I had a very pleasant experience. The place looks and feels very clean, enough space to feel comfortable between clients. The changing back room could be better and more private, but it was ok. Wendy took care of me, she was very polite, respectful and did a great job with everything. The facial was so good, the face massage was my favorite, hair treatment was good, very relaxing but the water ring water pressure could be stronger, I was expecting a little more but it was just ok, they use like a scalp massager that was amazing!!! Face oils, massage and skin cleansing was so relaxing, neck and shoulder massage was very good as well. I was gifted the platinum package and left with a shiny and clean hair, with a very soft and hydrated skin and happy with the blow dry as well. I hope they offer a good deal soon so I can take my daughter and sisters.

I've been trying out different head spas over the past couple years both on my own and with friend recommendations. This is one I visited last month on a whim based on location as I was in the area. To date, and at least 5-6 head spas later, this was hands down the best experience!!! I made an appointment the day before. The reservation has a deposit (like every other one I've been to). Balance is paid upon arrival. I was asked if i would like pictures and to not only feel the experience, i was curious visually as well,, so of course i said yes. This one was so different and hands down the most relaxing. Not only was it nicely decorated and inviting just walking in, the session matched in energy and warmth. Ivy was amazing! She took such great care of me and provided wonderful pictures so I saw what happened behind the scenes while I was relaxing. The experience had so many different elements, for the first time, I wasn't getting bored. This is the one I plan to go back to. This experience was worth the price.

I treated my mom to a head spa for a gift and we absolutely loved it. The whole spa was spacious and very clean. I loved how there are so many different tiers to choose from. We were serviced right away and the whole experience was so relaxing. We got changed to our robes and slippers and spent the morning feeling so calm and relaxed. When we left, our head and hair felt amazing! This is a really good place to treat someone or have a girls day since they have multiple stations.

What a treat and what a surprise for me! We did a sister day at Blue Moon Head Spa to celebrate my birthday. I had no idea a place like this existed. It was a nice and relaxing head massage and shampoo. I loved the hair shower gadget. They give you a cute strapless top, robes and slippers to wear. Overall, it was a good experience. There are several lay down beds for where the head messages and shampoos take place. Located at the very back of the shop is seating to accommodate four blow dryings at at time. In the same area are lockers , one dressing room and one bathroom to change. On the Saturday we were there, it was packed and really cramped to move around. They push a lot to review . . . this bothers me a bit. A place worth reviewing doesn't need to push for reviews. Anyway, if you are in need of some calming rest and relaxation, Blue Moon Head Spa is worthwhile. Probably best to go during the week to avoid the crowds.

OMG this place is amazing! Literally it is a deep tissue massage for the scalp and face including neck and shoulders. I made a reservation for the Platinum Package and it was worth each penny. 1 hour and a half of oils, moisturizers everything to massage the scalp and face. The fresh look and feeling is amazing. You check in the place and you get a robe and like a tube dress. Then you go to your station. My therapist was Helen, she was amazing!! Next time I will request her again. She even anticipated that I would want pics and video of my experience that she gave me at the end of my session. Place is small, clean and is in a shopping with lots of parking.

Who doesn't love a head massages? What a nice way to spend an hour. Grianne gave me an enjoyable relaxing massage. We did a sister day for one of our birthdays. Loved it! The only down is the space in this tiny place. It was a bit crowded with clients set up back to back. Not much room to move in the back. We couldn't really freshen up before heading to lunch. But still enjoyed the experience.

I have tried many head spas, but Blue Moon Head Spa is the one I like best; it makes me feel the most relaxed, helps me sleep better, and brings me a sense of peace like never before--I absolutely love this place.

I did the Christmas Special and it included everything in their diamond package and some extras. I can never do another head spa again. This was the best head spa experience i have had. Very clean, calm and smells relaxing. This package makes you feel so relaxed and melts away so much stress. The shoulder and upper body massage was superb. Now i need to bring my mom and mother in law for a treat. Staff are welcoming and polite. They give you a robe. Even have sizes for us plus size gals. They use Dyson hair dryers and was super impressed how quiet and efficient they are.

this is a lovely spa experience. i got the $175 package? comes with massage, mini facial, ear and neck washing. the technician really takes care of you from start to finish. my hair felt very clean and lightweight. the only cons that i have are you pay before you start. ok whatever. have a cash tip or pay them with zelle/venmo. also some people got shopping bags and i didnt. im not sure if that was the expensive package or not. they wont let u take pics. (im not sure why?) your attendant can can pics for you. i would have liked it if the had the mircosope/camera to look at your scalp. they give u a water bottle/grapes/biscoff cookies when shes doing your hair. i really didnt wanna spend like $200 but hey thats what spa days cost if you want to be relaxed come here. read more

