An appointment was confirmed for May 28th between 2:00 and 4:00 PM. I received both an email confirmation and two follow-up text reminders throughout the week, which initially reflected well on the company's professionalism. In preparation, I rearranged my work schedule and took the day off to meet with the technician in person. Approximately two hours before the appointment, I received a call from Abby, the scheduling supervisor. She initially referenced an incorrect time window of 3:00-5:00 PM before I corrected her, and then informed me that the technician would be unable to attend at all. She apologized and offered to reschedule, noting the next available appointment would be seven days out, and suggested I was free to contact another company if I preferred. While I understand that scheduling conflicts can arise, the manner in which this was handled fell significantly short of acceptable customer service standards. Atlas AC had a full week to identify and communicate any scheduling issues -- proactive notification the day prior would have allowed me to preserve my time off. Instead, I was informed of the cancellation with only two hours' notice and no meaningful resolution offered. Despite repeated outreach, no one ever explained this or provided details of what was done on that second visit; I only received another invoice. After being ignored for months, I ultimately paid the second bill under threat of collections, not because the situation was ever clarified. The owner's follow-up came only after I posted this review, and even then, my questions about billing and communication were not addressed. I've been a customer for over five years and have always paid promptly once a repair was completed. My only request was transparency. They fixed it fast and charged me UNDER $270!! On a Friday evvening at 7 pm. when tech arrived. That's amazing. He also figured out how to unclog the downstairs sink which drained slow. No one else could figure it out cause it's copper pipes that are an odd configuration. Another time he sold me an air conditioner for about $9,000 less than others would have charged. He said it was an older model he had. It works fantastic as the house is older. Perfect match. I'm not saying they're perfect. But I've dealt with other plumbing companies who tried to charge me $10,000 for a problem they fixed for $300. HONEST is freaking hard to find.
