The service provided by Blur Haven Pools was outstanding from the scheduling to the repair. We had an issue with our spa heater. The professionalism provided from the entire team was fantastic. We expected to have an issue but when we called they were courteous and responsive. The technician quickly identified the problem and was able to repair it on the first visit. He also found other problems we were unaware of and took care of that as well. Overall we are completely satisfied with the communication from the coordinator and the service tech. Everything about this company is GREAT!!!!!. From the initial design to the post construction service; this company was there for me every steps of the way. Geoff was the initial architect and sales person and he did not hesitate to try and help me out by amending the contract terms when I had issues with the mortgage company (fortunately we did not have to). He was very knowledgeable about pools and me being a newbie; I need the guidance but the most impressive part about Geoff is that he was not trying to sell me items I did not need or want. We had a great working relationship and concluded on a design that I love. Then Starr took over once construction started and I thought that Geoff was GREAT and I may not be so lucky during construction but OMG was I so wrong. Starr was fantastic and if I had a job opening in my company then I know who I would be begging to work for me. The communication channels were what I would expect and more from a company that is building something for you with a significant investment. There were a few hiccups along the way but Starr was always there to pickup the pieces and make things right even when those hiccups were on my end. Starr did not have to provide services and advice to me after the pool project was complete but I never need to worry abut asking anyone else about anything related to my pool. I will be doing an outdoor kitchen and landscaping project soon and my first quote and option is definitely going to be Blue Haven Pools even though this is not necessarily their bread and butter. Overall we had a good experience with this company. The pool was designed awesome. Art was AMAZING !! I would recommend him. dealt with the superintendent and had some pushback initially but ended up compromising and getting a desired outcome. Everything went smooth but I finally got hit with "that's not our responsibility" when the grading/leveling of the leftover dirt was more than when we started the project. That is the reason for the lower rating for the Superintendent. One other reason not a 5 star experience, is because when you get to the 1st day of demolition, that's when you get hit with a checklist/signed agreement that states the "homeowner" is responsible to basically put your backyard back together at your own cost. So they dug holes and channels all in the dirt to put the piping and electrical. Well they ripped out the already installed turf and removed all the decorative rock and pavers to do so, after the pool is built, that's on you to put back together. It won't be done by the pool company. I should have asked this question way ahead of time and worked something out. That partially on me for not asking and not understanding. In the end I did get some aide/compensation for being burdened as such. One other reason for the lower rating is they installed a "cool deck" with a textured finish, well 1-2 weeks after application it stained from rain and weather. It had dozens of nicks and gouges from walking, placing down common tools, using a stepladder etc. and now I can't get a proper sealant and have to deal with calling the company out every month for warranty work and that's a 2-3 days cure time which interferes with swim time/fun time. I asked for a sealant job from the pool company and was denied. So I have to deal with an inferior product with unknown longevity. read more

Never once made me feel like I was interrupting them for any questions that I had. If I was confused on something they would walk me through it and help me understand. Well Blue Haven you don't disappoint, found it out cement is coming apart now , not even a year old. I discourage everybody from using blue Haven pools. Plus they will not warrantee anything anymore since we purchased from a different homeowner but the pool is not even a year old yet. It's ridiculous this whole process don't buy blue haven pools. We contracted for our pool to be built in 2014. Blue Haven opted to subcontract the Solar Installation. The panels, after years of needing repairs, were determined to be defective. Blue Haven refused to supply the original MANUFACTURER'S warranty information (purchase date, etc) so we could file a claim. It took a BBB compliant just to get the Manufacturer's name. We had to replace the system at our cost. If you choose to get your pool with Blue Haven, I STRONGLY recommend that you demand the documentation for ALL the components they install as they will not provide them when the need arises. read more