I got the Diamond treatment and it was well worth the $211. Ivy was sweet and is gifted with her hands. I love a hot towel and getting my head pulled off my body lol! When it was all over she had walked away so I stretched my arms back over my head and she caught me. She gently grabbed my wrist and tugged on them. Stellar experience! read more

Wow, just wow! If you love the idea of going to a spa but feel a little intimidated about going alone, look no further. This place is an absolute gem. I'm beyond impressed and so grateful I found it. There are plenty of headspas out there, but when it comes to customer service and genuine kindness, this one takes the crown. I also love supporting small businesses, and this one truly deserves it. I treated myself to the Diamond Package and added a foot massage, and let me tell you it was everything. My technician, Jenny, was AMAZING. I thought I was just going in for a headspa, but they massaged my neck, arms, hands, face, feet, and legs. Basically every knot I didn't even know I had... gone! Jenny is an absolute miracle worker. And yes, they also do facial, wash your hair, massage your scalp, and work on pressure points with acupressure techniques. It was exactly what I needed after some really tough months. I also want to give a huge shoutout to Annie, the owner. I felt an instant connection with her. She's so warm and kind. I truly believe her business will thrive because her heart is so genuine. A heavenly experience! I have scalp psoriasis and have been wanting to get a scalp treatment done, so I took advantage of the grand opening specials and booked the Diamond package at Blue Moon Head Spa. The reception area is beautiful and airy. You get handed a (2 pc) dress and robe, and are guided into the changing room where you can place your shoes, clothes, and personal belongings in a basket. I recommend to take off all your jewelry in the changing room, so you don't have to be fumbling in the dark later. You take the basket with you to the massage bed and it is placed underneath. My masseuse was Anna and she was wonderful! The pressure she used on my face, arms, shoulders and scalp were perfect. Anna would check in periodically to make sure the pressure was ok and the hot stones, steam eye mask and hot towels weren't too hot. As for the hair and scalp treatments, I was a bit self conscious about my psoriasis but Anna made me feel comfortable and she was meticulous. I have thick, extra-long hair but Anna quickly dried my hair with a Dyson blow drier to finish off the experience while enjoying light refreshments. I highly recommend the head spa! ‍ read more

I went here on a whim as a walk-in after deciding I needed to escape my children for bit... and I would give a HUNDRED stars if I could. I went to heaven and back. I was really impressed by the attention to details such as the pillow under my knees, the lip treatment, the calming ambience and sound, the cleanliness, and the heavenly smells. My hair and scalp feel amazing and it was exactly what I needed post-partum. I am a whole new less tired and cranky mama and I'm so thankful. It was worth every penny. I have almost become a regular customer now and the quality is always amazing. From start to finish the experience is luxurious. My technician Ruby was spectacular and took great care of me. At the end of the treatment they blow dry your hair and I was a little skeptical as a black girl with curly hair but the range of products made me feel seen and welcomed. Found this place via TikTok. I visited this spa as a birthday treat, and I couldn't be more satisfied with my experience! My technician, Allisa, was absolutely wonderful -- she was friendly, attentive, and gentle throughout the entire session. I had a scalp massage as well as a facial treatment, and I left feeling incredibly refreshed and rejuvenated. The ambiance of the spa was calming and peaceful, and the place was spotless. I would definitely recommend this place to others and will be coming back for sure read more

As an esthetician of 20 years, I decided to take myself (For my birthday) to Blue Moon. I have very long thick hair and being pampered felt like the right call. I have been to head Spas before, but Blue Moon is special. Not only was it professional from start to finish, they use organic products on the skin (VERY IMPORTANT TO ME), and the technique was on point. Ruby was excellent. Beautiful hands. Stop using AI doctored photos of this place. The business looked nothing like the photos online. It was located in a shady looking strip mall. I would never recommend this place to anyone. I watched them put used combs back into a container marked "clean" and I came home and showered immediately following this experience. read more

