Phill sold the restaurant to Tim after owning the place for 23 years in 2020 when COVID hits its peak. After buying the place, Tim has never bothered to change the name on Yelp but the name has been changed to Tim's Diner on Google. All the employees are a little of "older" age and I love that. The only thing I don't like here is the tip system. You pay at the cashier in the front who will ask you if you would like to add a tip then the cashier would add a tip in for you and you don't have to sign anything. I prefer if they just charge me for the amount and give me the merchant copy and I can add a tip in myself. The way they're doing it puts pressure on their customers to tip. This diner has Tim's $8 favorites menu which is one of the best features, making breakfast very affordable. The food is delicious.
