It is with great pleasure that I write this review on Blue Compass NV. We went in only to look at travel trailers and in doing so, we ending up purchasing a travel trailer. The customer service was excellent and each person we interacted with was nothing short of courteous. Alex, has been patient during the paperwork process, and though his job it is still appreciated. Jessica, our sales person is a Rockstar, she's been very helpful from the start of the viewing of trailers, and explaining the difference in trailers. If I can go back in time and not have purchased our RV from this place I would in a heart beat! I should have weighed out all my options before pulling the trigger! Buying it was easy but getting it fixed has been a nightmare! We purchased a 2026 trailer RV October 2025 And have came across a handful of issues. We have had our RV now in the shop "getting fixed" and missing out on camping trips all while we are paying for the RV to be sitting "at the shop" The staff this place has by far has the worst communication I have ever came across!!!! It has took me sending multiple emails to them asking questions and not even in the slightest getting the correct questions answered as they are incapable of updating! We purchased an RV from the company in 2019 and at the time it was called Blue Dog RV. Our salesman was great, our experience with the service department for maintenance was great, and we were overall pleased with the customer service. We have taken our 5th Wheel in for required maintenance annually since then, as well as for a few issues we had with our rig, and things were taken care of pretty honestly and timely. Enter BLUE COMPASS RV..the name of the company changed and the whole company went corporate or something, around 2023. Since this change over, customer service has been lost somewhere. We have STILL taken our rig for required maintenance to meet the requirements of our warranty, and for greasing the slides, and fixing the refrigerator and other cosmetic fixes. Our last two experiences with the service department have been rediculous because of a SERIOUS lack of communication on the part of the staff and techs This most recent experience was a SCHEDULED maintenance appointment. We brought our 5th wheel in as scheduled. Week one went by, no acknowledgement that the rig was in the service bay, how many rigs were ahead of ours to be looked at, or time estimates. Week two comes and goes, STILL no phone call or status notification. Week three comes to an end without any contact. As Week four gets underway, I contacted the service department, reaching out to see what was happening and WHY we haven't heard from them. The service department representative indicated they would find out and call me 'right back'. I had to call AGAIN after an hour, and find out from the rep that "the technician has been 'dragging his feet' to get to our rig" and that he'd get right to it". It took three more conversations by phone to get ANY information. Finally, my husband and I went down IN PERSON to the store two days later. Standing in front of the service desk, the rep was on a landline phonecall, but no eye contact was even made that someone was standing at the desk. When the rep got off the phone, they seemed to already know our name, (my husband comes there most of the time with other issues, so he may have been a familiar face) so still said nothing, even as they were on the company mobile phone, apparently letting the technician know we (my husband and myself) were there. We were walked to the service bay area, still in silence, rep was looking for the technician (who was at lunch). All the rep said was that the technician was ALMOST done checking things and that we could pick the rig up the next day. Lots of excuses, and no acknowledgement of our dissatisfaction. It took almost one full month to do a few hours of maintenance checking, WITH an appointment?? And because WE had to call to get the technician to start the job?? My BIGGEST complaint is COMMUNICATION! There was none! If a department has only one person working in it, I understand a big work load, but then, management should be hiring more people to share the load. Because of this, the carryover to customers is real! Changes need to be made! We purchased a "Forever Warranty" from this company, so it is only honored here. We did inquire at another RV company to see if we could bring our rig to them for service, but unless we want to pay the difference for the same service, we are stuck. Just in that inquiry, we saw quite a difference in customer service. I hope Blue Compass reads this review, and will look into some changes in their customer care. read more

