Poor selection Prices too high Only one other table In restaurant at lunch time, after seeing the selection and prices I see why. Cleaning lacking. Crust was so tough it would not cut with a fork.

This review is for their food truck. I've eaten Home Slice for quite a few years now. They used to come to my job weekly so I've had my hefty share of their pizza. Solid...nothing amazing, but far from bad or even mediocre. The pizza is real cheesy and fairly large slices. The crust/dough isn't too floppy nor does it quite stand on its own though. The pepperoni is primarily what I have and it's good. Their truck is almost always around any food truck event or normally can find them at some local brewery. It's VERY fast, which I appreciate. Recently had their wings and it's above average - good crisp, but wish it had more garlic & Parmesan for that respective flavor. Would recommend.

I always carried pizza out on weekend. [[HIGHLIGHT]]This small pizza house is amazing.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Pizza is just perfect and side dishes are really good.

The pizza was good nothing special. The salad was shredded lettuce which was odd to me. The ranch was really good. It wasn't super clean- lots of sticky surfaces.

Stopped in for lunch and what a good choice it was. Two monster pepperoni slices, a huge tossed salad, and a drink were so reasonably priced. I really liked the NY style crust and the blue cheese dressing was nicely done. Tangy and thick. The dining room had nice booths and several TV's. I also noticed the restrooms were very clean. Always a good sign.

I took a bite before I took the photo, sorry I was hangry :)

$6.75 for a one slice, side and a drink lunch special. Great deal. The pizza slice was very large. Not the best pizza I've had (as to why no five stars) but still good. You order at the counter and take a seat and they'll call you when your order is ready. Ours was ready super fast. I would come back again for the lunch special - great deal!

I love Homeslice... the restaurant... the food truck... love it all! We were able to get the lunch special 2 slices + drink for dinner which was nice! Food came out very quickly and as always delicious. My only complaint and why I didn't give it 5 stars was the cashier at the front. I went up to get a to go box and waiting a few mins before she even noticed me standing there because she was busy texting.

Frank's hot sauce tossed chicken tenders. Spicy, crunchy and delicious!

Great value with the lunch specials here, all under $10 which includes a drink. The side salad is quite large and enough for a meal if you're not super hungry. I love their Dagwood sub, their chicken strips tossed in Frank's and their gigantic chef's salad, always fresh with quality meats and cheese. I haven't tried the pizza here yet, shame on me. I love all of the other offerings on the extensive menu but next time pizza will be sampled. The staff is friendly and the food comes out of the kitchen fairly quickly. Tip: they have a punch card which will get you a free lunch! Great deal.

    Where's the mushroom?

Last time we ordered delivery driver carried the pie like a envelope and it all ended up in the bottom of the box. This time. Cold. Cooked too hot. Crust is good but all topping are not cooked and pull off. Pepperoni and mushroom...

We got the Bianca and one of the salami pies and both were excellent. The Bianca is the sleeper pick. No sauce, just fior di latte and big spoonfuls of ricotta with crisped basil and olive oil. Rich without being heavy, and the ricotta stays cool and creamy against the hot cheese. The salami pie was the opposite energy -- wide, spicy slices that render right into the sauce. Crust on both had that leopard-spotted char and real chew. The space is half the appeal. Old mill building with exposed brick, wood ceilings, long communal picnic tables, Italian flags, and a powder-blue Vespa parked by the door. You order at the counter, grab a seat, and they call you up. Casual and loud in a good way -- great for a group. Fair warning: no half-toppings, no substitutions, and everything comes well done. Lean into it. Also worth noting they'll sell you a frozen 12-inch to take home.

Don't dress up for this casual place, they serve wine in little juice glasses. Just like my Italian relatives did. The pizza itself was as close to NYC pizza, but it does miss the boat with the distribution of ingredients. We ordered the Livorno pizza. Each slice was a venture, some had sauce, some didn't. You may or may not get sausage. One slice had the golden ticket, sauce, sausage, cheese and basil! The crust was delicious, just like the pizza I ate 5 days ago in NYC. The sauce wasn't as good in comparison, but it was still very good. We may be back again.

The vibe here reminds me of "Cheers," where everyone knows your name. The restaurant is in a 1950s renovated service station and was transformed into a neighborhood bar. I like the large glass windows and copper ceiling tiles in the dining area. There is a bar next to the dining area, and some outdoor seating, too. They even have a parking lot in the front and another in the back of the restaurant. You seat yourself, and someone will bring you a menu. Since I discovered this hidden gem a few years ago, when all the other restaurants were closed around New Year's Eve except for Corner Slice and Fisher's Grill, I make a point of returning again and again, as I just love it here. It is usually my first stop in town, and I look forward to my large margherita pizza with balsamic glaze. I'm not sure why I look at the menu, as I always order the same thing. But I am still given time to look over the menu, just in case. The pizza has a thin, crispy crust that was so good I managed to eat all but two slices! I highly recommend adding the glaze; it really makes the flavors pop. A lot of the specialty pizzas are named after neighborhood streets. The Elm, Bessemer, Hendrix, Leftwich, Isabel, and Magnolia. The Park and Fishers Finest are named after the area. The neighborhood bar has 14 rotating beer taps. There is a large selection of appetizers, including wings, grilled cheese, chicken tenders and some dips. If you aren't in the mood for pizza, they have a good variety of salads and subs. Service is top-notch here, and the staff is so welcoming and attentive. The prices are reasonable, too. I like that they brought out a plate and silverware with the pizza tray. I am already looking forward to my next margherita pizza. If I lived closer, I'd be eating here every week!

The food menu offers a solid variety as well, including appetizers, salads, meatballs, pasta, and of course their wood fired pizzas. The brick oven is huge and puts out some serious heat! I went with the Rustica on this visit. Prosciutto, mushrooms, roasted garlic cloves, artichoke hearts, and kalamata olives. Everything was portioned well and the flavors were great. The crust leaned just a tad bit dry and well done, but overall it was a very tasty pizza I'd happily order again. Brixx is a strong option for a quick lunch, happy hour with friends, or a relaxed outing with family. I'm glad I finally tried it and I could definitely see myself returning.