My grandma was getting a pool last year, she put her deposit down, then Covid hit and everything got delayed and pushed back. They have the most rude and absolute worse CS I have ever experienced and that's saying a lot these days since CS deostn't seem to be at the top of a lot of company's priority lists. From start to finish (6.5 years later), no matter when I call, I get attitude, short fuses and excuses. The 3rd party contractors they use are substandard. Crack in my leather grantie BBQ countertop 2 years in, LED pool lights that only last a could of years, and a very very uneven tile all around the deck area. Do not hire this company we have been waiting for our deck to be repaired for over 2 years. It's been repaired 8 times and still looks like crap. Now they are refusing to finish the job. Some parts have 7 coats of paint and some have 1. Our pool is not completely done but we are about 98% complete. We did run in on some issues during the construction phase with the long wait time in between crews, materials that are out of stock , miscommunication about the initial plan for pavers, restocking etc. At one point, it also felt like it was taking forever to finish. However, I am very thankful for the people who went above and beyond and tried their very best to update me every step of the way or at least respond promptly to my inquiries. Thanks Karen for guiding me through the initial process during the first part or phase of the construction. Shout out to Keith for going above and beyond to help me find trim tiles so the plaster sched will not have to be moved. Thank you so much! Big thanks to William for making sure the inspections are done promptly so we can move forward to the next phase. He made sure that we understood the whole process and was very patient in answering all my questions. Grateful for Leaha and Richard of the servicing and warranty dept, for being so quick to respond to our questions and concerns when the water level in spa came down to almost 1/2 after pool setting was changed and some marks on the plaster. We hope that no issues will ever come up again as we yet to have our owner orientation. It's just good to know that they are there to ready to answer questions and concerns to help ease our worries. We contracted with Blue Haven to build our dream swimming pool, complete with waterfalls, swim current and jacuzzi. The plan they devised was amazing. During the construction phases, everyone was customer service-minded and highly professional and the end result was a gorgeous pool! The COVID pandemic slowed construction operations quite a bit (3 month delay) but we were patient (for the most part). Wooo Woooo wooo , all aboard for the excuse train. Actually it has turned into the LIAR train. They show up to work, for an hour? then show up late on mon. and work for 3, next day 4. No wonder they say building a pool takes time, they don't work. Then they tell us they have to get more rock and have to go out of town. Problem is , the rock was not for MY pool. They show up 2 days later with NO NEW PRODUCT and work for a few hours. Now it is uh, um, the mortar needs to cure. Funny it did not have to cure from mon to tues. BTW, NEVER have them build a water feature, sub it out later. Actually, I am now saying NEVER USE BLUE HAVEN POOLS. A few months back, after purchasing our new home in 2019, we began our search for a quality pool builder. Having had pools built in several previous homes, albeit in California, we had a good idea of what to expect in a quality builder. After doing our due diligence by obtaining estimates from a few different builders and reading through countless customer reviews, Blue Haven quickly reached our short list. Although Blue Haven's prices were middle of the road as compared to competitors, they were competitive when comparing included features. We noted that most of their negative leaning reviews dealt with completion times. Fortunately, from prior experience with contractors, we knew that completion estimates are just that, best guesses. We knew going in that there are almost always delays, especially when dealing with anything that is custom, delays ranging from sub-contractor delays to delays with inspections and material suppliers. For anyone wanting an instant pool or as close to instant as possible you may want to consider a fiberglass pool, above-ground pool or something similar. We could not be happier with Blue Haven as our ultimate selection. From design with Geoff Christoph, financing with Nancy Miller, construction coordination with Elaine O'Neill, service coordination with Leaha Buchanan and start-up with Richard, Blue Haven has been a class act. The entire process took about three months, but in the end, the attention to detail is apparent. Project Manager Sergio was always on top of things, keeping sub-contractors honest, with a keen eye on delivering a quality product. As the project moved along, Blue Haven staff kept us in the loop and quickly responded to our questions and calls. As mentioned above, those who want an inexpensive and very fast install may be better served with a pre-fabricated fiberglass pool or an above ground pool, otherwise, I would not hesitate to hire Blue Haven again and would not hesitate to recommend them to family or friends. read more

