Dinner was wonderful at our Snowflake Lodge Restaurant. We enjoyed the vegetable terrine (added chicken), chicken Parmesian, and Mac n' cheese filled with lots of lobster! The place was packed and we were happy to have a table and enjoy our wine (no corkage fee). I love BLS!

Thank you so much for a lovely dinner!! It is always a joy to eat here. We got the Ribeye steak (well done) and the chicken risotto, plus the orange/beet salad, and then the creme brûlée. Delicious meal. Fantastic service from Karen, as always. So warm and friendly, lots of positive energy and kindness. This restaurant is always welcoming, no pretentiousness. Our servers checked up on us regularly asking if we would like water or more fresh bread (Karen even offered us freshly baked bread right out of the oven, amazing!). We brought a bottle of wine with us and they offered to get us a cooler. Very considerate! Thank you. The beet/orange salad was mouth-watering - beets were huge and full of flavor. A very nice, tart vinaigrette complimented the sweetness of the beets. The steak was huge and a topped with thick slices of cooked mushrooms. The carrots were fresh, flavored lightly with parsley. The chicken risotto was creamy without being overwhelming/heavy. Thank you so much for this great dinner. Coming here is always like having dinner at a friend's house (who happens to be a fantastic cook)!

Salmon "Mystery Dinner" on their specials. It was excellent and came with salad and dessert.

BYOB! OUR OWN WINE WITHOUT CORKAGE! We've been coming to Blue Lake Springs for decades and this is the first time in the restaurant. We had reservations for a small group and everything was set. The place itself is modern and spacious with outdoor seating if you want. We ate indoors since we didn't want to get eaten by the bugs or share dinner with the bats. Anyway, the meal was very nice. We had the "Mystery" meal and of course you can decide if you want it. Basically it's the chef's special that's not printed up but of good value. We had the salmon dinner that came with salad and dessert. The salmon was fresh and nicely seasoned along with mashed potatoes and vegetables. Our friends had the filets and the kids had the pizza. Everything was nicely presented and tasty. The service is professional. We were greeted by the hostess and seated right away. The waitress was really nice and took time to explain all the dishes offered, including the Mystery Meal (I think it's a chef's surprise that is priced very well). The ambiance is modern and not packed. The kitchen is able to prepare the individual plates within a reasonable amount of time and presentation is excellent. The free sodas is a help yourself bar. This was a hit for the kids. Bringing your own wine was also a bonus. Other patrons brought hard liquor and beer. Who would have known? Overall, it was a great to have a very nice meal in a very nicely appointed dining room with very nice staff. Like I said before, coming here for over the decades and I thought this place was a secret clubhouse for seniors with the special handshake to get in. WRONG! It's open to the public at BLS (need to give the lot number or address) and you don't have to show any special cards, except a credit card at the end of the meal.

    Prime Rib

Dinner was great! We had the Prime Rib, cooked to perfection. Cesar salad, baked potato and green beans; "delicious". I don't quite understand having to get your own soda's?? Which are limited to Sprite and coke. Ice tea would be a nice option. When making the reservation; we should have told to bring our own alcohol or explained it isn't served. We'll definitely go back, but we're bringing wine!

What an incredible first visit to Taste in Plymouth!…read more The restaurant itself is cozy, beautiful, and has such a welcoming atmosphere. From the moment we walked in, the service was outstanding. Our server, Bessie, was absolutely amazing, kind, funny, and so helpful in answering all of our questions during our first visit. Now, onto the food! The appetizers alone could have been a meal. The Caesar salad was one of the best I've ever had, and as a girlie who doesn't usually love soup, I have to say the corn soup my husband ordered was delicious bursting with flavor and perfectly creamy. My husband chose the burger with truffle fries, and they absolutely nailed it. The bacon jam, arugula, goat cheese aioli... every bite was incredible, and the fries were amazing. I had the steak with scalloped potatoes and carrots, and as someone who typically likes her meat well done, I can honestly say this steak was excellent. Dessert was mouthwatering and packed with flavor. The pricing was also very reasonable for the quality of food and exceptional service we received. We visited on Saturday, the day before Father's Day and two days before my birthday. Not only did they personalize my dessert with a birthday message, but they also surprised me with a birthday card signed by the team. Then, just five days later, a handwritten thank-you card and birthday wishes arrived at my home. That is the kind of service that leaves a lasting impression. Thank you, Taste, for such a memorable first experience. We will absolutely be back!

If you enjoy fine dining, you must try this place in Plymouth, California…read more When you walk in, it is quite busy and loud in the main section of the building, but seating for dinner is in a room behind that and as much quieter. Service was impeccable. For dinner, you can choose a three course or five course meal. We chose the three course which includes one small plate, one large plate, and dessert... We also added the wine pairing. The mushroom cigar was to die for. I ordered halibut for my main course. It was cooked to perfection. The hint of tarragon in the vegetables was delicious and the risotto ball was excellent. I always order Affogato. Unfortunately I forgot to order decaf. It is currently 12:30 AM and I am still awake, but it was so worth it.

Came for the burger :)…read more My husband and I live in the East Bay and wanted to go on a lil drive. We decided on Murphy's for the Watering Hole burger which did not disappoint. We ordered 2 Double Cheese Burgers, the Broccoli Bacon Ranch Salad and an order of French Fries that included a side of ranch. All of what we ordered was delicious. The burgers come with double patties and are grilled along with the onions, the bun lightly toasted, soft and sweet and included a smear of 1,000 dressing. The burgers have 2 different types of cheese, fresh crispy shredded lettuce, pickles and sliced ripe tomato. It is the perfect combination and proportions of all ingredients. The Broccoli Bacon Ranch salad was not like anything I have had before and was a nice surprise to our taste buds. The salad included fresh bell peppers both yellow and red. It also had pickled onions, sunflower seeds, bacon and blue cheese that was all tossed together with ranch dressing which made it very convenient and easy to eat. Last but not least, the French Fries. They included a nice seasoning on the outside for a crispy texture and a creamy inside which I love. I liked the fact that they serve the fries with homemsde ranch and I didnt even have to ask for it...it's the little things for me. We sat inside to dine, I enjoyed seeing what others were eating, of course lots of burgers but also ribs, pasta, chicken sandwiches, salads and even cheese cake for dessert. I like that the menu offered a variety of options and brought great value for the quality and care that you can taste in every bite! I did not notice any issues with service as I saw other reviews reported. I would say that the inside, although cozy was a bit loud while others socialize. I think it was simply the high ceilings that carry the noise. The outside seating area is another option and is very nice as it's next to a stream which we would have chosen if it hadn't been 57° outside that day.

It is easily the most beautiful brewery I've ever stepped foot in. We only had drinks on this visit, but the neighboring tables kept talking about how incredible the food is. We came at 7pm and there was 8pm closing time so we were conscientious and had our order ready immediately. ALL the waitstaff and manager (I think- blue floral polo) were very focused on closure for the full hour. Unloading clean dishes, stocking the bar, a lot of watch checking. This is pretty off-putting when trying to enjoy food and feeling the pressure of closing time. No ongoing smiles or eye contact. Ambience: very cute, modern vibe. May need to look into some sound absorption material as there is quite loud reverberations from lively parties nearby. I also felt the employees were not very happy and I felt it was due to them being under extreme scrutiny of above-mentioned manager. Nobody smiled.
