No pressure, which we really liked. All the rvs had prices and details clearly marked. We shopped a couple other places in Anderson that have some bad reviews, and the salesman was high pressure. After LOTS of looking we finally found our trailer at the Anderson TowTally camping. Christa helped us when we were ready. It was a smooth process, and they did negotiate down some in the price. The RV tech Dan was helpful going over everything with us, and he said the owners were good to their employees. It's our first RV and so far we are quite happy with our Rock wood mini lite.

I ended up talking to the manufacturer, to the charging system vendors and finally the lithium battery manufacturer, all their job. I negotiated getting the batteries replaced as well as having the manufacturer pay for the install. Luckily I could stay with a friend so I had a place to live. I was down 4+ months because of their incompetence. On the day I picked up my "finished" van the control pad that controlled all the RV functions wasn't working. Luckily my phone had an App that did the same thing so I left and had it fixed at another dealer when I got home (NC). Jess my service writer was very nice. However, he seemed to not read email or listen to his voicemail. Communication was horrible. I lost so much time because of his lack of follow up. Although BC/BD did the physical work, I did everything else. I was a 40 year supply chain and manufacturing guy so I was capable. I'm not sure someone who didn't have those skills would have gotten it done. In the end I asked Jess for email copies of the service record showing when the batteries were replaced. I've sent him 3 messages over several months to remind him. They never came. Par for the course. BC/BD was a horrible frustration.

Avoid Blue Compass RV Anderson at all costs!!!…read more I bought a used RV from them in December 2024 that was sold without disclosing serious damage compromising the structural integrity--making it dangerously unsafe to operate on the road. Multiple licensed mechanics have independently confirmed these severe safety defects. To make matters worse, the catalytic converter was illegal and non-compliant with California emissions standards - this was discovered getting another smog test only 8 months later, and was also reported to their team. SCAMS on smog tests - do not believe the documents they share. Their service department claimed they don't keep maintenance records, which is shocking and unacceptable for a dealer of their size and reputation. This level of negligence and disregard for customer safety is disturbing. Buyer beware--this dealership shows blatant dishonesty and a total lack of responsibility.

I guess if you aren't actively making a purchase, your calls no longer matter. I was able to instantly get a hold of finance before our purchase closed. I live about 5 hours away and work full time so really can't swing a quick pop-in, but might have to find an excuse to travel to Anderson to have my questions addressed. Maybe someone will get back to me after this review since nothing else seems to be working. Aside from this weeks-long run-around, the rest of my experience was great. Spencer in sales was awesome and worked quickly to help us with our purchase, always responded to our questions - even if he didn't have an answer at the moment, and really went out of his way in providing excellent customer service.
