I had a very pleasant experience. The place looks and feels very clean, enough space to feel comfortable between clients. The changing back room could be better and more private, but it was ok. Wendy took care of me, she was very polite, respectful and did a great job with everything. The facial was so good, the face massage was my favorite, hair treatment was good, very relaxing but the water ring water pressure could be stronger, I was expecting a little more but it was just ok, they use like a scalp massager that was amazing!!! Face oils, massage and skin cleansing was so relaxing, neck and shoulder massage was very good as well. I was gifted the platinum package and left with a shiny and clean hair, with a very soft and hydrated skin and happy with the blow dry as well. I hope they offer a good deal soon so I can take my daughter and sisters.

My friends and I had services done here today as part of a girls' day and we had a great time. We all planned for the Platinum package and it didn't disappoint. We booked our appt for March 14th back in early to mid January. The day before, the spa needed to make a time change for our group and we moved it to one hour later than originally planned. No issues on our end. They communicated it clearly and even added foot massages due to the change. All of the technicians we had were great. I had Ruby and she was fantastic from beginning to end. I would go out of my way to request her again. I was super relaxed and felt very refreshed at the end. There were some guests that were there before us who were very talkative and social while getting their hair dried in the back at the end of their service. Because the space in the back is fully open to where people are getting their treatment it was a bit distracting and harder to relax until they left the spa. It could help if quiet rules were enforced to make sure all patrons at all stages of their service are getting the most peaceful experience throughout. Overall great first head spa experience. I'd be happy to come back!

I've been trying out different head spas over the past couple years both on my own and with friend recommendations. This is one I visited last month on a whim based on location as I was in the area. To date, and at least 5-6 head spas later, this was hands down the best experience!!! I made an appointment the day before. The reservation has a deposit (like every other one I've been to). Balance is paid upon arrival. I was asked if i would like pictures and to not only feel the experience, i was curious visually as well,, so of course i said yes. This one was so different and hands down the most relaxing. Not only was it nicely decorated and inviting just walking in, the session matched in energy and warmth. Ivy was amazing! She took such great care of me and provided wonderful pictures so I saw what happened behind the scenes while I was relaxing. The experience had so many different elements, for the first time, I wasn't getting bored. This is the one I plan to go back to. This experience was worth the price.

I treated my mom to a head spa for a gift and we absolutely loved it. The whole spa was spacious and very clean. I loved how there are so many different tiers to choose from. We were serviced right away and the whole experience was so relaxing. We got changed to our robes and slippers and spent the morning feeling so calm and relaxed. When we left, our head and hair felt amazing! This is a really good place to treat someone or have a girls day since they have multiple stations.

What a treat and what a surprise for me! We did a sister day at Blue Moon Head Spa to celebrate my birthday. I had no idea a place like this existed. It was a nice and relaxing head massage and shampoo. I loved the hair shower gadget. They give you a cute strapless top, robes and slippers to wear. Overall, it was a good experience. There are several lay down beds for where the head messages and shampoos take place. Located at the very back of the shop is seating to accommodate four blow dryings at at time. In the same area are lockers , one dressing room and one bathroom to change. On the Saturday we were there, it was packed and really cramped to move around. They push a lot to review . . . this bothers me a bit. A place worth reviewing doesn't need to push for reviews. Anyway, if you are in need of some calming rest and relaxation, Blue Moon Head Spa is worthwhile. Probably best to go during the week to avoid the crowds.

OMG this place is amazing! Literally it is a deep tissue massage for the scalp and face including neck and shoulders. I made a reservation for the Platinum Package and it was worth each penny. 1 hour and a half of oils, moisturizers everything to massage the scalp and face. The fresh look and feeling is amazing. You check in the place and you get a robe and like a tube dress. Then you go to your station. My therapist was Helen, she was amazing!! Next time I will request her again. She even anticipated that I would want pics and video of my experience that she gave me at the end of my session. Place is small, clean and is in a shopping with lots of parking.

Who doesn't love a head massages? What a nice way to spend an hour. Grianne gave me an enjoyable relaxing massage. We did a sister day for one of our birthdays. Loved it! The only down is the space in this tiny place. It was a bit crowded with clients set up back to back. Not much room to move in the back. We couldn't really freshen up before heading to lunch. But still enjoyed the experience.

