Let's start with the paperwork given to us the "100% CSI" score let's say No this is wrong. We were never asked about our experience so I'll write it here. We will say 10 for the repairs. Truck turned out pretty good for being wrecked like it was so I'll give them that but let's go over the rest! I'll say a 3 on the customer service, we were not called about our service except maybe once or twice as we were promised. Rob the shop manger was rude about our concerns about not being contacted about the vehicle and the condition of it. Jake, great adjuster, was horrible with communication until the end especially about when parts were unavailable and I mean we are talking like they knew about it like 2 days beforehand WE would have to call inquire about the truck JUST TO FIND OUT INFORMATION! TRASHY! AND then be told we can't keep pulling Jake from the shop as IF he was calling us in the first place to update us. Our vehicle was also not on time we were told 9 days then magically that turned into almost a month, reasonably we understand parts have to be shipped, and then when we were told Monday they didn't call us until Tuesday so that's also a lie on paper to make them look good. IT went to the body shop on a Tuesday, 4 days to paint 2 truck finders.... I think not I think that is laziness from the workers. We WILL NOT be recommend blossom Chevy if you want your vehicle back and updates about the progress. We were promised updates on Tuesdays and Thursdays! We were not given them! HORRIBLE COMMUNICATION! If blossom Chevy had not had treated me so well in the past with my corvette this truck would have gone to another Chevy auto shop. Blossom Chevy has disappointed me heavy in the customer service BESIDES the ladies that answer calls for the collusion center. Thank you ladies for also being amazing and kind to us. And! The people at the enterprise at the collusion center are rude and unprofessional! Especially when it comes to signing rental paperwork. Lady had an attitude because I am on the insurance and she said the man had to sign for it. Unfortunately lady, we both are fully covered on that plan so legally I can sign for the rental. The only other good part was the lady that was filling in the for HR lady inside the dealership itself. She was a sweetheart helped us even get to manger (who was to say being a donkey) But we want to thank her even though we missed her name, for helping us. Sadly we really hope that we never have to return to blossom Chevy for any work ever again or to even buy a car. This experience has ruined every good thing. read more

Never take your car to this lot for service. For one, they over charge for EVERYTHING. I get it, its a Chevy lot. Not your run the mill car shop but you would THINK that you would get quality service backed by professionals with that price. WRONG! Instead you get charged for what they THINK is the problem, then turns out that it wasn't the problem and you get an estimate for something 2 times the price already serviced. The initial problem is still not fixed and I'm out $1,100. Lose-lose but guess what? The car lot gets a win-win. You would think as professionals, they would try to help the situation a little bit but "unfortunately" they can't put my bad part back on because they can't return the part they replaced. The manager showed no remorse or empathy knowing this is a huge unexpected cost and his whole attitude screamed, "oh well, take it or leave it". Didn't offer any coupons, assistance or anything. I was recommended to go to the GMC dealer near me, Blossom had no interest in "taking care of me" as a consumer, I would have expected them to go out of their way to make sure my vehicle was repaired correctly after I had just bought it 3 weeks prior. The company wouldn't take ownership and made numerous excuses as to why it's not their fault, but I could spend $700 to resolve the issue. Approved the proper repairs a day in advance, still wasn't ready and they pretended like I never approved it even after telling the employee and manager what was approved. Majority of the customers were involved in some form of an accident so, you would think they would ensure your experience was flawless. Nope, not even close! We were assigned Brooke as our estimator and she was beyond horrible! Instead of calling us to provide updates, we had to call her and never received a straight answer. When the car was done, we arrived only to find new issues that were not there when the car arrived. A dent in the door frame, a torn weather strip and a busted speaker. It was agreed the car would remain there to get the new issues corrected. Days later, we went back in to get the car and noticed that instead of replacing the speaker, they attempted to super glue the parts back to gather. Again, Brooke providing poor customer service and never apologized for the inconvenience or the new damages. I then asked to speak to a manager who was also non-apologetic, with endless excuses as to why they would glue parts back together. I know COVID messed everything up, so that was fine. It was still drivable. I got a call that they had an opening earlier, so I took my vehicle in on September 13. It took them 3 days to replace the starter. 