I figured a MN themed restaurant would be just what the doctor ordered for a true Mud Duck. This place missed the mark. The decor is dark and it's obvious the establishment is geared towards bar gamblers. I came for the food, not the gambling. The waitress was quick to greet us (the place was empty) and was ready to take our order as quick as we were ready to give it. The cheese curds were the first thing out. I'm a cheese curd nut (Cheddar Head by birth), and these were good, but not great. Maybe we just got the bottom of the bag runt curds, but they were small. The flavor was unimpressive. The burger I got was a mess. I ordered it Medium rare and it came out well done. It was a preformed patty that was charred around the outside. There wasn't a sign of pink or moisture left in it. The patty melt that was ordered medium was half way to becoming jerky. It's too bad the food wasn't as good as the service. I won't be back. read more

I got kicked out of this place for having my phone notification on! After talking to the owner she said the bartender was offended because it was so loud. My phone notification is the Mario bros coin. I told her that I was spending my money on the machines and she said she didn't care. She said My phone was loud and people don't appreciate that. Having grown up in Minneapolis, I can say that this quaint comfortable establishment pretty much clones the MN bar/pub formula that I grew up with. I only met three people from MN there so it's got local fans. The day I was there, they were out of Walleye, (which was the reason I was there), so the next thing on the menu I got was Cheese Curds, they were good. I didn't see anything else that was uniquely MN so I tried the Sampler Platter. It was huge; definitely need four people to finish that dish. Everything tasted great! So normally I come here to have breakfast with co workers and the waitress here Tiffany she is kinda rude. Before she got here I was dealing with a young man who is always nice and helpful, He said goodbye because he was off. So Tiffany she ask what I wanted but before hand she said what are you having to drink I said I had a tequila sunrise she then says I know, what are you having to to eat I said you asked me what was I drinking. Then I told her what I was having as she asked me I said the steak and eggs medium rare eggs scrambled and an English muffin. Minnesota style bar and grill located across the street from the airport. My significant other, a Vikings fan, brought me, a Saints fan, here to watch the game. There was plenty of table and bar seating. The bar seating had video poker gaming. The food menu had some Minnesota favorites like cheese curds. They were delicious. Good midwestern type of bar and grill. The food is usually pretty good, the chicken fingers are enormous, and the drinks are adequate as well. I noticed that they have added some more draft beers to the menu which is always a good thing in my opinion. The prices tend to be a bit on the higher side of the spectrum but the portions are pretty large. We don't come here very often but it will remain on the potential places to go list for the future. My husband is from Minnesota & fished Walleyes all his life, so a Walleye dinner is a treat although it can't beat his freshest catch-of-the day he misses so much, so I take him here once a year to reminisce on things Viking & MN. The atmosphere is divish, which I like. They have a great ipa called citrus mistress. The TVs are great for watching the game. What turned me off is the fact that the bar tender said that they don't comp 5cent or 10cent games???! My wife was literally playing the 5 cent 20 card at $1 a play?!! And you don't comp?!!! Wow! A dollar a hand and they don't comp!..... Unbelievable.... We had the walleye and the food and service was excellent!! The one plate was so massive it was more than enough for both me and my wife.

I'm pleased that I came in here to try it out. Jennifer the waiters was awesome. Very insightful of the menu and did not lie when she said thier chicken fingers are the best. So most and the breading was so yummy. Prices are very reasonable for the amount of food they give you. It was dark and pool tables good atmosphere. I would definitely come back and bring friends or boyfriend. I'd recommend this bar food place anyday. Specially right across the airport when you can take your leftovers rrs and so watch the planes coming and going. read more

Best chicken Fingers in the world. That sounds like an over-sell but it's not. Before I had them at Ox, I thought Chicken Fingers were a "Kids Menu" thing but not anymore. This place may honestly have the absolute WORST Cheeseburger on the planet!!!! Asked for a medium burger. First off, it's a frozen, nasty piece of shoe leather. Told the waitress it was burnt and she argued with me that it was fine so I had to ask the manager for a new one. Told them to cook the next one medium rare, and it came out more burnt than the first one with a terrible taste! Had to coat the burger with so much mayo so the charred leather wouldn't stick in my throat! Disgusting excuse for a burger and watched the angry cook re-cook the burger. Stay away!!! On November 7, 2018 We've been here twice and enjoyed the experience but not this time. I came back to this place with my husband one morning to have coffee. As we had our coffee, I used the glass cup for empty creamers and used stir sticks to avoid leaving a mess on the counter. The bartender (amber) got an attitude and walked away with a glass, once she came back with a clean glass and new creamers, she told me to" NOT DO THAT AGAIN " I was shock and disbelief. Service was good and I ordered the chicken fried steak which was good, but the menu said the potatoes was real mashed potatoes and they tasted like instant potatoes to me. No butter in them for sure.