I did the Christmas Special and it included everything in their diamond package and some extras. I can never do another head spa again. This was the best head spa experience i have had. Very clean, calm and smells relaxing. This package makes you feel so relaxed and melts away so much stress. The shoulder and upper body massage was superb. Now i need to bring my mom and mother in law for a treat. Staff are welcoming and polite. They give you a robe. Even have sizes for us plus size gals. They use Dyson hair dryers and was super impressed how quiet and efficient they are.

Note: It was during the day at 2 on a weekday. Decided to take the fam to try a head spa since we've never been before. Didn't know what to expect but it was so relaxing. Enjoyed every moment of it that I dozed off a few times. It's clean inside and decorated for the season. The service was great. No complaints. I would return in the future.

I got the platinum service with hair growth added. Nikky was wonderful, and I left feeling relaxed, pampered and refreshed! The atmosphere inside is calming and the treatment felt wonderful on my scalp, face and skin! The facial part was basic and hydrating, but the scalp massages were the best part imo! My shoulder tension and pain was eased and I'm hoping my hair will get a needed growth boost! And it just feels great to have someone wash your hair and all that! They asked how hard I like being massaged on the intake form and I said firm and Nicky used strong pressure on my scalp pressure points and shoulders! ! I'll be back again for sure and plan to bring my mom for Christmas as a gift! Would make a great gift (especially for yourself as the holidays can be hectic!) payment was super easy with Zelle, Venmo card or Cash all as options and QR codes to make paying even easier. Perfect way to kick off my weekend after a long week! Note: I have professionally dyed pink hair and it did fade my color noticeably BUT I expected that, as every time I wash it there's some fading, so I scheduled my treatment shortly before I'm scheduled for a fresh dye job. My hair feels and looks soft and healthy so I'm not mad about it; but it your hair is dyed plan accordingly!

The service was ok, I was serviced by Ruby. It was a relaxing experience indeed, but for the price, i rather go to salon and ask for extra scalp massage. You will be leaving the salon with nice hair. At blue moon, you will leave with dryhair,frizzy because they are in a hurry to dry your hair and not bother to style. Overall it's a good experience but not exceptional and its over rated. read more

Came here with my friend while visiting the theme parks nearby. We needed a girl's relax day after multiple days walking. We did some research before we settled on Blue Moon and it was definitely an unforgettable experience. We had Jenny and Mimi and they were both amazing. I love how much time they spent and the details they put into their work. The service was relaxing, quiet and they were very diligent with asking questions. I love that they dry your hair at the end of your session. I know not a lot of places do that so that was appreciated. read more

This place is in the Stater Brothers plaza and in a not a fancy plaza but the inside was very nice and spa like. We got the first timer the diamond top tier. You get a facial scrub and mask it was nice but not like a real facial, so don't look for that if you wanted a real facial. The shoulder massage was nice but they are quite thorough with the hair washing. They did a very nice job with the blow dry some places let you go looking a bit messy but they did a good job with our group trying to ensure everyone looked put together afterwards which I appreciate. My hair felt super clean and styled. They had the circular water spray which was good but just felt like water spraying everywhere. I'd recommend if you are in the area. read more

I want to start by saying my first experience here wasn't great, but the owner immediately reached out to address my concerns. She genuinely cared about making things right, which I really appreciated. I told her I needed about two weeks for my skin to heal before I could consider coming back, as I have very sensitive skin. For my second visit, I was lucky to have Jade as my hair girl, and let me tell you... it was a complete 180. She was phenomenal. Attentive, sweet, and you can tell she genuinely loves what she does. Not only was her massage incredible, but she also noticed right away that I was feeling a little itchy from the oil. Without hesitation, she washed it off, ensuring I was comfortable the entire time. I would absolutely return, but only for Jade! Thank you, Blue Moon Spa, for reaching out and giving me the chance to have a much better experience. I was hesitant at first, but I'm so glad I gave it another shot. *The only reason I can't give it a 5 is because the layout of the place could still be loud especially on a busy day. Check in was fast and easy. All the girls working there were nice. They provide comfortable robes. Ruby provided a relaxing soothing experience. At the end they blow dry your hair but I have curly hair so I liked that she offered mousse instead. Really enjoyed it I would come back. One thing that was a bit unorganized was once we went to the back to change, the techs were walking around pointing to a paper asking if that was our name. Also, parking was a bit hectic. 1. It was freezing. Blankets don't cover your feet And the water was, for the most part, cold. Even if the water was warm, they scrub with the same soap for so long that my head was freezing. 2. The beds are not comfortable. My friend and i both agreed that our backs hurt by the end. My butt was going numb. 3. The massage was so clumsy. None of it felt good. Just felt like someone was putting lotion on me. 4. It was insanely overpriced. It was basically $175 to have someone wash my hair. RIGHT next to someone else. In a very odd cheap satin gown. Whilst freezing. Ans it wasn't good. I thought it would be at minimum as good as when my hairdresser gives me a scalp massage- it wasn't. Sigh read more