5 months later I had to have it towed AGAIN for the same damn problem. Took it in because the motor went bad and wouldn't start. Explained to them my experience with take 5. The insisted on putting a new starter on it. Tried to charge me $1200 after it was installed. I explained I called around and every other dealership was only $750. After 2 weeks a manager called me and told me they over priced me and lowered it down to $749. Then tells me my motor is bad and the car is no good. I told them this when I took it in. It was never the starter it was always the motor. Avoid this dealer at all costs, they're a complete scam. They gladly took a deposit from me for a car, then continuously pushed back the delivery date over and over again. They would say it's literally on the truck from Detroit and would be there tomorrow and then tomorrow it was never on that truck. This continued for awhile until I asked for my deposit back. A frustrating situation made better by good customer service. My car needed a new throttle module, so on October 29th I dropped it off at Blossom. Several hours after dropping off my car, I was called by a technician and told it my throttle module had to be sent to GM to be rebuilt and that there was a 3-5 week lead-time. Obviously not ideal, but something I understood - it is a 1997 Corvette and parts may have been discontinued. Five weeks later, I received a call that GM was waiting for part, and it would be up to two weeks longer until the work was done. I was frustrated and I vented my frustration. I was contacted by the owner of Blossom Chevrolet and he walked me through the entire process of what had been done/what was being done to ensure my vehicle was repaired and I was informed. Unfortunately, some repairs require multiple moving parts/entities and those variables are sometimes impossible to account for - this was one of those rare cases. He apologized for my inconvenience, and understood my frustration. While there may be hiccups in the process due to unforeseen circumstances, but there are good people at Blossom who will do their best to ensure customers are informed and satisfied. NEVER EVER use geico express at Blossom Chevrolet. We are seniors on a fixed income and we were in a fender bender. We went here yesterday and were told our car was totaled. We disagreed and said we were walking away with our car. We refused to accept it was totalled. Then the Geico adjuster came back to us and said there was a good chance it would fall into the perimeters and could be fixed and not totalled. She convinced us to let them investigate further. She then kept us on tinderhooks all day yesterday. Assuring us multiple times that it would probably be okay and we still had a leeway of a couple thousand in repairs before it would be considered totaled. First thing this morning she called and told us it was totalled. We said no, we are taking the car as is and walking away, so now of course our car is in pieces at Blossom Chevrolet and we have to pay a fortune for us anyway to get it back as it was and walk away with it. Adjuster says we have no options and now must just walk away with no money, no repairs, nothing and we can't try to even get money from the person who hit us insurance company. This is a 2012 Jeep with damage to 2 doors. If i could show you a picture you would see how ridiculous this is. Shame on Geico and Blossom taking advantage of seniors. I had collision and my insurance recommend me to use Blossom Chevrolet. They completed the work in 2 weeks except for a couple of cosmetic parts that were back ordered. They promised me the part was going to be in a month and would call me to bring my car in to have it installed. Well months passed and when I call their customer service about it they either A. Honestly, I haven't had such a poor experience in quite some time. My car was with. Blossom for 4 weeks when the original estimate was 1. Communication is horrible. I regularly had to facilitate my car being repaired correctly within the guidelines of State Farm. Including helping Blossom understand why may car was at their repair shop three times. My car sat on Blossoms lot for the first week without any progress because of miscommunication between the service shop and the body shop. I would receive contradicting reports regarding the status of my car. At one point 2.5 weeks in I received an email stating my car was ready. Knowing better I contacted Blossom to confirm my car was ready. I was told by service it was indeed ready including a final balance owed. I arrived at the service center as was told to go back to the body shop. I arrived at the body shop and I was told they already delivered my car back to service. After waiting 45 min I was told by the body shop manager, Lori, that they were sorry they looked so 'retarded' and they continue to tried to find out the status of my car. As it turned out my car was not finished and they were still waiting on parts. I tried reaching out to the General Manager and never recieved a response. I would be told by employees they would call me back and a return call NEVER came. The capstone of my experience ended when I arrived to the body shop today to pickup my car. It took 30 min for my car to be moved to the delivery area. I have a Chevy Volt. Once it arrived I was told by their Body Shop rep Joe, 'I'm not very familiar with