good service.

Had Crepes Bistro bookmarked for a while and finally got a chance to try it out on a Wednesday around 8:30pm. Parked on the street nearby and there was indoor seating available. I ordered the Special Crepe and my friend got the Royal Crepe. Took about 15 minutes until our food was ready to be picked up from the counter! Special Crepe (4.5/5): Huge portion size! Crepe was cooked well and I liked how cheesy it was. I appreciated the sriracha bottles provided on the side - that was a nice touch! I wish the spinach was a little more cooked but nonetheless, still enjoyed. Friend loved the Royal crepe! Overall, friendly staff and solid amount of vegan/vegetarian options. The Special Crepe was pretty good, but next time I would get a saucier crepe like the Royal or Italian. The dessert crepes sounded amazing so I would definitely want to come back to try one. Giving Crepes Bistro a 4.5/5, rounding up to 5 because the staff seemed accommodating and would have adjusted my crepe if I had asked!

I first stumbled upon Crepes Bistro back in 2021 and just recently came back. It's exactly how I remembered it! The crepes are filling and so flavorful! I love that they offer a gluten-free batter option. I got the royal veggie and it was packed with veggies and cheese. My partner got the chicken fajita and it was also packed with veggies, chicken and cheese. We shared a black coffee and their house-made fries, which were surprisingly so good! I loved the tahini dipping sauce and if you like spicy, they have a spicy red sauce that is perfectly spicy and adds so much flavor to everything. Service was pleasant and there was ample seating inside but we opted to sit outside, which was so relaxing and perfect! Hoping to try their sweet crepes next time, as we were so full from our savory crepes and fries. It took awhile to get our food, but happy to see that they are busy as a small biz! Can't wait to be back.

A good crepe spot! The Italian and Nutella crepes were awesome, the avocado one okay. I like that the crepe is able to stand up to the filling, without disintegrating immediately, and that they cut it into squares for you. I feel like otherwise they get destroyed when you try to cut them! One note - I got a biscoff latte, and it tasted pretty burnt to me. I asked them to remake it, and they grudgingly did, but it tasted the same. Maybe the beans were over roasted? Not sure. But the juices were good! I'll be back next time I'm in the area.

I've been going here quite some time now and tried the sweet side, first time trying the savory side. The Mexican birria was spot on! It's a true slow cooked birria! Flavor was delicious not too salty not too bland! Generous portion! It's a very clean and consistent crepe! Absolutely delicious! This is a one stop shop if you're craving sweet and savory! Owner is very humble and their food are always consistent! Time and money well Spent again!

** 5/5** I tried the strawberry works crepe and, it was exactly what I was craving. The crepe itself was warm and soft with that perfect light crisp on the edges. They didn't skimp on the Nutella either, every bite had that rich, chocolate-hazelnut goodness. The strawberries and bananas were fresh, and sweet. It was simple, and delicious.

Was craving crepes and this hit the spot! We ordered the chicken fajita crepe and also the acai bowl. Both were delicious! The crepe was nice and crispy on the outside and fluffy and soft on the inside. It's definitely big enough to share as it was pretty filling. The acai bowl was perfectly balanced between sweet and tart. I can't wait to come back to try their dessert crepes.

It was so yummy! I will have to come get the Philly cheese steak again. The ambiance is very nice and is actually a great place to get food and do some work. You basically order your food first and then sit down. The server was really nice and we got someone to give us a cup of ice for our coffee before we left. Definitely recommend! Parking is in then back too!

This crepe place was INCREDIBLE!!!!! I hadn't had a crepe in so long & this place perfected it! It was crowded when I went on Super Bowl Sunday at 1 so you know it's good! I got the oregano zaatar crepe that has zaatar mozzarella and tomato and the Biscoff crepe that was filled with coconut cream and bananas which was heaven. Both were phenomenal!!! I was super blown away by the falafel! I've never had one so green on the inside before! And I loved the square shape! And the dip was so so good!!! The biscoff mocha frap was not too sweet and had pieces of biscoff in it! So good!!! I sat outside and they brought the food out, you order at the counter. It was a little bit of a wait, but it was worth it! The inside has plenty of seating and a nice mural on the wall. I will definitely be back for the Biscoff crepe and the falafel!!!!