So we bought a new grand design fifth wheel in Las Vegas. 8 months later and 2 very extend trips To the service dept.They mention various things including something with the refrigerator. but apparently they didn't repair anything. We finally got out on our first camping adventure going to Colorado for my sister's funeral. The lights don't work the air don't work the heat don't work the ceiling fans don't work the refrigerator. Don't get cold. Everything spoiled.. now would you want to do business with a company like that? I don't think so. so we're out money. We're out motel. We're out food. It's just ridiculous. DO NOT BUY FROM Blue Compass RV. My family bought a used trailer that was claimed to be in perfect condition. That was NOT TRUE. Within a month it had multiple issues, and after 3 months they still haven't fixed it despite repeated promises. My family is still paying for the camping trailer but we can't use it because they have it.The service is horrible, communication is poor, and the manager was unprofessional and RUDE she was giggling and telling the person that was trying to help us to not give us any help. 1 Star - Absolutely the Worst RV Buying Experience Blue Compass RV has been an absolute nightmare to deal with. We purchased a brand-new Grand Design RV in September 2024, and from the very first trip, we began experiencing serious issues. Within one week, the entire battery died, leaving the RV unusible. When we brought it in for service, we discovered multiple additional problems: trim pieces falling off, cabinets peeling, handles breaking (including the sewage door), and the interior panels buckling. We are now approaching March 2026, and these warranty issues are still not fully resolved. Our RV -- which was only six months old -- has spent approximately 4 1/2 of those months either in the shop or sitting unrepaired while we've waited for action. We have only been able to use it twice, and even then, the interior was literally coming apart. I have personally spent over 100 hours contacting Blue Compass and Grand Design trying to get this resolved. To Grand Design's credit, they have been attempting to push Blue Compass to communicate and order the necessary parts. Unfortunately, the service department at Blue Compass has been unresponsive, disorganized, and incredibly frustrating to work with. This has been a stressful, exhausting, and disappointing experience from start to finish. Buying a brand-new RV should be exciting -- not a full-time battle to get basic warranty repairs handled. If this review helps even one person avoid what we've gone through, it's worth writing. I would not wish this experience -- or the level of incompetence we've encountered -- on anyone. read more

DON'T BOTHER! Service representative Jackie failed at her job. Dropped my rig off at my scheduled appointment to have somebody look at my requested repairs and give me an estimate and projected turnaround time for repairs. At that time, I twice told the representative that I lived in the unit. By the end of the day, having heard from no one, I called to find out what was going on. My motorhome had never been looked at and had been placed in the back 40 so that someday somebody might actually take a look at it - who knows maybe a month maybe two? Terrible communication. Supervisor who came to clean up the mess was pleasant enough and apologized, which was something Jackie was incapable of doing. I won't be back. No thanks! Zero stars! read more

The new management is terrible. Less items are covered. Got Rv back damaged and no brakes. Maybe just the service advisor can't do his job. But also the maintenance was not done cleanly or correctly. I want to warn every prospective buyer about this dealership. It's too bad there's not an option to give 0 stars honestly. A few weeks ago we inquired about a trailer and Brooke reached out to us via text. Unfortunately the trailer we were interested in had sold, but she found another in Mesa, AZ that could be transported. She worked with Cody (West Coast VP) to get us a deal & we were told by Cody that the unit would be transported to Vegas on 1/30. That Friday rolls around and nobody has any idea where the trailer is - and Mindy, the Head of Transport is conveniently on a flight and unable to get an update. 1/31 I get a call from Cody that the trailer never left Mesa like it was supposed to, and that it would be instead departing 2/1. Mindy called shortly after to tell me that someone had messed up and the trailer was scheduled to be sent to California, but assured me she fixed it and rerouted to Vegas for 2/1 delivery. To no surprise, the unit did NOT get delivered 2/1 as promised, it came in 2/2. Wednesday 2/4 my fiance and I went to the dealership to see the unit in person, and let me just say, the photos from the AZ dealership made it look 100x better than in person. It wreaked of urine, trim was breaking off, the stove burner was broken and missing a knob and the door to the bedroom had a broken track. Brooke brought over Scott, the GM, who told us that all of it would be fixed and it would be ready to go Monday 2/9. You guessed it....fast forward a few days to Saturday 2/7. I get a call from Scott letting me know that the techs didn't finish the inspection until right before he called (mind you, Cody had told me it takes 5-6 hours for an inspection and it had been in the shop 3 days at this point), and there were multiple parts that needed to be ordered, so the trailer would not be ready to go on Monday. He had told me over the phone that he had given them verbal authorization to order said parts and confirmed that a Thursday 2/12 3pm pick up was a hard deadline. In that same phone call, he let me know that his parts manager would be back in on Monday, and although he (Scott) was out of office Monday, he would call me on Tuesday 2/10 with an update. Yesterday, I did not hear from him all day, so around 6pm I called the store to see what was going on. A female answered the phone and let me know that Scott had left for the day and was headed to Texas for training, but said that Jeremy would call me first thing in the morning today (Wednesday). The store opened at 9am, and by 11:30ish I still had not heard from Jeremy. I called the store and was told that he was in a meeting with service and would call me back. When Jeremy called me back, he proceeded to let me know that the unit still smelled like urine, despite having gone through detail, and he wanted to send it through detail again. He also let me know that the slide seal that was ordered/sent was incorrect and may not arrive until tomorrow 2/13 between 12-1pm. In that same phone call I was basically told that if the part doesn't show up on time we're out of luck and can't pick up at 3pm. I requested my $1000 deposit be refunded immediately (still have yet to see receipt of that as requested), and told Jeremy we were not going through with the deal. This is a huge warning to anyone interested in Blue Compass that the Vegas store/Cody/Mindy are horrendous at communication. Nobody is on the same page, and they're pros at over promising and under delivering. Out of all of this nonsense, I feel bad for Brooke, who is new to their team and just wanted a deal on the board. Thanks to the god awful communication and broken promises, she won't be getting that deal on the board as hoped. There's honestly not enough words to express the anger and frustration I have for this company. My hope is that not all Blue Compass locations are this much of a disaster, but it's pretty apparent that the West Coast stores need significant training. read more

