We were greeted upon arrival and asked what he wanted spent to the bus. Then we were asked to exit to Go to the lounge while they cleaned the washed the bus. They were very nice, polite and very prompt with service. The lounge area was clean, vending machines stocked and the bathroom was clean as well. They had a seating area next to the window so you could wait and look out. The prices were very reasonable. It didn't take long because they have a whole team that works well together and they did their thing!!! My husband was very pleased at a job well done. Blue Beacon does one of the best jobs washing tractors and trailers, but be careful coming to this Blue Beacon. They are usually understaffed and the wait time is always long. This visit they only had one wash bay open and it took over 2 hours to get through. read more

I have used Blue Beacon in many places and multiple times in Barstow. I have always been satisfied with the job done. The last time I was there they put their wash wand to close to my decals and it cut through them in a few places. The employee said they reviewed the video and my decals were not damaged when I came in and they were when I left. The employee filed an incident report with pictures I sent him. I received a letter from a field representative telling me my claim was denied. His name is Ed Mathews, he said they can not be responsible for decals removed or lifted during a wash. Ed goes on to say that any reputable pint or body shop will stand behind their work in the event of an adhesion problem. My RV has never been to a paint or body shop ever! The decals are factory and are in great shape. The RV is stored indoors and is like new. I can not believe BLUE BEACON WILL NOT STAND BEHIND THEIR MISTAKE! The damage was not their before I arrived at their business and it was present when I left. A VERY DISAPPOINTED EX-CUSTOMER IF THIS IS NOT RESOLVED!!!!!!!!! read more

How does this place have 4 stars???? Here is the picture of their truck "wash". I was arguing with them. You pay $85 for truck and trailer wash, not half wash! They don't wash under the trailer, they don't wash axles, they don't wash differentials, they don't wash under engine.... what more is there to wash??? Main reason why I stopped to wash it is the salt from the snow storm in WY. All the salt was left on the truck. Will dispute this charge for sure. read more

" WARNING" DO NOT TAKE YOUR RV TO THIS WASH!! They will screw it up and then don't want to do anything about it.Took my rv class A motorhome 2019 there while on the road on 9/29/23 to get a wash and wax, when my rv came out it was dull and finish stripped off completely. I brought it to the attention of the workers who was working on it but of course the general manager was off that day. My motorhome looked like something was sprayed or poured on it and left to dry looking like it dripped down the sides of the motorhome from top to bottom. It even messed up some of the decals. I filed a incidental report that day but it wasn't until the middle of October that I received a letter from Blue Beacon Ed Mathews Field Representative/Operations Kansas City office. Never heard from the general manager. In the letter Ed sent he referred to the incident as scratches being made from their equipment, then explained how their equipment couldn't have caused the scratches. I didn't file a report for scratches, I filed for the damage they did to the finish. I called to talk to Ed on 10/18/23 but was informed by Kaylie he was off that day and would call me on that Friday 10/20/23. Never heard from Ed until 11/16/23 after I called again and left a message for him to call me. Ed tried to convince me that they only washed my Rv with soap and water and nothing else. I informed him that I paid for a wash and wax and I had been there before and that it never happened like that. Ed then said they only use the best waxes blue coral and it couldn't have caused the finish to come off and that I need to have the oxidation removed. I informed him that oxidation was removed 2-3 months prior and a protective coating was on it. Ed then tried to tell me that every time you wash your Rv that the finish will strip off and you have to restore it again or have it painted,he said he's been with Blue Beacon for 30 years. So I told him I've been an Rv owner for 20 years and that has never happened even when I've washed it. Apparently Ed knows trucks and nothing about RV's, I knew that was bullshit!! I informed Ed that I had to pay $1500. to restore my motorhome back to its glory cause I couldn't leave it the way it was, he informed me that he wasn't going to do anything to compensate for it because he feels they did nothing wrong.. BAD BAD customer service!!! I already felt nothing was going to be done about when one of the workers asked me what they were going to do about it and I told him I filed a incident report, he then laughed and said good luck with it. Funny thing tho before I could finish paying for the wash and wax a worker came in and said my Rv was ready. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE WITH YOUR RV!!!! read more