Great service, clean restaurant, and the food was delicious! First time visiting and it will not be last. Ordered the Birria crepe, fries, the cookie, and a mocha biscoff drink! Definitely too much food lol but yummy! Had leftovers for dinner!

If you're craving for an amazing and well-made crepe, made from fresh and vegan ingredients which leave you feeling refreshed and rejuvenated after eating, go to Crepe Bistro now! It has been one of my best-kept secrets place to go for the past 8 years. Highly recommend you give this store a try! I haven't tried all of the items on their menu yet but my favorites are avocado, royal and Italian for savory crepes. For sweet crepes, sweet works and French affection will have your heart. Any of their smoothies are top notch, but I especially enjoy the Green Goddess one. Crepe Bistro is conveniently located off Bascom Rd exit on 880 Highway in Santa Clara. It looks modest from the outside looking in, flanked by a laundromat and a copy center. There are a decent number of street parkings available in front of the store and it tends not to be crowded. I can always and easily find parkings every single time I come here. Crepe Bistro has everything you need for a great and heathy vegan meal. Their selection ranges from savory crepes to sweet crepes, salads to açaí bowls and yummy smoothies. Their prices are reasonable and their portions are HUGE! Usually I split my food with another friend as we can't never finish ours. The store is well lit, nicely decorated, neat and clean! It's a self-serve type of restaurant. After you order, you'll receive a buzzer which lets you know when your order is ready. You'll grab water, utensils and napkins at the self serve station, then pick a seat of your choice. They have a side seating section which features artworks from local artists. I always enjoy a slow weekend here eating crepes and look at those amazing artworks. If you have your dog with you, opt for the cute outdoor seating area. You also clean up your dishes and trash upon finishing. Their crepes are what really set them apart !! The crepes are made to perfection, right amount of flavor and brings you to heaven with every bite! I always feel full yet refreshed and rejuvenated after eating such fulfilling and well-made food! The staff is also very friendly and accommodating here. Overall, this is one of my favorite restaurants anytime I crave for something healthy yet fulfilling. Highly recommended!

Great place for plant based whole food eating with carnivore options. Upgrade to buckwheat crepes for earthier flavor. All house made except bagels. Go with an eating companion so can split a savory & sweet crepe. I also enjoy their coffee and chai tea.

Social media strikes again…read more.. I came across a reel on IG featuring Iraklis. The food looked intriguing and scrumptious...in other words FIRE! I would not have known about this place if it wasn't for the reel. I'm also not familiar with Syrian and Lebanese cuisine. Thought I'd give it a shot. Not the biggest of venues, it a bit small on the inside, they have few benches and tables outside. Parking wasn't an issue, plenty of spaces in the parking lot. The staff was very helpful and informative. This is a fast casual spot with table service. They do bring the food to you, but you can help yourself to everything else afterwards, is: water, sauces, napkins etc. #SyrianEats: WRAP: ~ SHAWARMA: Damascus style CHICKEN - 5/5 Absolutely DELISH!! Love the garlic spread that came on the side. The wrap was already tasty enough, but somehow it was even tastier with the Garlic spread. Even the fries that came with it were spectacular! That drizzle pomegranate molasses... just DELISH!! This was one of the best wraps I had Stateside. Actually the best! PLATE: ~ MANSAF - 5/5 The Lamb shank was excellent as well! Tender fall of the bone with flavor galore, and the butter sauce was amazing as well...delish! The rice that came with the Lamb shank was OK. It was probably good, but the flavor profile didn't stand up to the rest of the food. I thought it could use more flavor, but that just me nitpicking... 4.5 ***** rounded up to 5***** for me This food here is amazing. I'll be back...

