I died and went to heaven today when I walked into Blue Corn Cafe. Service was phenomenal, and even though the line was long they were so quick. It is the day before Easter and they were cranking out treats left and right. We tried a cheesecake tart and it was seriously one of the best desserts I have ever eaten. My husband who is not a sweets fan ate so much of it ha ha. He could not stop saying how great it was. I'm kicking myself for not trying one of the quiches. We also ordered a hot Americano and an iced honey lavender latte. Both were phenomenal. Location isn't huge, but bright clean and has a good amount of seating to enjoy your treats there with a friend or two. We cannot wait to come back. So dang good! read more

They have a changing table in the restroom and a children's book section. Everything went well from the moment we walked in to the moment we left! We were happily greeted by 2 beautiful young ladies offering us samples of snickerdoodle cookies! Best snickerdoodle cookies I've ever had. OMG! They were wiling and excited to answer all our questions and if we had a question about a particular pastry they would say, "Would you like a sample?" I mean they didn't hesitate to make sure they offered us the help we needed. We had their made-from-scratch soup and they were absolutely delicious! It appears as if it's a small little cafe with very little standing room, however when you walk in you find a welcoming and spacious space to enjoy a cup of coffee and a wide variety of treats and fresh made bread. I have been here many times and always fail to take photos because I am too busy deciding what I would like to enjoy. The staff are friendly and happy to answer questions. Recently, I enjoyed an iced hazelnut latte with cold foam and a chocolate mousse dome. To die for. The coffee cake and jalapeño cheddar sourdoughs are favorites too, I look forward to trying a jalapeño cheddar sourdough grilled cheese with their tomato soup one day. Not this place, no sir! We got 6 different dessert or muffin items and they were all just so good. The consistency of their matcha cupcake is such a thing of beauty. And that sourdough, omg. Wonderful. I shared the bacon, spinach, cheddar quiche and also the tomato, fresh mozzarella, pesto panini (on their bread of course) with someone. Both of these items were so tasty. It's just such great "real food" tasting food- everything we ordered. I never like quiche, I just tolerate it for breakfast. This quiche though! The crust is something that I wish all my food was served on. I want crusty soup.. crusty salad.. I don't care. And the egg filling was a revelation. It was so custardy. I love custard but have never had the privilege of having it as a part of quiche. I always KNEW quiche could be made better! Check them out- the place is so cozy inside. Came in to get some cookies and (I think) the owner helped my friend and I out. He immediately had us take a seat and gave us a carrot cake to try as we decided what to order.