We bought our fifth wheel from BC in 2025 and brought it in for an annual inspection and issues we were having and it was a colossal waste of time & money. First off their communication is horrible ! Our "service consultant" Jackie did not call us to inform us that a " new technician" destroyed our decal on the side of our RV while washing it. We saw it when we went to pick it up. Jackie had a give a crap attitude with no apology . They had to keep it another 2 weeks for the decal to come in and the new one is wrinkled in areas. The battery had 2 flashing lights which took 3 employees to look at to figure out why and the worst is they didn't correct what we originally brought it in for, which was dimming of the cabin lights. Nobody seems to know what they're doing at Blue Compass and their communication with the customer and each other is horrible! Once they sell you a RV they could give careless about you as a customer. We would NOT recommend purchasing from Blue Compass. We had a much better experience at Johnny Walker RV on boulder highway ! read more

Do yourself a favor, if you are looking for a new RV do not go to Blue Compass RV, their customer service sucks, they give you a badge that says VIP when you come to take delivery of your new RV which is a joke because everyone avoids you like you have the plague I guess because I already bought so I'm of no value once I have made my purchase and then they rush you through the walkthrough and shove you out the door as soon as they can get rid of you and if you ask for assistance on hooking up your RV your going to have to make a stink to get any help then it sayonara have a nice life. We are in the market for an RV or Trailer, but haven't made that final decision on which is the best fit. We went into Blue Compass RV as there is a location near our Henderson home. No one greeted us, no one asked if they could help. They knew we were there as we parked in front of the door. A service guy told us what area was for service and which ones were stock. Couldn't get into several models we were interested in. We went inside, a F/B sitting right next to a unit we went into. She never acknowledged us, I even made the comment that no one seemed interested in selling anything. I guess it was too much effort to unhinge her big behind from the computer. We went into another unit that was inside and still no one greeted us or approached us. A M/W sitting at another computer also ignored us. We decided it was best to take our business elsewhere. I can only assume they already made their sales quota or they don't need any other business. I would not recommend this business and don't believe all the Google reviews of 4.2, Yelp has it correct at 2.2, the owner or GM needs to put a foot in someone's butt. read more

