Our heater stopped blowing hot air. Blowin' Cold A/C came out and quickly diagnosed the problem which was a bad blower fan capacitor. It caused the motor to draw too much current and overheated which triggered the heat sensor to shut off the gas heater. So just had cold air moving through the ducts. Installed a new capacitor and issue fixed! I'm sure I was lucky getting a service call so quickly but only took 3 hours from the time I called to getting heater working. AC started short cycling Sunday morning. They were able to come out and check the unit same day during Memorial Day weekend! They called Trane to see if I was still under warranty for a part, luckily we were. Came through as soon as they got the part on Tuesday. AC was up and running by lunch time. Truly outstanding from start to finish. This is the fourth time I have had this company assist us with either a repair or general maintenance on our AC systems. Just this last week, we were able to schedule routine maintenance within 48 hours of calling. They had to come out twice due to a special order Freon to complete the job... Both times they came just a little early, contacted me before arrival, were very professional and knowledgeable. I would never call anyone else! Over the last two years I've had to deal with plumbers, different electricians, roofers, and auto mechanics... so that being said, I'm usually on the defensive. The owner of this company is also highly available, their pricing is absolutely fair, and their appointment setting and payment process is seamless. I can't really say enough good things. Top-notch, reliable and trustworthy. In comparison, I actually had a company come out one time that told me one of my AC units was broken and would have to be completely replaced. Come to find out the technician that came out simply turned it off in the attic. Isn't that something? There's so much fraud out there, but you DON'T have to worry about that with THIS company!!! Highly recommended!!!! I'm already making sure to have them come back out here to check my heating system at the end of August. Why not be ahead of the game when you have access to a company who does such a good job? Referred to Blowin' Cold A/C by a friend. After speaking to the owner on the phone for 15 seconds, I knew he wasn't the type of person I'd do business with. He was very vague with pricing, etc. If someone is going to purchase a new A/C unit the company should offer the information to the consumer to make an educated decision. Do Better Matthew! My family was out of pocket a couple of weeks ago and my A/C stopped cooling. My cousin told me to call Matthew LeDoux at Blowin' Cold because he was absolutely trustworthy, and I just knew because of the age of my unit that it was going to be a goner. He had a full schedule but still made a run by my house in Katy not long after I called. He was up in the attic, then outside, and so efficient! Excellent service. They went above and beyond. Our motor went out and then our fuse blew. We had the motor replaced and then it blew again. Home warranty sent out a company that had horrible reviews that I had asked to be changed to another company in which they refused to do. Their Tech came out last Thursday evening, was here 2 hours and we were then told us our outside unti was gone and we would need a whole new condenser. Incredible service time and again. Had an entire unit go out with guests in town the Friday night before July 4th. Matt came out (called at 7pm and was there by 8pm) found a way to patch the system until he could get back over with his full crew to install a new unit. Despite a late call on that Friday, he didn't leave until it was good to go (10:30 that night!!). Installed an entire new unit the next week (his patch held the entire time) and now my air conditioning bill is actually lower at the end of July than it was in June. We had another A/C company (Houston Air Comfort) scheduled yesterday but they cancelled because of meetings!? and rescheduled for Thursday. Used next door to find recommendations for A/C repair.