I had my pool built last year. What a great experience from day one. I met with Geoff at my home to go over designs. I told him what I had in mind and he brought it to life. We sat down and went over his 3D design. Once I decided on that it was off to the races. I asked it they could hit a deadline because we wanted to have my son's birthday party be a swim party. They Are only there to help you while your pool is being built and you still owe money. As soon as our pool was finished and paid them off, they no longer wanted anything to do with us. we had a couple of problems. Like cracks in the cement they told us since we didn't have cement painted with water protection it was not their problem. Our pump went down and they blamed the people who made the pump. and they said we needed to get in touch with them, but it ended up being an electrical problem that their guys worked on. they always blame everybody else for their mistakes. Project was supposed to start Sept 5. End of Sept and not even a call. Finally in Oct they showed up to start digging after several calls from us to them (had to chase them every step of the project) Now it's NOV 27 job still not complete and was supposed to be done by NOV 7 NO end in site. Paid every step as per contract except last payment. Held last payment because there was a hole in the side of my house and awning colors were wrong Next thing I'm getting calls saying no chemicals or job finishing until payment received. The heaters not hooked up the spa is not finished no remotes for lights or system no instructions on how to run the system. Check is sitting here waiting but not giving it until job is completed. Already paid over $48,000 and holding the last $5,000 until they complete their end of the de Told them when the last steps where finished I would give them the final check. Still no resolve Customer service is so bad I have no words to describe it. If they gave me every penny back I would not recommend this company. Signed the contract with them Aug 3, 2017. It is now Jan 24, 2018 and pool is still not ready to use. This is a good example of the heavy handed tactics that Blue Haven uses. My last payment was never refused only held until work was done. They proceeded to put a lien on the house and refused to do the work until I filed a complaint with the Contractors board then miraculously people started showing up. I am buying a new home in Summerlin, that started out as a dirt lot. I wanted a pool. I'm in the middle of a divorce. I went to meet with Mike, of Blue Haven pools. I spent an hour with him at his office. I wanted him to send me the design and he said, "It's proprietary I won't" so I said, "Ok, you're fired." Then he decided to sent it. It was not at all what I had wanted. He said,"Let me talk to your husband" and I said," I don't have one." Mike seemed uninterested after that. I would never use Blue Haven here in Las Vegas. Our whole experience with Blue Haven was great at the beginning and for a majority of the time. The sales person was awesome, as well as the office people. We are now waiting on the last step, plaster. We understand there is a delay with the plaster companies right now, but the communication has been horrible. One of the employees, Keith, is so rude and has the worst customer services skills and should not be communicating with customers at all. Every time we talk to somebody in the office we get different answers. Our pool has been sitting for a very long time ready to go and nobody can give us any answer on when it is supposed to be completed. Just want to thank Steve for not calling us back. We had a problem with the decking that they covered our concrete patio that they applied. It cracked in less than a year. They repaired that. Then it lifted and cracked in another spot. I was told it happened because my concrete was 10 years old. They never mention that might be a problem when I paid 2600.00 to have them apply Sundek to the concrete. They want about 3500.00 to fix 485 sq. ft. Had I known it would be a problem I would have covered patio concrete with something else. It's too bad we like our pool. I have had two families ask about who installed. Do NOT EVER use Blue Haven to build your pool! This has been the WORST experience I have ever lived through. Our build started in May and its now December and our build is not done. They don't return calls, they conveniently step out when you try and call, if they do call back it's often days later. Of our 3 construction managers, Sergio was the best. He usually returned our calls in a timely manner. Elaine and Leaha were the worst with Elaine completely ignoring most of our calls. Our build was hit with delay after delay after delay. There was always some excuse that there was a material shortage or a worker shortage, but we only received this information after months of waiting and many unreturned phone calls. Today, December 3rd, our equipment was finally scheduled to be turned on, only for the Blue Haven tech to show up and tell us our parts for the fire pit and spa were on backorder. I would like to know why our parts are backordered now when the build was started in April, and our spa jets chosen in June? Why weren't the parts ordered in advance so we could use at least part of our build after 7 months of construction? And we should have been told of the backorder WAY before our scheduled startup day. Geoff was our pool designer and he was great and thorough. Gave us a great recommendation on the pool design and that's what we ended up going with due to his multiple years of experience, he knew what would look and be best for our yard. The whole time it took to build all the vendors were great and Elaine in the office was especially great. She was on top of everything at a moments notice very professional, and friendly. Had our pool started January 2019 and completed April 2019. Professional and finished on time. I did notice recently there was not a drain put on the decking so when it rains or I spray off the decking, it runs back into the pool. If I had to do it all over again, I would definitely make sure that was installed. read more