Alot of people have said that the Syrian version is the best I know I needed to try it. Behold Iraklis ended up being only five minutes from my house. I remember that this place used to be so many other restaurants, and now has been replaced by this great place. You know the food is going to be good when the owner or manager comes out to ask you how the food is to each costumer. I felt that warmth for sure. As for the food it was very delicious the stand out was of course was rmthe shawarma I got chicken which came with the pomegranate molasses, which was good, but maybe next time I can ask for a little less because I do want to also try the chicken flavor itself, which is why I also for the chicken kakbab on the side to which was very well seasoned and delicious. The pickles and hummus on the side for both plates are a very nice touch they help cut some of the richness down. The fries are the underrated gem also. The way they are fried and cooked here, I think they do fresh batches every time, that is the vibe I get with this place. The hibiscus juice was also really refreshing to drink. It's a small place but most of the tables were all seated by people, and people were coming in and ordering to go, so you know it's good! Definitely give this place a try!

Hella yummy Palestinian food in the Bay!…read more I've heard of Holyland but finally had the chance to dine there for a weekend lunch. These days it's always at the front of my mind that food spots that call themselves "Middle Eastern" or "Mediterranean" truly divulge who is the owner and chefs are. I'm talking about only eating from restaurants that can name the country their food comes from be it Falasteen, Jordan, Lebanon, Morocco, the list goes on. Holyland is located in the industrial part of Santa Clara, and they boast lots of interior seating (great for large parties and group meals) and also run a catering service. So there's loads of parking and plenty of space. My friend and I were hungry, so I got the lamb kofta and he had the beef plates. We were SO happy. It comes with a light tangy salad, delicious hummus with a kick of spice, a bed of delicious yellow rice and slender pita bread. They also have serve-yourself hot cardamom tea which is so delicious and perfect. They also serve a bunch of other refrigerated drinks like Salaam Cola and kefir. The mezze plate with x4 different dips looks so yummy, I would get that next time with a large group to share. Will definitely head back with a larger group. We saw other diners from couples, to solo to large families eating. The interior could use some sprucing up, but the quality of the food, staff, and authenticity of the place is #1. Delicious. I haven't had Xinjiang/Uyghur cuisine before eating here, but it's delicious! While the noodles are often in oil-based flavorings, they are never too heavy as the herbs and spices balance the light oil. Everything has lots of flavor, though if you can't eat lots of oil, some dishes may not be for you. The hand-pulled noodles are very long, so if you are sharing a dish, you may be pulling them out for a while or end up grabbing the same noodle as someone else. They have interesting dishes with paneer and chicken as well. We ordered two dishes- Leela lasun keema - This dish was intriguing, with cheese, grated egg, and a rich, spicy gravy. The portion size was generous; a single person won't be able to finish it with just three breads. It was very filling, we took back home the leftover and enjoyed it later with some rotis. They have another version of this- "kachu" with runny eggs instead of grated eggs.. well thought option! Volcano egg biryani- The dish is as interesting as its name suggests. The base is an omelette, and the rice is flavorful with bell peppers, finely chopped veggies, and aromatic spices. The center is with a tomato-based curry. The inside had a good amount for seats and there is complimentary chai as well and theres outside seating. Its in a random residential area but would definitely make the trek back here. Best part: THEY HAVE A NAMAAZ ROOM!!!

Very amazing restaurant with a cozy interior and excellent food. It's in a random part of Sunnyvale…read morethat errs more residential. It's easy to ignore if you don't go looking for it. I ordered the chicken tikka masala, the crazy curry fries, and a mango lassi. I was fully knocked out. The chai at the register is also so delicious and free, you should definitely grab some if you can! It's piping hot and perfectly spiced. The chicken tikka masala itself comes with a delicious flaky naan that's similar to Chinese scallion pancake. It pairs perfectly with the dish itself. The crazy curry fries were also so good and saucy. I was so happy that we were splitting this dish six ways, because I would not have any space to try it had I gone individually. My friend got the Tikka Burger, and he was knocked OUT. It looked so amazing and smelled divine. We also got the yogurt dip to share, and it was so savory and creamy. I'd recommend this to anyone in the area who wants to try some amazing Pakistani food.