Not worth the hype. I went for their diamond service, hoping for a top-tier experience, but left feeling disappointed. The environment was quite loud, people were constantly walking in and out, and the door kept opening, which made it hard to relax. The massage itself missed the mark. It didn't feel like they hit any pressure points, and instead of gentle, therapeutic strokes, it felt more like they were brushing my hair, at one point, it actually felt like they were pulling it out. Ouch. I tried asking about the steps of the treatment due to a language barrier, but no one seemed to understand my question or make an effort to explain. That part was frustrating and made me feel really unheard. The owner later invited me to return, but I would still have to pay full price again. Honestly... no thanks. read more

This was such a relaxing experience. Wendy did a great job making me feel comfortable and she even took videos and pics for me. Everyone was very friendly and because of the holidays they handed out cute goody bags with mask, eye mask, candy and more. The only thing was the end... i have curly hair however they were blow drying everyone's hair but she did not do mine instead she tried to do two french braides. I explained that with the dryer and the comb you could dry my hair the fact that she didn't even try. After explaning its part of the package i just gave up trying to explain that they could blow dry my hair out as well. But other than that the experience was nice and I would go again read more

I recently visited Blue Moon Head Spa and had a Platinum spa session with Jenny -- she was absolutely phenomenal. Her touch was incredibly gentle, and she stayed communicative throughout the experience, making sure my needs were met. Truly a gem of a masseuse and one of the highlights of my visit. However, in terms of atmosphere and overall experience, I did leave feeling a little underwhelmed. Given how highly raved about this place is on social media, my expectations were definitely higher. One of the bigger issues was the water temperature fluctuating from hot to cold, which was quite jarring and took away from the relaxation I was hoping for. Another major concern was being placed in a shared room with a complete stranger, who continued to talk about their own needs throughout the session. It was distracting and made it hard to fully relax. Additionally, the space isn't fully enclosed -- just separated by curtains -- so outside noise, including the sound of blow dryers and staff, filtered in and disrupted the peaceful environment. While the massage itself was wonderful and Jenny did an amazing job, the relaxation aspect -- which is such a big part of why we take the time (and spend the money) to visit places like this -- just wasn't fully there for me. Overall, good service but improvements could definitely be made to the atmosphere for a truly relaxing experience. read more

