I was staying in Bethany beach and my boyfriend and I were craving some fresh sushi rolls. We found Blue Fish with a quick google search and decided to give it a try. We ordered sushi and house lo mein for dinner today and I am blown away by how delicious everything was. The lo mein was full of flavor with lots of shrimp, chicken, and veggies packed in there. I got 2 of the specialty sushi rolls which were both 10/10 - red dragon roll and the Hawaiian roll. Got a side of spicy mayo too which made it all even more perfect. As promised, we stopped by Blue Fish for another meal while visiting OC for a long weekend. We stayed at the 9400, which is right across the street. The restaurant was very busy for Saturday evening. They were hosting a small wedding reception in the outside patio area. Blue Fish doesn't accept reservations but we were able to get seating after a short wait. The staff was pleasant and friendly. For starters, we ordered the Lobster Roll, the Kato Roll, and the Shrimp Tempura Roll. The sushi was fresh and delicious. Our new favorite is the Mega Lobster Roll. For entrees we ordered our usual Beed Drunken Noodles, Spicy Shredded Beef, and General Tso's Chicken. Again, the food was spot on. The dishes were flavorful. The General Tso's Chicken and Shredded Beef were crispy and perfectly tangy. Highly recommend this place. You won't find a better restaurant offering Asian cuisine in the OC. read more

Visiting town for the week of my daughter's birthday. She loves sushi so we have this place a shot based on reviews. (Thank you fellow Yelpers!). When we walked in we were asked to scan a QR code to request a table. Once registered, we were able to track the number of parties ahead of us. While registering, we were also able to indicate our daughter's allergies. We were seated quickly at a nice table outside. When our server, Ken, greeted us, he already knew about the allergies. He was very attentive and brought chopstick grips for the kids. Our party of 6 tried a variety of rolls, sushi, edamame and General Tso's tofu (that was my order and it was delicious). Also had a yummy lychee martini. The prices seemed reasonable and the presentation was lovely. Highly recommend Blue Fish. read more

I wanted to try this restaurant for sushi after reading good reviews. The ambiance was cute including a nice outdoor patio. I got the shrimp tempura roll and although the presentation was great I unfortunately didn't particularly enjoy it as the shrimp appeared over cooked and it was very hard and chewy. My friend did however enjoy her spicy tuna roll! We also got the shumai appetizer which had a great texture but wasn't very flavorful. I did enjoy the yellow curry though. I would give this restaurant another chance in hopes that I just got a bad batch of shrimp. Our service was quick but there were only a few other people in the restaurant. read more

We used to love Blue Fish but the last 3 times the quality went downhill. The food was rushed out to us and unfortunately it was not cooked, I had Chicken Broccoli and the broccoli was raw and the chicken on the edge of raw, another dish was general Tsos and the chicken was cool, this is the third time, I don't mind waiting for a few minutes for quality food but a $90 bill with tip and two of the three meals where undercooked. We checked in for a party of three and were told about 40 minutes. We actually were seated in about 18 minutes. It got better from there because the server was very efficient and worked really hard because it was in season. We're never disappointed by the Chinese Food, but this time we had sushi rolls and again best sushi in Ocean City. . Some might say it's a bit expensive but in Ocean City you know you're going to pay more and nothing about the visit disappointed so highly recommend. The Mango Shrimp was perfectly cooked, shrimp were hot and tasty with a very light batter, and the sauce was perfect. The Hawaiian Roll is one of my favorites, tempura coconut shrimp with cream cheese, avocado, topped with coconut and a mango sauce. We have been Blue Fish fans for many years. Dine in or carry out, it's top choice for Asian, Thai, Chinese, sushi here in Ocean City. Very convenient. Plenty of parking. Nice outdoor space. We have a beach condo close by and always make a stop here when we're in town. Service is consistently great. I've had their sushi before, and it has been good. My friend and I decided to try the chicken pad Thai. This was the worst pad Thai it was "soupy" and lacked the underlying flavors in Thai cooking. The menu said the chicken pad Thai was spicy and it was NOT in the least. The flavor did not suit my palate. There was no treat to my tastebuds with this chicken pad Thai. Come for the Sushi but Never ever this pad Thai. The chicken tasted boiled, and the flavors were off. Bland tasting. The peanuts were of a powdered consistency....not sure what's up with that ? I could have sworn I had reviewed this place before, but I'm old and my memory might not be what it is used to be. I also had some crazy life events in the latter part of 2018, so who knows what did or did happen?! Did I even go here? I know I did. I have photos to prove it! An unnamed person and I wanted to have some sushi for dinner while down the oshun hon. I scoured the reviews on here, and found a lot of places that were rated well. So then I started narrowing it down on what the place looked like - we were looking for something that was a little nicer but also kinda weird. Blue Fish nailed it on my criteria...and the idea that I could make endless Dr. Seuss puns while there certainly didn't hurt. We had some cocktails and sake, some sushi rolls (uramaki style), and some nigiri. ALL of it was good. I had tuna nigiri, and Unnamed Person had salmon sashimi nigiri. We shared a Long Island Roll, which was an amazing blend of seared tunam seaweed salad, mango, wasabi mayo, and avocado! Mmm! Hit the spot! The other was an eel & avocado roll, which was nothing fancy or different from anywhere else, but was great...a good staple of sushi. When me and my family walked in, the ambiance/decorations were great. We quickly got seated, and got served wontons that were to die for. My parent's entrees came within 15 minutes, but the sushi I ordered took kind of a long time. Even though it did take a while, it was definitely worth it because the Philadelphia rolls were superb. There are not a lot of options for good sushi at the beach surprisingly, and this is one of them! The ambience was great. The food was delicious. The salmon avocado roll literally melted in your mouth. The only thing is that this place is a little bit pricey. One of those pictures is a fried pork and crab mixture in tofu skin. It was one of their specials and it was amazing, unlike anything I've had before. It is not pictured, but we also got Singapore noodles which had a curry sauce and they were fire as well! read more

Amazing unique rolls! Came here on a Wednesday night and were seated and served quickly. Kind of impressive how fast the rolls came out. Favorites include the Spider Roll that features soft shell crab (I think it was tempura fried, which was unique, but I'm a sucker for soft shell crabs anyway). The Alec Roll was huge and tasty, topped with crab and like a very depressed up California roll. As was the Maryland roll, filled with real crab and a dusting of Old Bay. We also got the spicy roll combo, which was a pretty good deal and not too spicy. The pieces were large, portions generous. Our server Sam was so prompt and efficient. Thought it was cool how they took orders on iPads. Super cute stickers for advertising also included! I have to find a place to stick them. Interior dining experience is beautiful. Decided to give this place another try. Ordered some steamed dumplings, pad thai, chicken lo mein, Lovers Roll, Godzilla Roll and Mega Lobster roll. Everything was good taste-wise but it was the soupiest pad thai I've ever tried. If you want the traditional stir fried pad thai, I would not recommend ordering from here.
