Really sad to have see this, but came in today which was busy! I watched a server getting drinks and chips for a table. To my disbelief he used his hands to grab the chips out of the hot box. I'll start with we had reservations for 16 people at 6pm. Upon arrival we were seated and had one server. I have managed a restaurant and would never have a server take a 16 top alone let alone have additional tables. This server was clearly not able to handle a 16 top table alone. We had to ask multiple times for a second basket of chips and refills. It took till 7pm to get a second basket of chips and the server said they are working on our food now, 30 minutes later she finally come around again and said our food should be right out. Finally at 8pm we ask to cancel our order and just bring us the bill which turned out to be 30$ for 2 small margaritas a tea and soft drink and queso that was runny. Went to the management about a 2 hour wait and not even an apology. So I couldn't tell you if the food was any good cause after a two hour wait and runny queso and only one refill of drink and chips I was ready to go. read more

My husband and I checked out the new location a few weeks ago on a Sunday evening. We shared the fajitas and had a few margaritas and everything was delicious. We had frequented the Pinhook location and knew the food would be good though. What stood out to us here (and actually the only reason I took the time to write a review) was our server Glynis. My husband and I have both waited tables at some point in our lives so we know what it takes to be a good server. This sweet lady MADE our night. She made us feel like we were VIP and somehow provided 200% service without making us feel "too" checked on if that makes sense. We will definitely return, and will always ask for Glynis! read more

This is mine and friends go to for great margaritas mostly and really good food. They have great service most visits (sometimes they have been lesser but most times really good) and about average prices as others. Place is really small so fills up fast when busy but they are pretty quick so the great margaritas make up for it in the end. read more

My mother and I came here for lunch and was not disappointed. Our server Brooke was friendly and always making sure our drinks were full. Very helpful as well, she made sure to ask if we had any questions about what we were ordering or if we wanted to change anything. Visited the restaurant on June 2. 2021, it was quiet and one other couple. We were quickly seated at the booth, very nice. Now after 8 minutes, someone comes to take our beverage drink. In the meantime another couple comes in and seated quickly also. They were automatically seen by the waitress. Within a minute they were given their beverage then we were given our beverage. We placed our order and also with a soup then the other couple order was taken. Fifteen minutes passed then the other couple received their order. Granted we ordered first and also had a side soup. We did not receive the soup or the order finally after five minutes no order we spoke with the manager. He called the waitress and she said I'm putting it on tray now. He said it's ready now. Of course we left. This is unacceptable, new in area, very quiet in the restaurant, lengthy wait, not serving customers in order and no customer service. read more

Nice small restaurant. Miles our server was very friendly. Food was ok, but nothing special. Your regular Mexican food place for lunch. Difficult to distinguish from other Mexican restaurants in the Lafayette area. Next time I'll try one of their cocktails. read more

We tried this place on a whim and were pleasantly surprised. The place was clean and had a nice decor. It looked new. The wait staff was exceptionally friendly and on top of everything. The salsa was weird; it made my tongue tingle like it was carbonated. And it wasn't spicy at all, and had an odd taste. My wife had the fajitas and they seemed pretty good (though she normally adds salsa to the fajitas, but skipped it here). I had the Vaca Rellena, which was supposed to have a "large anaheim pepper" but there was only small bits of pepper mixed with the cheese. The whole thing was topped with a yellow cheese sauce that tasted more like flour than cheese. My bean soup side was bland. read more

Absolutely horrible. We got our food to go since I had work to catch up on. Maybe the food is better in the restaurant? I can't think of any other reason why this place would be so busy. We got fajitas, grilled chicken salad and sopapillas. There was barely any lettuce In salad, it had no dressing so I had to supply more lettuce and my own dressing....this tends to anger people when you charge 10+ for a salad. My husband's fajitas barely had any meat, I guess I got it all in my 'salad'. The sopapillas were definitely not fresh at all and honestly it looked ghetto when we opened it and found 3 prepackaged containers of honey sitting amongst the sopapillas. I will include pics. The best thing about the meal was the chips and dip. Finally! Something that tasted fresh and had reasonable portions. We probably won't be back...if we do decide to give it one more try we will definitely never get anything to go again. I honestly have had better and fresher meals from Taco Bell. read more