Seth was great to work with and very personable but the company as a whole is not good. Went to pick up brand new Mav22 and it's missing items. No one has a clue what to do. Salesman too busy to even check on the walkthrough. Mind you it's a 30k investment and we were rushed through and made to feel like just get out. They also just put the trailer outside and that was the last we saw anyone while my veteran husband had to put the Weight distribution hitch on in 108° temperatures. Couldn't be bothered to even put on the temp. plate that I had to go hunt for. We were not treated like this on our previous trailer purchase from one of their competitors. DEFINITELY recommend going somewhere else and wish we had. read more

I would give 0 stars if possible. The most unreliable, unprofessional place ever. Save yourself the headache and AVOID this place at all costs. We purchased a travel trailer from there almost 2 years ago. A year in the slide stopped working, we dropped the trailer off either late July or early August 2023 for slide repair. I called every couple months to see how the repairs were going. I'd always get the same response "oh we're still waiting to hear from insurance" (RV Complete). Earlier this month (February 2024) we got a call saying the trailer is ready for pick up. Due to the lack of competence we listed the repairs that should have been done to confirm they were fixed. Tyler, the service tech, had to double check. He called back saying the slide wasn't fixed. I drove to blue compass, spoke to Manager Brandon and met with service manager Trent as well as tech Tyler. They reported that they sent approval request to RV complete in September of last year and February of this year. (Why that gap in between with my trailer on the lot with no work being completed). They explained that they couldn't figure out what part needed to be repaired because the slide would go out and they needed to force it out. Prior to forcing it, they needed to get approval From RV complete. Brandon said he'd personally follow up. Got a text message a week later saying RV complete denied the claim and it would be around $7,500 to fix. On Tuesday I received another text from Tyler stating that the claim was resubmitted and once again denied. I replied thanking him and informing him my husband would be picking up the trailer on Friday morning. On Friday morning my husband showed up to pick up the trailer only to be informed it wasn't ready. It needed to be put back together and they'd throw in a complementary RV wash. My husband was upset, shouldn't the trailer have been ready???? But left for an hour. Upon his return the trailer was once again not ready. After waiting for two hours he had to go, This place takes no accountability for their mistakes, gives you the run around, and hires incompetent people that can't problem solve. What should have been a wonderful purchase has really turned into a nightmare. It took 8 months (of me continuing to pay for our trailer note) for them to tell us the claim to fix the slide on a 1.5 year old trailer was denied. They couldn't provide documentation of how many times they followed up with the insurance company because as they put it "they've had a lot of changes" and some things might have been missed. There was also a change in ownership and employees and my trailer just sat forgotten in the lot. EXCUSES. No one knows what is going on and no one can give you direct answers. The RV complete coverage they sell you is a joke. Don't do it, every claim will be denied. 0 accountability, lack of professionalism, lack of empathy, take your business elsewhere. read more

Look elsewhere! We purchased our camper at a camper show. Before purchasing we made sure we stated we did NOT want the camper show model and we were told we would get a camper that was currently on the lot, not the one from the show. My husband took a picture of the camper vin from the expo and when we went to sign our paperwork it was the same vin. We stated AGAIN that we didn't want the model from the show. We had to redo paperwork a few days later for a different camper, but that was a pretty easy fix. When we took the camper out for the first trip the fridge didn't work. We contacted blue compass service department and we were told it was their "busy time of year" and they couldn't schedule our camper to be looked at for another month. (I wasn't happy because this wasn't normal wear and tear. This was a brand new camper on its first trip that had issues.) My husband (who is literally one of the nicest human beings on the planet) asked the lady on the phone what he was supposed to do on our next trip without a fridge. She responded "buy some coolers" (we have a 6 month old whose formula won't keep in a cooler for more than a few hours so that's not really possible. And again. I would understand having to do that if the camper was a few years old but this was a brand new camper.) I called back to get something scheduled and the women answered the phone with a sigh and a "hi David" I paused (because who answers the phone that way at work?) I eventually said "no... this is his wife. And we really need to get this camper in ASAP..." and she cut me off with "AS I TOLD YOUR HUSBAND WE CAN'T GET IT IN UNTIL AFTER JUNE..." I said "our next trip is June 20-23. It isn't like this camper is years old. It's BRAND NEW." "WELL THIS IS OUR BUSY TIME." At this point I was extremely frustrated and I made a comment I probably shouldn't have which was "well. Yeah. I'd be busy too if I sold defective campers!" To which she responded "I will NOT let you talk to me this way!" (Like she wasn't the one yelling at me) and hung up. She then immediately text my husband and told him to drop the camper off after this trip and they would get to it when they could. They've had it for 2 weeks now. They've diagnosed the problem and have the part on order (which is great!) but when asked about an ETA they say they have no idea. And they won't know until the part is shipped. Which could take a few days or could take "awhile". I find it odd they have no way of contacting the company they ordered parts from. What happens if there is a mix up/issue? There has to be some way to get in contact with the company? I feel like they are just doing all this on purpose now. We had several friends tell us not to buy our camper from Blue Compass- starting to wish I would have listened. read more

