Honest, reliable AC repair. I've called Service Pros twice for two different ac repair issues. Both times they showed up on time, had great communication, and were able to fix the system quickly. They are friendly and honest. Some of their parts pricing can be pretty expensive, but they will tell you what part you need in case you would rather save the money and do the work yourself, but sometimes it's just better to have them get it done and over with. Update-Aside from the response below, I had the owner call me while I was at work as well as text me so I am updating my review to avoid further contact from this person. Had a Freon leak so I called service pros. The guy showed up with a helper and both guys were extremely polite and professional. I said I thought there was a Freon leak so they proceeded to work. When done the guy said he needed to call his boss and then he could tell me what was wrong and what my options were (red flag). So he proceeds to tell me he found a leak in the evaporator coil. He said Freon was banned (its actually discontinued not banned) so he had two options. The cheap option was to replace the evaporator coil and compressor which would also require replacement of the furnace for $6,000 and change. I stopped there and said thank you, here's a check for the service fee but I'll pass. My brother in law is an HVAC tech and city inspector in another city so I called him and he came by the next weekend. Starting from scratch he detected a small leak somewhere else and refilled with Freon. A couple of months later and the AC is still working great. I paid $350 for the Freon and cooked up a couple of steaks. Compared to $6,000 plus. I'm glad I said no. read more

Service Pro has been our Maintenance Company for several years, they are very responsive and professional. They really work as a team from the kind ladies who answer the phones, to the technicians (Daniel) that do the servicing. AC wasn't cooling on Sunday night called early Monday and they were out in a couple hours, found the problem was the coil under warranty thru Lennox, however, Lennox is not in a hurry to release a coil under warranty. Long story short Service Pro continued to work with us after a few hiccups and we have a working AC system. They kept us posted on what they were doing. Communication was great. In the end it's not that the job was done poorly, it's the fact that the company saw a dissatisfied customer and and reached out to make sure that customer was happy. When they came the noise stopped and he couldn't find the noise or the problem in the 15 minute visit so he said he cleaned the unit and left. Well of course the unit starts to make the noise again. I call a friend who also works on a/c units at apartments. He came and found the problem immediately, the motor going out. I calls the company back to tell them and she says oh well we need to hear the sound to know what the problem is. Really?! So what did I pay you to do then, nothing?! Our A/C was leaking freon and was blowing out hot air this past Sunday. I called and left a message Sunday night. They called me back and I was able to schedule a technician to come out and diagnose the problem Monday afternoon. Turns out the evaporator coils in the attic was the source of the leak and the compressor outside didn't look too good either. They were able to replace everything by Tuesday afternoon. August is definitely the worse time to have a broken air conditioning system and the heat was so horrible. I'm so thankful they were able to get everything fixed so quickly. I came home on a Friday, and my downstairs unit was only keeping the lower portion of my home to 80 degrees in the middle of the Texas summer. Figuring that I wouldn't be able to get a tech out until Monday at the earliest, we made a few phone calls early Saturday morning. Daniel's friend, who was highly recommended to us, said that he was busy, but to call Daniel. Daniel was at our home within two hours! He was very courteous and knowledgeable. He diagnosed a leak in my coil for the lower unit. He knew the warranty on my manufacturer, and submitted the order for a new coil Saturday night. In the meantime, while I waited, refilled our unit with freon, just to get us through the waiting period. I received a call first thing Monday morning from Daniel, and he said he could be at my home to install the new coil. It took him three hours from start to finish. His rates were also very competitive, and he warranties his labor for one year. Hopefully my AC doesn't go out again, but if it does, I will definitely use Service Pros again, as well as tell other folks we know to use him. read more