your car. Your percentages are low. Will you be able to get home?' There was 2% battery left. I told him I'd make it as it has a gas generator. My usual experience has been the dealership knows the model of my car and charges it before delivery back to me. If I were Chevy I would review the management of this dealership. We purchased a 2015 Chevy Cruz (new) Blossom Chevrolet. Upon purchase, we had a warranty to help with any issues. We have had to take the vehicle five (5) different times to the dealer for repairs for leaking antifreeze. Each time, the dealer informs us that they have made the repairs, it lasts a few months and then we have to take the vehicle back for repairs. Each time they tell us something different about the repairs. Now, we are having issues with the antifreeze leaking again! We called and spoke to the dealer regarding this and they stated that it is now out of warranty and any repairs would be on us. My complaint is two-fold: One, what is going on with this new car that is causing it to have a continuous antifreeze problem? Two, what kind of dealership has us return multiple times with the same issues and the problems is never resolved! read more

I was directed by my company's fleet manager to pick up my new Equinox from Blossom Chevrolet. I worked with David Cooks to coordinate the vehicle pickup. He's a very nice young man and was pleasant to work with. The fleet company wanted to transport the vehicle I was driving at the time to another person, and David gave me timely updates about the BMV registration and pickup. I went to pick up the license plates with my dad, and as we left, my dad made a remark of how nice everyone was. From the receptionist to people walking by saying hello. I had to agree. A few years ago, I bought one car from them. It was a great experience. The time came to trade that car in and I decided to go back to Blossom Chevy because of how I was treated the first time, even though I had moved out of state. I figured, hey, why not. They are a great business and treated me well, and 5 hours isn't that far anyways. So I did my research, called down there many times, and got set up, even got approved for a car that I wanted. All I had to do was show up, trade in my current car, and drive away. So I get there and ask to speak to Sarah. Well, she was either busy or gone, so I got pawned off on some other salesperson. The first thing this guy does is say "why do you need a third row seat? you only have a wife and two little kids. You would fit quite nicely into a new Equinox". I have a few problems with this. First off, its none of their business why I want a third row seat. Maybe I want to move a few extra crates of washer fluid in the winter. Maybe we go on long family trips and need the extra room for stuff. Maybe its because I have a heavy trailer and a racecar that a smaller front wheel drive crossover wouldn't pull, or maybe its just not your concern why I wanted that third row. So he leaves and doesn't say ANYTHING to me for 48 minutes. Yes. I timed it. Then, he comes back, grabs a bottle of water off his desk, says "sup" and walks away again. Really? After another 33 minutes he comes back ad says that they have a problem with my financing and that I will need to fork over an additional 3500 for a down payment. I was already planning on handing over 10%, but I was having a hard time fathoming handing over a total of 7,000 as a down payment. I see how far he was willing to take this line of bull, and it was pretty far. The finance manager eventually came over and said "the banks wont let you have the used durango that you wanted, but I can get you a really nice brand new Chevy Cruze. Well, I laugh at that, because it will do nothing that I want it to do. They were trying really hard to push new cars. They saw a younger guy, 25, walk into the dealership and were going to try to take me for a ride. Nobody, not even one person, ever asked me if I had secured financing for myself (I had a backup plan, I always do) or If I was interested in keeping the car that I had in addition to buying the durango since there was negative equity on my trade in. They ended up losing a repeat customer because of high pressure sales,a prick salesman, lying through their teeth, and failing to secure vital information from their customers. I wound up going and buying a new Durango from a dealership in the area, towing the HHR back to Michigan, and spending less money than I would have at Blossom Chevy. If you are young and trying to buy a car, run away. Go to Ray Skillman or another major dealership. read more