Absolutely terrible service from Blue Dog (now Blue Compass) RV service technician, Trent. He lied, mislead, and provided zero customer service throughout seven month ordeal. Finally had to just pick RV up and look elsewhere for a competent company. I had to cancel two planned trips due to his incompetence. Brought RV there for entry door repair (door got misaligned and wouldn't close properly). After a week of trying to get an update, Trent said a new door would have to be ordered. Seven months later it still hadn't arrived. Latest text from Trent said it was shipped 18 October; however, found out it wasn't. Their head manager, Jacqueline, was very nice and tried to assist. She said a door hadn't been ordered and would try calling company. She couldn't get through to door company and would have their body repair person look for an alternate solution and get back with me. That was over 3 weeks ago. Called today only to be put on hold for over 20 minutes, hung up, and called to speak to Service Manager. Spoke to someone only to find out it was Trent acting as manager, walking me through history as if he had no clue what had happened. Called back to talk with Jacqueline, Trent intercepted call and wouldn't put me through or allow me to leave message. This is definitely not the way to run a business. I'm very frustrated and would never recommend getting service there with Trent. read more

I purchased my first RV back in April 2023. After closing the deal we setup an appointment to pickup and go through the RV. When we arrived there were several major defects that should have been taken care before we arrived. The kitchen counter was cracked, bedroom ceiling falling down, several trim pieces on the ceiling peeling and cracking and toilet discolored. We refused to except this and they said they would take care of it ASAP. I called the service department after waiting for over a month and was told that some parts are in but others will take some time. I picked up the rig and waited for a call when the other parts arrived. After several months I kept being told the parts were on order. At this time I was assigned a new service adviser named Allen Poulson. What a piece of work this guy was. I would never recommend Blue Compass RV to anyone after dealing with this guy and his service manager. I had to bring the rig back because the water heater wasn't working. After waiting several weeks and calling numerous times to find out the status I was finally told that the heater was repaired and other parts still on order. I picked up the rig and then realized nothing was done and heater still didn't work. Allen nor the service manager would ever return calls. Fast forward to November 2024. I am told that the replacement toilet (which i had been waiting for since 2023 had finally arrived. I took the rig in and also told them that the water heater was still not working. I found out that Allen was no longer there and was replaced with Lily Reese. She is a pleasure to work with. I explained to her all the issues I have been dealing with as well as parts that supposedly have been on order for over a year. She listened to to what I had to say and said she would look into it. Not only did she look into it but she actually got results! She called me several times to keep updated on the progress. (This is something that Allen nor the service manager at the time ever did!) Lily was able to get everything on the list repaired in a short time. She allowed me to keep the rig there for a short while when my truck was having a transmission changed. She is great to work with, answers the phone and returns calls. Because of Lily, I have changed my opinion of Blue Compass in Las Vegas and will definitely return there for all my service needs as well as recommend her for all RV service needs. After speaking with the General Manager and Service Manager, both have promised that they recognized the stores faults, have continued to fail. Simply admiting failure doesn't mean anything to a customer waiting several months for work they were promised would take 2 weeks. Conflicting stories from the store and the manufacturer has lead me to offer them to just buy it back from me since they don't seem to want to get rid of it. You will be ignored once your money has been received. Again...just ignore this place. read more