My parents and I treated ourselves to headspa session this pre holiday weekend. We all chose the highest Diamond package which included acupressure massages for head/face/shoulders/arms, eye mask, face cleanse/exfoliate/gua sha in addition to twice hair wash & conditioner with special tools done by Anna, Jade and Jenny. Needless to say, we were very satisfied with the services included in the package and done superbly by our wonderful masseuses! The owner Annie is also incredibly friendly and helpful. Definitely coming back with my friends for a well deserved and enjoyable treatment for everyone! 11/10 experience :) Update: my hair still smells so amazinggg many hours later!! read more

Booking was easy on the website and all their services have a good description to determine what best fits your needs. I had to reschedule my initial appointment, and for that you need to call in. They send you a text reminder, and you must cancel at least 24 hours before your appointment to avoid a fee. One special thing to note is if you book a service that's at least an hour, you receive a complimentary foot soak as long if you arrive at least 15 minutes before your appointment. This was a nice touch. When I arrived, Cristina, from the front desk walked me to their quiet room, which has the ultimate relaxation vibes. She was amazing! She had my foot soak ready to go, along with a heated neck wrap and a blanket. On top of that, she made me a delicious vanilla chamomile tea, accompanied by a chocolate. A literal pampering angel. My facial was done by Chasity. She was also so nice and she gave me plenty of time to change and get comfortable in the spa bed. She listened to my skin concerns and tailored the products for my face. Throughout my appointment, she explained each step of the facial. At one point I was so relaxed, I fell asleep. When I arrived, Tina was my massage therapist, and she did a fabulous job. I have severe lower back and neck pain from old injuries, so I requested medium pressure. Tina was spot on--I would describe the pressure as medium to strong, exactly what I needed. She also discovered a significant amount of tension at the base of my skull and applied firm pressure to both sides. That was an area I had never really considered, but it turned out to be a major source of radiating pain and headaches for me. Tina's technique was excellent, and her tempo and attention to pressure were just right. The facility was clean, peaceful, and quiet, with soft, soothing music playing in the background. I had a great experience and would highly recommend Garden Wellness Massage, especially if you're looking for a skilled therapist who really pays attention to where your body is holding tension.

Luckily, Gardens Wellness Spa has a "Sports Massage" which combines different types with massages with stretches for the arms, chest, and legs. It was nice that I was able to get an appointment so quickly when I went to the website. It took less than an hour from booking the appointment to being on the table. Parking was ample, and the front staff was pleasant and welcoming. I was escorted to a dim room and given instructions to prepare myself before the therapist comes in. My massage therapist came in, introduced herself, and got to business. By the end of the session, I felt slightly better. The stiffness and ache in my back was definitely still present. But I wasn't expecting a full recovery after a 60 minute sessions so I didn't mind. I appreciated that she really tried using pressure on the back by literally using her entire body weight, because most of the massage therapists I get are significantly lighter than me, so I don't really feel much when they try to get the knots out. That being said, it would be nice to have an option online for a male therapist as I could have used more pressure on my back. The portion where you can book with certain staff members are only labeled as 'Therapist' for all the options. I understand from a privacy-focused perspective why they'd do that, but I never know who I' getting when I book with them. Decent service, would come back again if needed.

Unfortunately, this was the worst massage I've had here. The massage therapist used way too much pressure than was needed and was too aggressive. She also focused on techniques and areas I specifically mentioned I didn't want and did not focus on what I requested, which made the session uncomfortable. The head massage was also not what I expected. Instead of an actual massage, she mostly scratched my scalp the entire time. When she worked on my neck, the pressure was extremely intense and she squeezed so hard that it honestly made me feel worried something might get injured. Another issue was that when the massage oil dried up, very little was reapplied, so there was a lot of uncomfortable friction during parts of the massage. Unfortunately, I left feeling more sore and in more pain than before, which was really disappointing since I was hoping to feel relaxed and relieved afterward. * FYI - The massage therapist I had on 3/7/26 had black, kind of frizzy hair, and wore a light grey sweatshirt and sweatpants with black sandals. We were in room 1 and I was the one lying closest to the door. *

