    Beef drip
    Desiree S.

This place ALWAYS hits the spot!! I go here quite a bit because I'm obsessed with their famous beef drip. The meat is always seasoned just right and it's never dry it's so juicy half the time I forget to use the au jus gravy. The service is always fast and super friendly. I get greeted every time I enter and when I leave. They have plenty of tables to sit and the establishment is always very clean.

Loooooove!! My friend Jim and i go here occasionally during the week for lunch, it's a nice walking distance from my work. My absolute favorite is the tomato bisque, Jim likes the chicken poblano with a side salad. the restaurant is cute and well sized, the music is not overly obnoxious or loud. everyone here knows Jim well and is so kind to us, regardless if you're a regular or not that's the treatment you'll get. really recommend this place!!

I had only been to Take 2 A few times before. Once was for a Yelp event. A coworker suggested it and I was excited because I remembered it being good. I also keep forgetting that they are right down the block from my work. And I really need to remember that because I think their mission is fantastic. There were five of us that went and we had fast service and got our food pretty quickly. I had the grilled cheese and tomato soup. The bread was nice and caramelized and there was a good ratio of cheese. The soup was okay but kind of bland. I would get it again but I'm interested in trying other dishes that they offer next time. Their curry chicken salad looked really good. I'm sure I will go here many times with my lunch group when I'm in the office.

Located in downtown Tulsa, Kai Vietnamese Cuisine offers customers authentic Vietnamese food with a modern atmosphere. The restaurant is the only Vietnamese restaurant that offers a bar serving alcohol. The Vietnamese pho at Kai was delicious. The broth was savory and aromatic. The pho vegetables plate was bountiful. My favorite aspect of the soup was the pho noodles, just soft enough to maintain that springy texture that's so difficult to achieve. The fresh spring rolls were also excellent. Kai does not shy from giving customers jumbo size spring rolls. I also love the hot tea served at this restaurant which uses dried tea leaves. If there's a criticism with Kai, it would be the lack of variety of meats in their combination pho which only had 3 different meats, far fewer than what's standard for this dish.

The food quality was excellent, and the staff were warm, friendly, and welcoming from the moment we arrived. One of the most unique parts of the visit was learning that the person seated at the table next to us was the previous owner. She is still a regular customer, and her photo is proudly displayed on the wall in the restaurant. That says a lot about the history, loyalty, and character of this place. I also accidentally left my credit card behind and did not realize it until about an hour and a half later. I called the restaurant, and the management immediately helped resolve the issue. They kindly arranged to mail it to my home in Los Angeles, and I have now received it safely. That level of honesty and customer care is rare. A special thank you to the management for handling everything so professionally, and to Heather for her kindness, attentiveness, and outstanding service. Highly recommend this spot for great breakfast, quality food, welcoming atmosphere, and a team that truly cares about its customers.

I was deciding between MisFits & another location so I texted a friend to make the final decision. Long story short, she chose MisFits & we met around 1pm. From what I've been recommended, my/our experience was pretty aligned with what I had heard. Random summer Thursday. Perfect for a good lunch. I was familiar with where MisFits was but never walked inside. Considering that other downtown locations either are on a one-way street, are in busier areas or have less parking availability, the location is relatively convenient. I parked right in front of the restaurant & entered an enamoring space. The entrance leads into a hallway with the host toward the end. Once past the "host hall," the interior is 80% modern, 20% retro. Filled with booths, clear lanes and a good mix of seating options. The lighting is perfectly balanced with large windows for natural light to be let in with other fixtures filling the gaps. We sat in the large "L" shaped booth & our server was with us almost immediately (there were only 2 other tables sat at the time). Of all the menus I've observed, MisFits may have the most efficient offerings ever. There's not tons of variety but it didn't feel limited either. Classic American Favorites, Only. While our server was wrapping up with the other 2 tables, I reluctantly decided on the 1/2 Sandwich (The Wifey) 1/2 Soup (Rotisserie Chicken Tortilla Soup) with Sweet Potato Fries while my friend ordered the B.B. Burger & normal fries. The food came out relatively quickly, less than 10mins after placing the order. The chicken sandwich was good but I was more surprised at how hearty & flavorful the soup was! It made me want to order a full order of nachos. My friend stated that her burger was good except the bacon was thicker & chewier than she would have liked (but she's picky). We conversed for another 20-30mins afterwards but I think we were both satisfied with our meals. Overall, I believe that MisFits has almost the perfect name: it's located downtown but still seems to be one of the more underrated restaurants in the district. If you want above-average American food & don't want to pay above average prices, this is the place to go. I'd be happy to revisit in the evening to see the full luminary experience.
