I am not sure how the food tastes I decided not to eat here after the experience i had ordering over the phone. I was ordering a calzone and they wanted to charge me a dollar for marinara sauce. Who sells a calzone and doesn't include marinara sauce? The website has a side of marinara sauce with the BYO calzone which is 11.50. In the picture when you order online there is a side of sauce. The classic calzone was $15 and I would have had to pay a dollar extra for marinara on the side. How does this make sense? Due to these issues I won't be going to this place because I feel like they are ripping customers off or maybe they just don't know their own menu. It's a fairly typical pizza joint with menu options that include a number of premade pizza combinations, along with build your own options, wings, salads, sandwiches etc. Parking was easy and the place was super clean (not greasy as pizza places can be sometimes). Everyone working here was friendly, although a big group next to us seemed to slow things down in the kitchen today. Our white pizza was 7/10 for me. I really enjoyed the thin, crispy crust. Upon entering, I immediately realized why I never choose this place. It was a random Tuesday night, and this place was a zoo. I waited at the door a few moments to be seated, and waited almost 30 minutes for a drink. No one came to my table - I repeatedly tried and no one would make eye contact with me. I finally got up and stopped someone, and no one was sure who was supposed to be my server. My friend and I waited for over an hour for our food - we ordered salads. Nothing was comped, the bill had a mistake, a small apology was given. The food was fine once we finally got it, but no food was worth waiting that long in a chaotic environment where you feel like you're being ignored. If you're looking for a place where you'll wait indefinitely for your food and you'll need to shout across the table because there are feral children screaming and running around all over, then this sounds like the place for you. There are SO many better options in this town, in my opinion. I sadly remembered why I never eat here, and I definitely won't be back. read more

I actually can't believe that this place has good reviews on here. What a horrendous experience ‍. The waitress had absolutely no clue about what celiac was or the need for no cross contamination for gluten free (they advertise this). The menu under "100% gluten free" it lists crispy chicken for the buffalo salad so when I asked her about it she didn't know. She went back to the cook who confirmed that it wasn't safe and it should say grilled. The entire menu is wrong and that is really unsafe for celiac customers and even gluten free considering the crispy chicken has gluten. They were also unsure about the dressings for salads listed on the GF menu. I ordered the GF pizza against better judgement and it came with a random piece of chicken on it and no basil (margarita pizza). Then the manager came over with a terrible snarky attitude and said he'd personally remake it and rolled his eyes!!! We left without eating. No way would I trust this place. On top of these issues, the waitress stuck her finger inside my cup to refill. Totally gross. Addition: my husband's food that wasn't GF was also terrible. Never returning. read more

Whenever we are down in Ft. Myers, we visit Blue Moon Pizza. It's a short walk from our place and the food is always good. They have a cute patio with string lights and the restaurant has a lot of seating and a bar. It feels cozy in the evenings and you can watch a game and have a drink. My husband always orders the Meateor and loves it! It's too much meat for me (hello meat sweats!). This is my first time trying the meatball sub and it was really good. The meatballs were large in size and had a good spicy kick. There was a bunch of melted mozzarella toasted on top. The bread itself was crunchy from toasting but still soft enough that it doesn't flake everywhere. If you are in the area, check them out! read more

But, the most surprising and unexpected delight was they made the best Vesper Martini I've had in Lee County. I worked near Blue Moon many years ago. Whenever we have social gathering or pizza party, we would order several "Take-n-Bake" pizzas and bake in our oven to ensure freshness, crisp and hot steaming pies. I don't believe this; it is been more than 3 years since our last visit. We stop by to have a pizza and beer for lunch! I ordered my favorite, "Classic" pizza with pepperoni, sausage, red and green peppers, mushroom, and red onions. You can smell the fragrance as the staff put the pie on the table! Needless to say, "Delicious!" My friend ordered her Margherita pizza with roasted tomato, mozzarella and basil with a light sauce. Both pies were spot on! You can see how pandemic affected their tables arrangement. They are spread farther apart both for inside and outside seating! The ambiance is casual and relax. The new owner was working and suggested an appetizer that had mozzarella on top of a spring mix , and tomatoes had balsamic glaze on it. Was excellent! They have great daily drink specials as well.
