Very good experience! It was our first time here. The service is fast and friendly. I got the Carmel iced coffee and it was great. I also got the scramble bowl with eggs, mushrooms, spinach, toast and home fries. Everything was fresh and flavorful. I had to pick up a couch in Saginaw today and this restaurant was just down the road from where I picked the couch up. I was hungry, so I decided to stop in. The restaurant was really clean and had plenty of seats. I was sat down immediately, but I had to wait a little bit to place my order. I did get a little impatient, I was about to get up and leave before the waitress Showed up to take my order. She was very kind, and asked what I wanted. She put the order in very quickly and returned with my water and coffee. The food was pretty good. But the potatoes were a little undercooked and the sourdough bread was not toasted at all. I also do not think this was true sourdough bread. I ate all of my eggs and bacon, and I still ate the potatoes, but I did not finish the bread. I'd would like to come back to this restaurant to try the brunch or lunch menu, but I was there before that menu was served. read more

False advertising for GF options and accommodations. Not accommodating at all. Food bad, service bad. Ambiance is like a basic but very clean diner. Cleanliness is the only reason this review got two stars. Please note that even tho Keke's website states they have gluten free options, the only option is bad wheat like gf toast. Yes, false advertising indeed and very disappointing for those of us who have to be gf. I went here in expectations of alternative options for a good eggs Benedict or pancakes or something - and was really disappointed. As I ordered, I was told my only option was the toast. No gf English muffin, no hash browns/potatoes instead of toast, nothing. Went to change my order to gf pancakes, but they don't have those either. When I asked the waitress, she stated their gluten free options are the gf toast, eggs and meat. What!? Keke's, if you advertise on your website that you have gf options (plural), have those options available or train your waitstaff to be even somewhat accommodating to people who need to be gf. Not "only toast, that's it. You can order an omelet though." Husband had a basic breakfast of bacon, scrambled eggs and regular pancakes. He said eggs were rubbery and bacon was burnt, the pancakes were decent so he just ate those because our waitress was nowhere to be found. I transferred the poached eggs from the most horrible eggs Benedict I've ever had, on top of the side of potatoes (which I previously requested but couldn't have?), and tried the hollandaise but it was like a custard and sour tasting (thank God I ordered it on the side). The gf toast was a heavy wheat tasting, somewhat burnt that was not my jam, no big deal-but again at least accommodate gf people's requests. When waitress finally came back (after we flagged down a hostess), she apologized and said she just loves talking to all her customers and gets carried away. Makes no sense why you'd even tell me that because it flags to me (as a former bartender and server) that basically you ignored us because you thought we wouldn't tip you well so you paid attention to tables that do tip you well. I'm updating my review because I thought the last time, the humming sound was a one-time thing, even though it gave me anxiety, but this time I got sick. I hate leaving a bad review over a sound, but here we are: HUMMING - We went opening weekend, and it was packed. We sat in the 2 person booths near the bathroom. This awful humming was going on the entire time. It was so painful that I started having a literal anxiety attack (and I don't have anxiety). We had to eat fast and go. Fast forward to us waiting a while, thinking whatever that sound was would be gone. We tried to go back the other day. The hostess sat us on the other side. I didn't notice it until we sat down, and it immediately got to me again. My husband, who isn't as sensitive to sound as I am, said it was horrible both times to the point we were both getting a headache. It was so bad, we had to leave. When we explained this to the hostess, she immediately said it was a problem for many people. We asked her to please tell the waitress we had to go because of it, while she was getting our drinks. Our waitress came up while we were talking and knew why we were leaving, even before we told her, so I'm guessing they have a lot of people who have to leave due to this. Side note: the food is great. The staff are as well. But until the humming of the AC/Heat unit is fixed, we won't be back. It's horrible. We used to go to the Alliance location and were excited to have a KeKe's close to the house, so it's a big bummer. Please fix this so we can return. I'm hoping that if enough people bring this up, you guys will fix this issue. The poor hostess mentioned it gives her headaches sometimes, too. read more

The ambiance is one of the best things about this brunch place. The other places around are really noisy so this is a nice change. The food here is not special. I know they say they grind the coffee in house but it tasted like IHOP coffee and it's hard to drink out of a square mug. My chicken and waffles were good but the waffle was over done and dry and literally crumbled as I tried to cut it. The chicken was good and crispy and it was a good thing there was this spicy syrup. I got the cheesy grits as a side and they were bland and cogealed. Had to add salt and pepper and butter to get any flavor. Let's start with the okay, the food. Boring, tastes was nothing special, options for breakfast were very disappointing. This place seems to care more about trendy breakfast instead of hardy breakfast like the most simple biscuits and gravy. Which it did not have. Service was fair, however when the adults finished the waiter was pressuring us to leave while the kids were still eating. The place is clean and tidy and the ambiance seems family friendly but is not kid friendly, well under 4 anyway. I will not be returning. Which is sad because I was hoping for a good experience. Came here looking for new places. This place is new including the shopping center it's in. It was fairly busy but was seated quickly by hostess. We waited 10 minutes before someone came by to take our order and it was the manager who was very friendly. Guess they are still working things out. The server came shortly after. She was very friendly as well . Once we ordered the food came out fast. I ordered the Eggs Benedict and the wife got the Blueberry French Toast. The food was good nothing fancy. While the restaurant was clean and well designed the food was not worth the wait. We were a table of 6 so we had a longer wait than parties of 2 and 4. The waffle was CRISPY. The eggs Benedict was average. Not bad but not amazing. The blueberry pancakes were good. Pretty sure my waitress served me decaf and I wasn't served a refill until I was done with my food. We didn't try the French toast. $94 for a family of 6...40 minute wait (on a Sunday morning very popular time I know) and waffles I could make better at home. read more

So disappointed. My son in law and I were only customers. Drinks came quickly ($4 for a small cup of coffee) then waited 5 min for order to be taken while server chatted with a couple ladies that came in behind us. They talked about construction in the area and other things while we did everything to get her attention. The waffle that I ordered was warm at best but not warm enough to melt the cold butter. SIL had runny eggs that were luke warm. How can this happen when we were the ONLY ORDER IN THE KITCHEN? When the check arrived ($38 for breakfast for 2!!!) server never came back to process credit card. I finally left cash and left. This is Saginaw. You have to be better.