They mention the lot but not the cost (to be fair, no issue with the cost but I recommend letting clients know it's a fee and you have to go through an app. It takes time to enter card info,etc) -Driveway parking was offered for parking but it is tandem and very limited. Street parking very limited. Give yourself time for parking. -Locker is coed. You lock when changing for privacy so if you are in a hurry, try to get there when available Overall, I would go back. Might just be that I got a newbie or something but she was incredibly bad at her job. She'd never dry my ears properly leaving water and suds sitting in there for the entire time even after the service was finished. While shampooing she'd massage my neck and shoulders while her hands were full of hair product and shampoo suds, WHY?!! Hair products are NOT meant to be used on skin and she kept massaging it in and not washing it off leaving the hair product and suds just SITTING on my neck and shoulders for the majority of the service. Additionally she got water into my eyes MULTIPLE times and didn't even notice, would put a SOPPING wet towel over my eyes then run water right over it making me feel like it was a water boarding punishment, failed to dry me off properly at the end making me sit up resulting in water dripping down my back and getting my clothes wet. Then she gave me cotton swabs for me to clean my ears and when I went to try to throw it away after using it, she roughly pulled it out of my fingers so fast that the dirty cotton swabs touched my fingers leaving my ear wax on my own finger. Cherry on top she then shooed me off the chair after 5 mins of blow drying before my hair was fully dry, didn't even brush my hair until she saw me finger combing it myself. The only reason I gave more than one star is that Maybe the other head spa staff is better but I will never come back because of how bad mine was. Poor attention to detail is an understatement.

I recently visited Blue Moon Head Spa and had a Platinum spa session with Jenny -- she was absolutely phenomenal. Her touch was incredibly gentle, and she stayed communicative throughout the experience, making sure my needs were met. Truly a gem of a masseuse and one of the highlights of my visit. However, in terms of atmosphere and overall experience, I did leave feeling a little underwhelmed. Given how highly raved about this place is on social media, my expectations were definitely higher. One of the bigger issues was the water temperature fluctuating from hot to cold, which was quite jarring and took away from the relaxation I was hoping for. Another major concern was being placed in a shared room with a complete stranger, who continued to talk about their own needs throughout the session. It was distracting and made it hard to fully relax. Additionally, the space isn't fully enclosed -- just separated by curtains -- so outside noise, including the sound of blow dryers and staff, filtered in and disrupted the peaceful environment. While the massage itself was wonderful and Jenny did an amazing job, the relaxation aspect -- which is such a big part of why we take the time (and spend the money) to visit places like this -- just wasn't fully there for me. Overall, good service but improvements could definitely be made to the atmosphere for a truly relaxing experience. read more