I have been to a lot of blue beacons before but this one has a few more things that I like. I came this morning and pulled right in, I told the guy what I wanted and they did just that. It they also dry off you're truck and I had my tires shined as well. I will be back but my only complaint is that there was some soap left on in a few spots but they took care of it while they were drying it off. The manager also came out and did a walk around and noticed some spots the workers missed and they were addressed. read more

What a bargain! We paid $27 for the wash and another $9 for Rain-X for our RV. That's incredible. I pay more than that for a hand-wash for my dually pickup. The lot was easy enough to tow through. There were four (I think?) bays and the lines weren't too bad. Once it was our turn, we pulled into the bay and they closed the doors in front and behind and then four guys got busy washing our rig. The supervisor took me into the office to pay while they did the wash. The whole think took maybe 15 minutes. The guys did a stellar job. Our RV looks brand new now. All Beacon Truck washes are terrible but this one is especially awful. If you like the paint on your truck or coach, don't come here. They chipped paint off of my coach and then tried to tell me it was my fault because the paint on my 2 year old coach wasn't cured! No, their employee hit it with the metal water wand. read more

I use this truck wash almost every trip when I pass thru on 15. They are very consistent and usually very prompt. I was covered in salt this last wash and it usually takes more than one wash to get rid of all the salt and grime. I was pleased as usual with their service. I will be back just as I have many times before. Very friendly and the workers take pride in themselves that in my opinion reflects on great management of this facility!! This place sucked today. Initial guy approached and ask me questions about the wheels that ilI didnt understand and he could not explain. I then pulled into the wash bay after a 45 min wait and was ushered into the office to pay. Once inside i was asked if I wanted any extras. I was like what are the extras. After reading the board i decided pn rain ex and tire shine. I then approached to pay and the cashier and after she spoke tonthe guy whi escorted me inside they could not figure out what kind of truck I had because i disnt have a semi. They then ask me to describe my truck and it was determined it was a box truck. They keyed in into the computer and there was an option for a large box or small box. They charged me for a large, more $$$, so I ask the difference and they could not explain it. After paying I returned to my truck and spoke with the outdoor people about finishing the truck. I showed her my receipt and she said they would take vare of it. I returned about 10 minutes later to find tue windows and mirrors dirty and water spots all over the truck. I asked the guy by my truck if they do windows ans he said yeah for an extra 8.00. I explained that was never brought to my attention and I want back inside to pay the additional money After paying the additional fee I return to the truck only to find my windows and mirrors were still water spotted and at that time I gave up and drove off read more

We have used this location for years without incident. In September, every single one of our windows on our custom bunk were ruined, we think by acid and dirty brushes. We went through the claims process, as suggested by the manager, Ed. When that was denied we went up the ladder, to be denied again. We are just sick over this! We take extremely good care of our rig & now are stuck with horrendous looking windows. The mirrored finish is flaking off and there are very deep scratches from the brushes (that they weren't supposed to use on the windows.) We've never had an incident like this happen, and apparently they've never seen this type of damage either, but either way they refuse to take responsibility for it. So disappointing. read more

Stopped by after a long weekend camping in the desert to get my pickup and 35' 5th wheel washed. It was midweek after a holiday weekend and there was no one in line. The wash took about 12 minutes in total. The truck was spotless and the trailer looked good ,but I did notice a couple spots that got missed. I hit them myself with a wet towel and was good to go. I did buy the citrushine for the aluminum and I was surprised how good the wheels on the truck looked. Total cost was around $45 and I thought that was a bargain after washing the trailer by hand the last time. I plan on returning after my next desert trip. read more