I called all up and down the west coast and beyond for the best price on a Nucamp Tab 400 travel trailer. Jonathan was the salesman that I dealt with. He was extremely professional and patient, took the time to answer all my questions, and responded very quickly. I could tell that he was eager to make a deal. While the price I was quoted was not the very best price, it seemed pretty fair. As a result of the excellent service I received, I would highly recommend Jonathan and Blue Compass RV Las Vegas for your RV needs, especially if you are in the area and not willing to drive thousands of miles for a better deal. read more

Run in the opposite direction, FAST. This is an updated review. The sales experience was great. That's like saying the honeymoon was great and you didn't fight - just wait until the marriage. Service and repair are awful. And I have found out that this is the most important aspect of buying an RV. The first time I had it in, they called me that it was ready. Got there and they had not fixed the electrical problem, which was the main issue. Oh well. I am a forgiving soul so I left it. and then it happened a second time. and a third and, I am not kidding, a fourth. Four times they call me to pick up the RV and four times the same issue is not corrected. SMH Then a year goes by. The wall is separating on the inside. They fix it. But a few months later it has happened again so obviously they did not fix it correctly. They do not honor their previous work because it has been more than 90 days. Forest River says it is not their problem. The bogus insurance coverage says no because it is not structural. They had the RV for FIVE months. Dodged my calls. I even got the regional manager involved. That was a joke too. So I decided to go and pick it up. Now remember, they have had the unit for over 5 months. Two of the other things on the list are not fixed yet! Seriously!!?? They will mislead you. They will not return calls. They will not stand behind their work. There are many other places to consider buying from instead of Blue Dog. They should change the name to Lying Dog. read more

This place has gone down hill.. Took our new Thor Motorcoach in on 04-26-2023, after first trip.. as during the trip we discovered the refrigerator didn't work nor did the electric exhaust fans in the roof. Zero communication, they say they'll be returning the call "before we close today".. IT NEVER HAPPENS You call in, sit on hold "while we see if your service advisor is available" only to be told he isn't and waiting on the line isn't an option. They ask you to leave a message and a call will be returned. 10 weeks since being dropped off, and we get a call "it's ready" Today I show up, the covers aren't installed, there is literally dust and dirty throughout the coach to the point where the service advisor Trent said "let me sweep the coach out before you see it".. our chrome hubcaps are missing, parts to the fridge not installed and no explanation. They pull the unit around back again, install the covers and sweep the floors. Acting as if this was a courtesy.. This place needs a culture shift, and someone to go in and train the staff on basic customer service skills. We will be filing a complaint with Thor as well as the corporate office. read more