What an amazing experience. Perfection from start to finish. Helen was so attentive and made all the services special. The spa location may be in a strip mall in Orange, but when you get inside, it feels like a high end spa/salon. The decorum and demeanor of those providing the services (and at the front desk) is top-notch. It feels like the management is very hands-on and assures all the services are great. I did my research before selecting a head spa. I booked the Diamond treatment at Blue Moon for my daughter and I. We both loved it so much. It is hard to pick our favorite part. Each was better than the last. Treat yourself and ask for Helen. She was fabulous. Very kind, attentive and caring. My daughter loved Anna too which seems like a really good sign about consistency. We can't wait to go back. One comment: the wedge for under your knees should be three times as big/tall. I asked for two but keeping them on top of each other was hard. This is a new head spa in Orange, as a head spa enthusiast I feel I am a great resource and reliable critic of what's considered a good head spa. I must say the place is gorgeous, there is such a calming energy, and the esthetic is perfection with relaxation mode. I purchased the Diamond package, I have to say it is worth every penny and more, The massage was just what the Dr ordered, Plenty of pressure, great technique. I loved the hair wash and the smells utilized to induce a feeling of well being and escape. I am a guy, and the facial portion is something most guys don't know they need. This was my first time going to any kind of spa to get a full service. I purchased the Diamond package and loved everything included. After receiving your robe you are taken to the next area to change. The entire area was super relaxing with other customers getting their treatment. The hot stone massage kind of caught me by surprised when the heat kept increasing, but Wendy would reassure me and would lightly tap it on my skin so I would get used to it. Wendy was very nice and noticed it was first time doing anything like this. She also has soft hands for neck, shoulder, and temple massage purposes and lengthy nails for scalp massaging. My technician, Katie was absolutely fantastic--she really knew what she was doing and applied the perfect amount of pressure throughout the session. I left feeling completely relaxed and rejuvenated. I booked the Platinum Package at Blue Moon Head Spa and added the scalp exfoliation, and it was absolutely worth it. My masseuse, Ruby, was wonderful--she greeted me with a big smile and was so polite and respectful throughout the entire visit. She checked in often, asking how I felt and if I needed anything, which made the whole experience even more comfortable. I had such a great experience at Blue Moon! I purchased the Diamond package and was handled like one. Allisa was amazing -- she really took her time with my hair and made me feel completely at ease. As a Black woman with curly hair, I wasn't sure what to expect walking in, but Allisa handled everything with so much care and confidence as best she could. I was so relaxed, I actually fell asleep mid-appointment -- I don't even remember half of it, but that's how you know it was good! Oh my gawd, ask for Amy as a tech, she was amazing! This was the best spa service I've ever had. The exterior is unassuming but after you get settled on the head spa bed and they start the treatment you are whisked away into wonderland. The service was incredible, I got the Gold package and added the facial, massage, hair loss treatment, exfoliation and after the hair drying a hair do. It was one of the best experiences. Miss Ruby is a magician! I had a wonderful morning with her and had the platinum package. I upgraded from the gold, totally worth it!! I will definitely come back to book another appointment with her soon. The space is cozy and quiet, they really do an excellent job creating a calm and relaxing environmen. I recommend using Zelle or venmo so you don't have to pay card fees or if you pay cash you get a discount as well. A great place for a mother daughter date or even a girls day with your besties. Anna did the service for my friend and she got glowing reviews as well! We didn't know it, but they had a special promotion going on in November where they added on a bunch of free upgrades to the service. Not only did we get the full 2 hour treatment, they also did advanced face massage, as well as leg and feet massage. The place is small but so incredibly cozy. There's only 2 spots so we had a private and pampered experience. It's called a head spa, but it was truly more than that. We started off with a heated eye mask and scalp massage, followed by a face and neck massage, leg massage, and then a thorough double cleanse and conditioner. My hair felt so soft and revived after the treatment. And my face felt so smooth and glowy! Truly 2 hours of bliss. Once the massage and washing were over, we were treated to some cute snacks, followed my a thorough drying and even light styling of hair with Dyson hair dryers. Small location very private but noisy. Holly was my tech. She was the only one in there for the first 1/2 of my 90 minute service, which meant during the service she was also the receptionist. She was on her phone a lot, I was rather annoyed by her answering calls in what is supposed to be a relaxing service. The service was ok, going from touching her phone to my face wasn't my favorite. Very heavy, rough hands. I have fine hair and it was a lot of pulling. Massage was fine still very heavy handed and the position to sit in at the end was not comfortable, maybe because I'm a taller? I'm not sure. Not sure if they were having plumbing issues, but the water was cold the whole service. It warmed only slightly but not comfortable. What was most concerning was how tangled my hair was at the end. I have never seen my hair in such a knotted mess. Yes she was able to detangle, by pulling it apart and ripping the hair. The tangles were caused by poor products and shampoo technique. A good conditioner and proper rinsing would never leave my hair like that, the 90minite service was also supposed to include blowdry, I was told to pay $10 more. I will not be returning. I wish them luck and hope they can use this as a reference to make the experience better. There are MANY head spas in the area that take better care of the client for the same price.

I buy Disney gift cards at target with my target card for 5% off and the grand California hotel valet parking (normally $75) is complimentary with $125 or $175 service (no tram or walking). Your reservation confirmation will tell you the exact amount. Please tip the valet cast members, they hustle and provide great service. Whenever I had concerns or feedback, cast members listened, weren't defensive and was receptive and understanding. They take care of you and want you to enjoy your experience!

We were okay with that... 30 minutes later, we were still standing outside in 80+ degree heat. Mind you that I drove an hour to get here from LA. We were let inside at 11:40am. After changing, we were told to lay down. However, the other technician still didn't arrive, so we laid there and talked. The service started when she walked in at 11:55am. They only have two different services and we went with their 90 minute Kaori Treatment ($138). The hair wash was decent and relaxing. The products smelled wonderful... However, the technician I had seemed inexperienced. The "lifting" facial was a joke as she just patted my face and put a mask on it. When we were told to get dressed for the blow dry, it was 12:55pm. Definitely not a 90 minute service as were seated for approximately 10-15 minutes to blow dry our hair before our service was completely over. It was about a 75 minute service. Also, they do not offer tea or snacks. I was so thirsty, I had to ask for water. Other reviews talked about a face and scalp consultation which was was not offered to us. We never got any analysis period. At the time of payment, they gave us a discount due to the troubles. However, they didn't deduct that deposit we had made and they had trouble confirming it with whomever they were speaking with. I ended up showing them the text log with the screenshot of payment. As this is a second location, I expected at least the basic standard of care. I came to relax, but I the whole situation stressed me out and I was disappointed. I should have learned by now not to trust Instagram influencers. That being said, I will be returning to my usual hair spa.