My car had problems shifting and it was sent to Blossom to have the TCM reprogrammed. According to the tow truck driver that towed my car from the original shop to Blossom and towed it back to the original shop, my car drove in their bay and it had to be pushed out out the bay and came back to the original shop not running. To be fair, my car had an ignition switch problem that was recalled years later but in order for the car to be drive able before a recall was finally issued, a bypass had to be done before the recall. Why this wasn't addressesd the first time my car was at Blossom is a mystery. After taking my car back to Blossom a second time, they fixed the bypass and they did an effective repair job on that. Blossom had to replace another computer during the second repair which is questionable if the TCM had been done correctly. The battery on my car was dead when it got back to the original shop which quite possibly means the TCM touched the battery terminal posts which over wiped the computer. They claim the new computer was necessary due to the bypass which I am not a mechanic but according to Saturn, to get the key to work with the security bypass fix it is simply a matter of reprogramming the values on the BCM according to the mileage. A new computer to fix that issue according to Saturn isn't normal protocol. I was at $445 plus $180 so far. After paying to have sensors cleaned as a coolant message was then displaying and the car was idling fast and getting poor gas mileage. Problem was allegedly resolved. Only it wasn't. The check engine light came on two days later. I stopped by Advanced Auto and I had them run a diagnostic for codes as soon as the check engine light came on. The coolant sensor connector was bad and and oxygen sensor needed to be replaced. (The coolant code/bad connector/faulty error code is a very common problem with Saturn Ions and a Google search can confirm that). Cleaning the sensors won't fix bad sensors or bad sensor connectors. I don't think it is unreasonable to expect Blossom to run a diagnostic test for codes after doing repair work on a car to make sure the repair is fixed correctly and completely. I was never advised it wasn't fixed completely or that there were diagnostic codes registering. Blossom offered to take a look at it again but could not guarantee there would be no charge to do so (I did not tell them about the diag codes registering) and I just don't feel comfortable shelling out yet even more money to them for yet another diagnostics test which they would require (even though I know what the codes are) when they should have caught the problems the second time they had my car in their shop. I'm taking my car to a different auto shop/mechanic for the repair because I just personally don't feel comfortable with the quality of the service dept at Blossom. It seems like a never ending ordeal that costs customers a lot of money and time. Again, it is simply my opinion these codes should have been caught the second time it was in the shop and they were addressing these issues. No. I've talked to the actual tow truck driver that does not work for the other shop (Independent tow truck driver) and for Blossom to blame this on the other shop is really lame. Talking to the tow truck driver brought clarity to the entire situation and totally led to the resolution of which shop was actually at fault. Furthermore, charging me $140-200 to clean bad sensors was a total rip off because cleaning bad sensors won't fix bad sensors. Neither will checking wire connectors. The codes being ran afterwards would have told you the sensors were bad. Replacing bad sensors with new sensors will fix the problem. I took it to a total diff repair shop than the two involved here. I needed new sensors. Have the receipts to prove it. read more

This review is based on my experience with the collision center and service center only. I'm not sure of her title, but I'm going to say receptionist, was so professional and helpful and personable. The person who completed my estimate was not any of those things. I just didn't feel he was very congenial with me at all. Very curt and really seemed to struggle to give me what information he did give. Apart from the body damage, there seems to be some undercarriage damage, steering or something. He wouldn't look at it, but didn't tell me what I needed to do until I prompted him. I finally flat out asked what I needed to do to get it checked. Go to service. So, I go to service. The person there was much nicer, but he was confused as to why collision even sent me over there. He thought if it was going to be an insurance related claim, collision should have looked at it. Well, I don't know either, but the guy in service couldn't look at it then. Not sure what was on their agenda, as there was no one else in there, but he told me I could bring it back tomorrow, and they would charge me $118. According to a little sign in their waiting room this place is listed on the Indy A List for something or other, but based on my experience, I don't get how that happened. read more

Took a GMC there to have an AC tested. We told the mechanic the condenser failed as this is a known issue with the GM's. They charged my employee $260 for the evaluation and gave us a quote for over $1400 to change a condenser. Needless to say we went elsewhere and had the repair for $400 with no evaluation cost. Definitely not returning here and have been replacing my fleet with Fords. Between this and junk transmissions. read more

Had to take my car here because the person who was at fault had USAA insurance and this is their preferred provider. They fixed the front of my car fine. But also somehow damaged the sides, and broke off my antenna. They tried to tell me it was like that even though looking at the photos you can see it wasn't. Now I have to take my time and go through small claims court. I will continue to warn as many people as I can to stay away from blossom on shadeland. read more
