We asked them to come out this summer to figure out what was wrong with the finish and they told us they didn't know what happened . They offered no warranty on their work. They also sold us a spa cover, which sits in our pool storage area, unused since time of purchase as it's illegal for commercial pools like ours to use spa covers. Run from this company. They are dishonest. I should've looked at the rest of the reviews and avoided them. They stained the bottom of my pool and ruined it by adding chlorine through the skimmer instead of directly in the pool. It is such an eyesore. Mistakes happen and I gave the company a chance to remedy it, but instead the owner tells me that they didn't add from the skimmer. Meanwhile, not only has their pool guy told me he does, but I have seen him with my own eyes add chemicals through the skimmer. Long story short, they are liars and won't fess up to their mistake. Their solution was "well it's time to get it replastered anyway." If that was the case, the entire pool would've looked like this and been uniform, not just specifically around the drain in a very obvious chlorine stain all within a few weeks. Do yourself a favor, avoid the headache and go with literally anyone else for your pool needs. read more

Had nothing but quick chemical treatments weekly, for over a year, no issues, hence the two stars. Then pool pump stopped working, josh came by to see what was wrong (so he says) and sends me an $1800 invoice to replace. I asked if there was a more affordable option and if the whole thing absolutely had to be replaced. He was so extremely rude i was stunned and decided no matter who else i talked to i would absolutely not go with them. Called two others and low and behold, it was an $80 fix, NorCal pools fixed it less than 24 hrs later!!! Horrible way to talk to people, horrible business sense. They quoted us $1,400 for parts and labor on a new drive for our pump. I decided to look it up and ordered the part on Amazon for $650. It came the next day and I installed it myself in under an hour, saving us $800. I didn't even have to read the directions! I simply took off the old part and put the new one on. A matter of a few screws and 3 wires! We were going to use them for our weekly service but no way! There is a difference between making a profit and robbing people. read more

Aquatique took over service on our pool a few months ago. The service we'd had was inherited from old owners and we were unhappy with them. Aquatique has been wonderful! Very professional, prompt, and reliable. When our filter pump broke we asked them to do the replacement, which they were totally willing to do, but then they called and asked if it might be covered under our home warrantee- and it was! (The warrantee company contracted with someone else to fix it- not our choice.) So Aquatique lost out on some money just to help us out. Which just tells me they are interested in being honest and fair, and we could not be happier with their service. Highly recommend! read more

When we bought our house a few years back, we inherited a "pool guy" in the process and he was awful (arrogant and pushy). Shortly thereafter, one day at Home Depot, I saw a woman loading some stuff into an Aquatique Pool Service truck and asked for their business card (turned out to be the owner). She was super nice and when I called the office the next day, a cheerful voice named Rhiannon answered the phone. For the past three years, everyone at Aquatique has been kind, patient, friendly and very helpful, from the owner, to the technicians and the office manager. Wish I could recommend this pool service because the staff and pool guy started off very nice, but unfortunately I cannot. I will be perfectly upfront that I had not cleaned up dog poop over the weekend and after I apologized it, Josh immediately became condescending and aggressive towards me. I told him I was going to get out there and pick it up immediately, but made it clear that I was the customer and would not tolerate being spoken to in such a manner. When I went out to clean the area by the pool pump, Josh was gone. He left my pool cover off in a huge messy pile and he left my pump running. Thank God he actually closed the pool gate, since I have small children. No explanation. I called the office who told me a very different version of events (that Josh immediately called to report) and then called Josh, who yelled at me on the phone. And then texted me that he was "not rude" but actually polite. Maybe he thinks that if he writes that out, it will magically change the sequence of events. This company paraded around as "nice guys" and then, in my opinion, took advantage of me as a young looking mom at home alone, to get some sort of aggression out. I honestly felt as though I was being chastised by a father. It was absolutely humiliating. I'm really sad about this whole situation and just hope to save someone else from being treated so poorly. UPDATE: After mentioning I was disappointed in Aquatique's service on a neighborhood forum, they gave personal information out to a "friend" who tried to further their version of events and tarnish my name. Please be careful with this business. The only solace is the number of neighbors who privately messaged me to share similar stories. Update again: AGAIN. This is not what happened. He belittled me and spoke in a rude and condescending tone. There was no "request" and it certainly wasn't polite. To put it curtly josh was a complete jerk. Aquatique is very knowledgeable, professional and timely. We have a jandy pool system and recently purchased a variable speed motor. Aquatique and mainly Patrick have been the only person to make this unit work properly after the installation of the variable speed motor. The pool service who installed the pump and our previous monthly pool person could not get our equipment working for approx 7 months. We had past experience with Aquatique in past years and called them, In one visit, Patrick diagnosed our needs and the second visit, he installed and programmed our equipment and it is now working flawlessly. If you want your pool taken care of properly, use an expert like Aquatique. They are the best! read more

Aquatique pool service has been cleaning our spool filters for a few years and doing light repairs with no problem. This year however things changed. The technican first came out to clean the filters then I enquired about replacing them cause they were 15 years old. But even with being 15 years old they were in good shape. So the filters were replaced. Then all the problems started. First while the pump pressure was normal there was very little output from the jets. Second the spool was losing water every time the filter ran. Again neither problem existed prior to changing the filters. This was late May 2014. It took almost two months for another technican to come out and use CO2 to blow out the lines for the jets. He declared it a success. Unfortunately only two gets appeared to be functioning normally. As far as the leak goes he said to hire a leak detecting service. Again neither the leak or the low flow from the jets existed prior to changing the filters. The only saving grace is we dont use the spool anymore. All in all this experience with Aquatique has left a very bitter taste in our mouths and we will not do any more business with Aquatique. read more