These guys are an absolute nightmare. I bought a trailer from them, and when I showed up to pick it up, it was not clean, even though they told me it would be detailed. So after three times, they finally had it clean, and I picked it up ever since then, they call, email and text me requesting that I can sign the trailer with them. Ron is the guys name. This is going to be a long one because so much has been done. Let go back to last August 2024. We went to Blue Compass to talk about a used Grand Design Momentum 28G that was in Avondale AZ. We signed paperwork and sales called Avondale to see if the trailer was still available. It was, so Avondale was told they had a buyer and to hold it. We go home and wait for phone calls. None came. After 4 days we start calling only to find out Avondale sold the trailer out from under us. We then got the Southern Regional Manager, Southwestern Regional Manager & Sales Manager involved. They did find us another 28G but it was in WA and had to be transported to Vegas. That took 3 additional weeks. When we go to pick up the trailer we had 5 days to register it. All because of when we signed paperwork which was 3 weeks prior to taking possession. When we pointed this out they didn't care and did nothing about it. When we took our trailer home we were told by their Sales Manager to take the trailer out and "use" it, make a list and bring it back for warranty repair before we had it a year. We did this 3 weeks ago only to be told most items were not covered under warranty. I didn't want to take it back to Blue Compass. We were only doing what we were told. But in true Blue Compass fashion, we were told one thing only to have them say something completely different. It shouldn't have surprised us. But one would thinks with the amount of money we spent not to mention the $10,000 extended warranty we purchased they would treat their customers better and hold to their word. This could possibly be the worst RV sales/repair shop in all the LV valley and 100s of miles in any direction. Not only did they take 6 months to repair a few things but when we got it back and opened it up a few months later we noticed damages and incomplete work. I contacted them and their customer service is as good or shall I say as bad as the quality of their so called work. There is a reason this place has two stars which I'm surprised it has that many, probably because you have to give at least one star to give a review. In reality this place deserves ZERO STARS and should be looked into by the BBB. Their employees are rude and cuss like sailors at their customers who just want to be treated like they spent $100,000.00 on a so called quality RV like we did. Do yourselves a huge favor and use a mobile repairman who respects you and your HARD EARNED MONEY. When I mentioned to the service manager I will be leaving him a nice review and contacting my lawyer he threatened to ban me from all @BlueDogRv I got a good laugh out of that one. So this is your warning. DO NOT buy or get anything serviced at BlueDogRV if so you will definitely regret it. Go with the guy who comes to you and needs your money. It's odd to start a review of Blue Dog RV with a review of the Yelp form. Regarding the first three rating categories, the Yelp form truly needs more choices than yes and no. I own a Grand Design Imagine for which Blue Dog is the local authorized agent. First, I am very favorably impressed many features of my "all seasons" RV with great insulation ratings on the ceiling, walls and floors. Now to the main point of this harangue. The plastic door supports stripped on my maiden outing to Lake Mead! You know the part that keeps the door open while the screen door allows awesome air but no pests. Whatever wind on that October day was enough to break this part. So last Sunday on my way back from Zion and Bryce Canyon, I searched Yelp's more info section which reliably lists store hours and found Blue Dog is open on Sundays. So I diligently drove there to find sales was open, but parts not so much. The comforting sales lady assured me that Monday the entire BD work force would be present. I went back Tuesday a little after 5 pm (7 pm closing time) except for parts who leaves at 5 pm. My Mexican temper lost it at that point, but fortunately an understanding sales employee Doreen Judd said maybe I can help. At the end, I asked her to transfer to the parts department. She showed me to the identical part, which I bought, plus I bought a metal, more durable-looking version. It would be easy and self-serving to tell BD to be there more often for their customers, but then again, I don't pay salaries. Just understand that we're open feels like false advertising when you're only part-open. read more

Would give a ZERO if I could. This place is a joke, they have gone through 3 managers in 5 months. I have spoken with Jacquilyn on numerous occasions and seem to get half ass promises. She hands things off to her current manager and never follows up to see how things are going. They have had my trailer for 5 months and I continue to get lied to, the run around and false stories. They blame it on the manufacture and when I call them they advise me some items were approved several months back and others have never been submitted. They have run my batteries down to zero, promise me they will cover them for replacement if needed. I don't trust this will actually take place. I would avoid this location at all cost. I'm going to work with the manufacture and see if they will allow me to use another location to get warranty items fixed. STAY AWAY AT ALL COST!!! Our salesperson was great, but service department (Derek specifically) cost them a sale on a new fifth wheel. We hadn't even finished the purchase and taken delivery and service was already screwing us around. No return phone calls, bs answers about ordering a part so we could take delivery of the trailer. We called to speak with the sales manager and we were hassled by the front desk saying we needed to talk to service. If we don't even own the unit yet, we're going to deal with sales. Again no return phone calls. If that's how they're going to treat us before we even buy the unit, imagine how bad it'll be after the fact. Steer clear. read more

