The service is always friendly. They try and give the best estimated time for your seafood, but are always pleasant and update you if it's taking longer. The crabs and shrimp have always been quality! Consistent every time. Be sure to look for the $6 large males on Fridays!

** le sigh ** Where do I begin... I was a faithful customer of Blue Point a little less than 10 years ago and bad customer service happened repeatedly and ran me into the arms of another crab place. Well 10 years later, I decided to try again. I heard mixed reviews but one of the positives were from a good friend. I went and ordered1/2 dozen of medium male crabs but was told that the small/ medium/ large crabs were mixed together for $2 each. Great! I was most delightfully surprised when I saw they have a full menu of seafood as well as poultry items. This must be great right? I called in order half dozen of crabs is well as a catfish sandwich. The food was ready on time as promised. That's a plus, the atmosphere was much better than I remembered it being. Someone did a great job with their vision for how this place should look and it looks great. They have all types of cold salads, fresh seafood, etc. I get home and eat my catfish sandwich and crabs. It was ok, plentiful. Ohhh the catfish sandwich, I swear they put 2 - 3 pieces on top each other, it was so large and good. Cooked very well and seasoned perfectly. It came with a bag of chips. Next I went to eat my crabs. They looked ok, the seasoning was good. The crabs tasted a little old and smelled kind of fishy. I would say the crabs were bad, edible I guess. There were a good size. For them to be mixed, I feel like I definitely received more of the larger crabs than small. Although it's been awhile since I last visited, the crabs were better back then. Customer service is much better now, so I will revisit because I want to try more of their food items. That's all I got for this review.

I ordered a half bushel medium blue crabs for $150. I'm a MD native but haven't had crabs in over a year as I live out of state now. They were great... good sized and meaty. The employee even walked my crabs out to my car for me.

Super large crab inside the bag of size small male crabs. Thanks!!

I was on reisterstown rd in Owings mills and decided to get some crabs. I called all of my usual crab spots and no one had crabs. This place only had small males for $35/doz.. I ordered 2 doz and 1lb of steamed shrimp. The customer service was awesome. I dealt with a Caucasian guy, stocky with a beard. The other guy was older and bald with glasses. They both were nice and helpful while I was undecided on what I wanted to order. The crabs were flavorful and big for smalls. They even threw in some bigger ones. The steamed shrimp was amazing! My mother got some seafood salad. It was delicious. My overall experience was great, I will be back. I will add this place to my list of favorites.

I'll start by saying I am an out of towner and come around here a couple times a year to visit family. Every time we come, we HAVE to get some authentic Maryland steamed crabs! We came here to Blue Point last October and we're very pleased with everything! It's not April and even though crabs are not in season at this time, these crabs were super delicious! Definitely worth the price we paid! No complaints here!

Ordered a bushel of large males (around $320) here for Mother's Day and they were great! They were meaty and the flavor was really good (not too much seasoning but not too little). Of course because of COVID their ordering process is different than usual, but I really appreciated how efficient they were. The service is always good when I come here, so I will continue to support them.

I really wanted my first crab picking event of the season to be good. I signed up for store promotions the day before and received a text for a Monday special ($3 mediums). I did my due diligence and called another crab house near by and this was indeed a great deal. I called and asked if I could place an order over the phone (for steamed crabs) and was told no. I think this is a fair practice bc if someone doesn't show then crabs have been steamed w/out a buyer. I live nearby so less than a 10 min drive and I was in the store requesting the special. I over hear the young lady ask the male worker if the mediums were still available. He responded yes and said something like "she's not coming." To me this means maybe someone inquired but hadn't arrived. I would estimate about 5-7 minutes after ordering my 2 dozen were ready. The bag was hot but this seemed super quick and I wondered if they were reheated. I had 4 of the 24 and my BF ate the rest. 3/4 were good and 1/4 was meh, all the claw meat was black. This was odd to me and again I questioned how fresh they actually were. I am a straight up "mustard" girl. The more the better. By the time I made it home (roughly 15 mins from pickup) my beloved mustard was firm, not runny. Again I questioned how fresh they were. All in all, inflation is real and I believe the deal fair. I can't say they are the best mediums I've had but this deal satisfied my crab craving.

Wish I could do no stars ... i called and ordered " cream of crab soup " and it was more of " cream of throw up " . The soup was literally thick & has no color to it and tasted disgusting!! . It tasted like it was three days old . I'm highly disappointed. I literally wanted to throw up once I opened it .

I'm definitely going to order from Wegmans again, especially those items. They were perfect! But back to the store itself. They will pretty much have everything you need. They have some of my favorite items like frozen jasmine rice in individual packets. You can get them in white or brown. They're both delicious. I also love the frozen vegetables. They have the best selection of frozen vegetables. Especially frozen spinach. Most grocery stores only give you the champ. Spinach, Wegmans will give you the whole leaf frozen spinach. I love that. And their quinoa cakes are divine. They're frozen vegetables and foods. Selection is top notch!

The quality of the seafood for the price point was great! The restaurant is pretty small but they have a nice flow to service and seemed to manage it well. We didn't have a long wait when we arrived and the food came out quick but the small waiting area was packed by the time we were leaving so I would suggest trying it earlier rather than later. Now let's get into the food. We started with the Banging Salmon Bites and they were very delicious. Seasoned to perfection. I'm not the biggest fan of bang bang sauce and I was expecting the bites to come tossed in sauce but it was drizzled on top which I actually appreciated so I could control the amount of sauce on my bite. Next time I will ask for it on the side but I did really like it. The salmon was juicy and flavorful. For my entree I did the build your own combo with a pound of snow crab legs and 1/2 pound of headless shrimp. The combo comes with 1 corn and two potatoes and I added additional corn which was two more pieces. I had the yard mix sauce which is a combination of all of the sauces together and it was delicious. Not overly salty but actually flavorful. I did medium spice level I think next time I'll try the hot. The medium was not spicy enough for me. The seafood comes out on a hot sizzling plate which is a nice touch and actually helps keep the seafood warm longer. The drinks were also a really good price and pretty strong. Overall I really enjoyed the food will def be back to try some more menu options and maybe happy hour. Only deducted one star because our server was lacking a bit but not terrible. He just seemed to need some more training but he may have just been new.

Today I was taking my dad around and he wanted to stop here for a late lunch or early dinner. He had a craving for some oysters. Unfortunately they did not have any oysters in stock. We still decided to stay and dine in though. The restaurant area isn't very large. After coming in we seated ourselves. Within a few minutes a waitress came over and took our drink orders. We also ordered cups of cream of crab soup as an appetizer. For our main courses I had the 6.5 oz crab cake platter and my father went with the 4 oz crab cake platter. You get two sides included. I ordered the onion rings and mixed vegetables while my dad went with onion rings and cole slaw. The crab cakes were good. Had a good flavor and not full of filler. The cream of crab soup was also delicious. Had me craving more. Plenty of lump crab meat in it. A bowl would probably fill me up as a meal. The onion rings were nice and crispy just like I like them. Mixed vegetables were nothing special. Just steamed veggies with not seasoning. Service was fast and friendly. Everyone was so very nice and made it a comfortable visit. I will definitely be back and so happy my father wanted to stop in this day.

It came with what looked like a spoonful of grits, which was disappointing. We mentioned it to our waitress, and she brought us some extra grits to go, which I appreciated. The crab cake benny was decent, but the crab cake itself didn't have much flavor. The $12 coffee mocktail also wasn't worth the price in my opinion. We ended up ordering the beignets for dessert, but had to send them back because they were raw in the middle. The service was okay but it could definitely be better.