The spa location may be in a strip mall in Orange, but when you get inside, it feels like a high end spa/salon. The decorum and demeanor of those providing the services (and at the front desk) is top-notch. It feels like the management is very hands-on and assures all the services are great. I did my research before selecting a head spa. I booked the Diamond treatment at Blue Moon for my daughter and I. We both loved it so much. It is hard to pick our favorite part. Each was better than the last. Treat yourself and ask for Helen. She was fabulous. Very kind, attentive and caring. My daughter loved Anna too which seems like a really good sign about consistency. We can't wait to go back. One comment: the wedge for under your knees should be three times as big/tall. I asked for two but keeping them on top of each other was hard. I must say the place is gorgeous, there is such a calming energy, and the esthetic is perfection with relaxation mode. I loved the hair wash and the smells utilized to induce a feeling of well being and escape. I am a guy, and the facial portion is something most guys don't know they need. After receiving your robe you are taken to the next area to change. The entire area was super relaxing with other customers getting their treatment. The hot stone massage kind of caught me by surprised when the heat kept increasing, but Wendy would reassure me and would lightly tap it on my skin so I would get used to it. Wendy was very nice and noticed it was first time doing anything like this. She also has soft hands for neck, shoulder, and temple massage purposes and lengthy nails for scalp massaging. Oh my gawd, ask for Amy as a tech, she was amazing! This was the best spa service I've ever had. The exterior is unassuming but after you get settled on the head spa bed and they start the treatment you are whisked away into wonderland. Anna did the service for my friend and she got glowing reviews as well! We didn't know it, but they had a special promotion going on in November where they added on a bunch of free upgrades to the service. Not only did we get the full 2 hour treatment, they also did advanced face massage, as well as leg and feet massage. The place is small but so incredibly cozy. There's only 2 spots so we had a private and pampered experience. It's called a head spa, but it was truly more than that. We started off with a heated eye mask and scalp massage, followed by a face and neck massage, leg massage, and then a thorough double cleanse and conditioner. My hair felt so soft and revived after the treatment. And my face felt so smooth and glowy! Truly 2 hours of bliss. Once the massage and washing were over, we were treated to some cute snacks, followed my a thorough drying and even light styling of hair with Dyson hair dryers. Small location very private but noisy. Holly was my tech. She was the only one in there for the first 1/2 of my 90 minute service, which meant during the service she was also the receptionist. She was on her phone a lot, I was rather annoyed by her answering calls in what is supposed to be a relaxing service. The service was ok, going from touching her phone to my face wasn't my favorite. Very heavy, rough hands. I have fine hair and it was a lot of pulling. Massage was fine still very heavy handed and the position to sit in at the end was not comfortable, maybe because I'm a taller? I'm not sure. Not sure if they were having plumbing issues, but the water was cold the whole service. It warmed only slightly but not comfortable. What was most concerning was how tangled my hair was at the end. I have never seen my hair in such a knotted mess. Yes she was able to detangle, by pulling it apart and ripping the hair. The tangles were caused by poor products and shampoo technique. A good conditioner and proper rinsing would never leave my hair like that, the 90minite service was also supposed to include blowdry, I was told to pay $10 more. I will not be returning. I wish them luck and hope they can use this as a reference to make the experience better. There are MANY head spas in the area that take better care of the client for the same price.

Martha coordinated with her team members Danielle and DJ and we're so thoughtful and gave my family and I macaroon & citrus bath steamers with a hand written card. I buy Disney gift cards at target with my target card for 5% off and the grand California hotel valet parking (normally $75) is complimentary with $125 or $175 service (no tram or walking). Your reservation confirmation will tell you the exact amount. Please tip the valet cast members, they hustle and provide great service. Whenever I had concerns or feedback, cast members listened, weren't defensive and was receptive and understanding. They take care of you and want you to enjoy your experience!

I called and they then told me that one of the technicians had gotten into an accident and will be 15 mins late, but they will have another technician open the door. We were okay with that... 30 minutes later, we were still standing outside in 80+ degree heat. Mind you that I drove an hour to get here from LA. We were let inside at 11:40am. After changing, we were told to lay down. However, the other technician still didn't arrive, so we laid there and talked. The service started when she walked in at 11:55am. They only have two different services and we went with their 90 minute Kaori Treatment ($138). The hair wash was decent and relaxing. The products smelled wonderful... However, the technician I had seemed inexperienced. The "lifting" facial was a joke as she just patted my face and put a mask on it. When we were told to get dressed for the blow dry, it was 12:55pm. Definitely not a 90 minute service as were seated for approximately 10-15 minutes to blow dry our hair before our service was completely over. It was about a 75 minute service. Also, they do not offer tea or snacks. I was so thirsty, I had to ask for water. Other reviews talked about a face and scalp consultation which was was not offered to us. We never got any analysis period. At the time of payment, they gave us a discount due to the troubles. However, they didn't deduct that deposit we had made and they had trouble confirming it with whomever they were speaking with. I ended up showing them the text log with the screenshot of payment. As this is a second location, I expected at least the basic standard of care. I came to relax, but I the whole situation stressed me out and I was disappointed. I should have learned by now not to trust Instagram influencers. That being said, I will be returning to my usual hair spa.
