Company left my pool green due to excessive algae and when I called the owner for resolution, they charged me for coming out to remedy the issue. Summary: poor quality of weekly service, unfair billing practices, no accountability for mistakes, no proactive communication, ignored phone calls.

    Our entire pool...GREEN!!!

I would say the same about "pool electricians" if there is such a thing. Dutch Guy Pool Service came out and evaluated our needs, explained what we needed our electrician to do first, and then came back and installed everything when we were ready. The install is great, the plumbing work is excellent as well, and everything was cleaned up and set up for us to use. In addition, I should mention that they showed up when they said they would, which is unfortunately rare these days. Highly recommend for your pool needs of any type... they are truly full service, knowledgeable and reasonable. We'll be using them to clean our tile next...

We had a continuous swim current placed along with our pool from Sierra Fiberglass Pools. The 'current' only lasts for at most 1 minute and 20 seconds - Not continuous as it is supposed to be. This started immediately at install. Matt is and has been completely aware. Yet, we were made to pay in full for this system and installation prior to it even being ordered. That actually is not legal. Then, Matt tried to put it off as a "warranty" issue. It has never worked properly. The buttons controlling it have also never worked. Matt tried to claim they worked, but I got in with a wetsuit to show that the buttons nor the current work. Matt has the buttons, yet, that won't fix the problem with the current. In addition, water is leaking from around the current and it was disclosed to us that there is a hole in our pool. Matt knew about all of these issues and chose to complete our pool instead of fixing it. When I wanted it completed, he threatened that, "I would not have a pool all summer long," if I wanted it fixed. When I asked Matt how he got our pool to pass inspection with the issues, Matt stated, "The inspectors don't have to know about that." Lateer, Matt claimed that, "some water can be around the pool and it will still get approved." Matt also left the swim system full of trash which is under water and completely exposes swimmers to whatever that trash is. I also had to continuously pick up garbage and hazardous stuff as we have a small child. While doing that, I found supports that were sealed in a package that said, "Warranty void if not used." - Nope, they were not used. This was after they put off our pool for months while they installed other pools. In addition, We had to fight with Matt, Jon, and Diane to have our concrete finished as agreed upon. They did not put it in our contract. I sent an email prior to signing the contract to be sure that the concrete would be completed. They agreed, yet, later when we asked when that was going to be completed, they stated that they did not agree to do the concrete as we spoke about and agreed to. The quality of the pool on top off all of the other issues is very poor. There is a plastic piece under the conrete that sticks out and has cut our guests. All of the caps around the lights in our pool have fallen off and cut our guests and children. The 'free' gate reversal failed. Our gate no longer works. In the end they took us to court as we withheld money because of the problems. They won as we paid up front for the swim current and withheld from a different "line item" on the contract. The other issues weren't even considered. Now, we are going to be taking other action. I like most people don't agree with paying contractors before they complete work. I hope this review loses you more money than the money you basically feel you can take from us without completing the work...or fixing the hole. Like I said - Run from this company. Unfortunately, Jan or Jon/Diane/Matt (there is no Jan at their company) your response sound as unprofessional and deceptive as you have been the whole time. It's Like all of the rambling emails yelling at us when we brought up issues escpecially agreed upon issues that you did not want to complete. I'll be happy to also post the court documents showing that you guys left a hole in our pool (yes, in our pool), etc. We are going through the Contractors Licensing Board, which is how we found out a lot of our information. We will be taking action. I hope you guys start to realize you actually have to follow the law, cannot do shoddy work, and cannot leave holes in pools. I was threatened that I would not have a pool all summer if Matt had to put the Badujet in and actually make it work. Also, he refused to fix the hole in the pool until after summer as well. The work on the pool started in August, yet, again, Sierra Fiberglass Pools went and did other pools instead of completing ours. The Badujet was here, I believe in October. Why wasn't our pool completed by June? 9 Months and you couldn't complete it? Again, the Badujet has never worked and you asked for payment illegally prior to ordering and installing. Therefore, we could not withhold money from that line item because it was paid in full. Yes, $14,000 paid upfront ahead of time. The remainder withheld was aroud $5,000 after finding out about the hole in our pool and Matt refusing to make the Badujet work properly. It's funny how Sierra Fiberglass Pools loves to lie their way through things. I am also uploading documents stating that they left a hole in the pool. Also, there is no defimation. You collected money upfront for installation of a working system that you put a hole in the pool for and "completed" the pool with the hole still there. Also, the talk of the 'landscapers' is funny. My wife and I attended a Premier Pool Open House at their offices with the intent to just "to…read morelook". We met Jeremy and he gave us an idea of what to they do, what to expect, and some light design options from the showroom. He offered to visit our house to make measurements so that he could create some design mockups of possibilities. Within a week or two, Jeremy sent us a "first look". We asked for a few edits here and there given we had no ideas where we wanted to go with it as we completely leveled our existing yard and kept nothing. We were amazed by the first drafts given that we didn't think a pool would fit in our yard comfortably. Jeremy was extremely patient with the design iterations as we played around with ideas. The designs sold us and we were all in! Initially we thought it would take 6-8 weeks for permits to be pulled after we gave the green light to proceed. They ended up being approved in less than a week and we broke ground about week later. Premier was extremely fast with their team of contractors and subcontractors from demolition to full completion. From breaking ground to filling with water was less than a three-month turnaround. With several of those weeks the result of Christmas to New Year's vacation and time it takes for various components like decking or pool interior to cure. Premier was great with communication in terms of letting us know each morning who was coming on any given day. Usually we heard from Jeremy and our construction manager Teo a day or two earlier than Premier's automated emails on next steps. While Jeremy and Teo were clear, it was nice to receive the emails to make sure we heard everything correctly. Pros: Showroom has too many option to choose from! LOL! From textures to colors, there was almost too many. They even recommended visiting tile shops if we wanted to explore other colors. Jeremy was extremely polite and patient. He was readily available by both text and email for any questions we had. Teo was also great at stopping by to check on progress and see if we had any questions. He was also readily available by text message. We had them install a specialty BaduJet Turbo Pro. We pointed them to the website and they took care of all specs to fabricate the pool around it, all additional electrical work, and all additional plumbing. Recommendations for Premier: It would be great if some of the subcontractors were brought "in house" to provide full wraparound services. We opted to install tempered glass so that the pool could be enlarged and moved closer to the house. But we had to coordinate that on our own with a window contractor. We will use their subcontractor to install rock facades on our house. It would be great if they could have done in under the Premier contract at the same time they were doing the pool facades. I get it, they do pools, not houses. Premier took care of all the electrical, water, and gas hook ups that were related to the pool. We had to work with a couple of the subcontractors on the side to add additional sprinkler lines and move some electrical wiring on the side. Those also would have been great if it was done under the Premier contract as well. Premier's contractors and subcontractors obviously knew what they were doing so they pool just kind of came together. It would be great if Premier had a larger portfolio album of actual photos of pools so that we knew in advance what we were getting. We "trusted the process" and it all came together, but I could see some clients desiring to know more in advance. We subcontracted out the construction of a custom kitchen island because Premier doesn't build them (again, because they build pools), providing subcontractors provides another opportunity for Premier to be full service.