Dishonest business damaged our trailer while on their lot for warranty work. It is impossible to get anyone on the phone. You have to call three or four times before someone will pick up. I can't believe how frustrating it was to deal with everyone there (except for the lying salespeople). We're still under warranty but can't bear to deal with them anymore. BLUE COMPASS RV. LAS VEGAS, NV Never ever do business with them. They misrepresent their products, lie to you and could care less about you once you leave. THEY HAVE ABSOLUTLY NO CUSTOMER SERVICE. They promised us a reimbursement check for $175 23rd October. We were told it would take 10 days to process. WE have been complaining dilligently " wheres our check?" Its now January 22nd, still no check. We had warranty work needed upon inspection...NOTHING has been done, ordered or rectified. But they closed our file. So we have to start over again. TheY do not answer their phones, we leave several messages with no return calls ever. We told our salesman that a DEAL BREAKER would be that this rig would have enough solar to power certain items, like a coffee pot. we financed the Rv on Oct 19th, took delivery of it the 22nd of October. When we did the walk thru, we inquired about the solar capabilities.... to our amazement. It would not do as the salesman said it would. It was too late to walk away because it was financed already for several days. They offered us a 12 volt coffee pot that cost roughly 40 bucks. But there is no 12 volt outlets. We dry camp at certain venues and thus why it was an important deal breaker. As crazy as it sounds. The sales manager told the salesman to appologise. And he did telling us that he was sorry, he was not familiar with the product line. That was all. The very next day we left the RV to get groceries. When we came back ( not even 24 hours of getting the rv) we find that the deadbolt broke in the locked position. We called the dealer and they were no help. They told us to use the warranty company roadside assistance. So we called them. They refused us service because they needed our contract #. It was locked inside. So we call dealer and ask for the contract # several times, and was told the guy that had it was in a meeting with customers and not to be disturbed. We asked for him to call back ASAP but he never called. 6 hours being locked out. We called a lock smith to drill the lock. We lost our cold items that we just bought, and we went back the next day to get a new lock assembly. We had to install it ourselves ot wait 2 weeks....we are not waiting 2 weeks to lock our door. They promised that we would be reimbursed $175 for the locksmith. The GM said it would take 10 days....she dropped the ball We started to complain and we were Told " its in the mail" ...... still no satisfaction. And we were told they would pay for labor on the install of the solar we require. Yeah that did not happen either. THEY CANT SUE ME FOR SLANDER BECAUSE ITS TRUE AND THEY KNOW IT. THEY ARE HORRIBLE. This place is not your friend. I bought a new trailer because I wanted to have the warranty. That means for a year I was FORCED to go to this inept and dishonest dealer for repairs. Short list... They damaged my trailer and tried to halfass the repair without telling me. When I called them on it, they agreed to fix it. Been 2 months and still not fixed even though they had me bring it in and they left it on lot for a month. They damaged my freezer door changing a broken speaker and lied to manufacturer saying it was damaged when I bought it. Then didn't put freezer shelf back in. I still do not have a replacement shelf a year later. They scratched front of rock guard removing battery and tried to lie about it accusing me of causing damage. This was the first month I owned it. They finally admitted they damaged it. A year later, still not fixed. When AC broke they told me nothing was wrong and tried to brush off the repair. 3 days later they called and said they would replace the AC. On one occasion they took my trailer in for a repair. For over 2 months I repeatedly called and left messages trying to get a status. I NEVER received a call back. (THEY NEVER RETURN A CALL...EVER!) I finally called Grand Design to complain. I was told my trailer had been repaired 2 months prior. I went into Blue Dog to get my trailer. They lied and said they had called several times. This was another blatant lie! I missed a whole hunting season. Overall, the first year I owned my trailer IT SPENT NEARLY 5 OUT OF 12 MONTHS AT BLUE DOG RV! No, this was not due to supply issues. Each time I dropped it off was after I would have to stop by dealership in person to ascertain if parts were in because THEY NEVER CALL YOU BACK!. It was their mismanagement and lack of any customer service. I have never dealt with a more incompetent and mismanaged dealership in my life! Buy used or choose ANY OTHER dealership to get an RV. BTW I love my Grand Design trailer! Yes, it's had a couple minor repairs needed, but Blue Dog RV has made the experience a nightmare. I am now in the market for an RV! I wouldn't buy it from Blue Dog if they gave it to me for free! read more

Worst experience ever with parts/service department and simple warranty repairs, we have been trying to get some minor issued fixed for almost a year. Total lack of communication, I have had to call multiple times a day to get any kind of status update. I would have given zero stars if possible. They have a great selection, buy here if you are able to go literally anywhere else for your service. I have never had such horrible customer service in my entire life. I am basically near tears at this point. read more
