Sir Pizza is, well, Sir Pizza. If you grew up in the area eating it, then you almost certainly love it. If you are from out of town or didn't grow up here, it is an acquired taste in my mouth experience. Start with the simple pepperoni and mushrooms and you can't go wrong, especially if you add extra cheese. I prefer The Royal Feast or a Deluxe, but the rest of my family thinks they have too many toppings. Delivery is good, but their pizza is best experienced fresh in the restaurant. They do have a salad bar that is kinda basic, but basic is all you need when you have good pizza. read more

Their niche is a great, thin crust pizza and all the toppings are diced. The food was fantastic! I even enjoyed a salad bar trip. The salad bar was well stocked and very neat and clean. Poor service. Last night, I took my mom to Sir Pizza in High Point. I usually get takeout, but we decided to dine in this time. I was excited because it had been over 38 years since I last ate inside since high school. Walking in, I realized nothing had changed--I'm pretty sure they haven't remodeled since then. Our waitress approached us without menus and asked, "What do you want?" Luckily, we already knew--one large Royal Feast. Our drinks arrived with two napkins, a mini plate, and a plastic spoon, and our ticket. Then came our pizza. I asked if they had a pizza server, and she looked confused before asking, "Would you like a fork?" I later checked online-- a pizza server costs $1.79. We started digging into our pizza, which was good, but one napkin each didn't last long. I had to get up and grab more napkins myself. Our waitress never returned. Eventually, we had to ask another waitress for refills. When I inquired about our server, the other waitress replied, "Oh, she's new--today is her first day." Surprised, I asked if she was shadowing anyone or receiving any training. "Oh no, she can handle it," was the response. Wow. Just wow. The pizza was $25, two teas were $4, and yet we received no service. I understand that prices have gone up, but that should be reflected in better training and improvements. Best pizza in the whole world to me! Of all the cities & states I've lived, I continue to crave Sir Pizza & have to go once or twice every time I'm back "home". My go to is half pepperoni, half hamburger but I also love adding onion or getting the supreme pizza. I often order my pizza "crispy". The salad bar is also the best! Lots of toppings. The servers often recall your order and are so sweet, just like the delicious tea. I appreciate that the ambiance has remained the same since the 80s as it provides a familiarity that makes me feel good. Only suggestion -- take a jacket with you. It's sprays cold inside. read more

How has it been 3 1/2 years working down the block and I finally got around to ordering a pizza for delivery? Tired of some of the same meals I ordered a medium veggie pie online and added jalapenos. I wasn't sure what to expect so that helped. What I got was a great round pie that was thin crust - but not so thin as to be cracker-like (Dominos and Marcos). It was fresh and loaded with veggies - they do not skimp! The pie arrived hot and maybe the only thing I'd do differently is asking to cut it in triangles rather than squares. Sir Pizza is a local pizza chain that looks like it would be in an episode of Stranger Things. Very dated interior but has all the charm and nostalgia you would hope a local chain would have. I'm going to be really honest- I LOVE Sir Pizza pizza however I think this is because it was a treat when I was visiting out of town family here growing up. I have yet to introduce it to someone who doesn't have the blast from the past vibe when eating it that liked it. Their chef salad salad is large enough for two people and I would use the term "chef" loosely here. Lettuce, egg, cheese, croutons and ham. Still yummy though! I've always thought their pasta was really good when you're craving pizza place pasta if you know what I mean. My favorite thing about Sir Pizza is that you can divide the toppings however you want. Food not delivered. Estimated wait time was 45 minutes. After 1.5 hours, we called to check. They LOST THE ORDER. They offered a 10% discount- an absolute joke. As an owner; I would've comped the meal and apologized profusely. Instead, the store blamed the, "new computer system." Long time customers like us have no reason to order in the future. 10%? Really? Not all pizza places are the same , and that holds true for SirPizza. Out of the 4 locations that I have visited (high point, thomasville, Asheboro) this is my favorite. My recommendation is to have your pizzas cooked a little extra for that crispy crust. DON'T SLEEP ON THEIR DEEP DISH option or their salad bar. Sir Pizza is a great place to grab pizza. I personally love sir pizza and all of the varieties and options they offer. They are also accommodating to allergies as well. I have celiac disease and I have found so pizza a great place to order from. They offer a cauliflower crust and will clean the oven upon request. For me this was a must. This Sir pizza has always been a good place to eat vs the Sir pizza in Thomasville, been coming to get pizza here for as long as I can remember (when there was still Libby Hill next door)! The woman who was our waitress last night was super sweet, can't remember her name but she was a young woman with braids down to her back and she had a headband that pulled her hair back. Today was my first time eating at Sir Pizza and it was all that I ever imagined it to be. I was invited to lunch with friends and they already ordered by the time I arrived. We had a large deluxe pizza and sodas all around. I took a glance at the salad bar and it didn't look sad, but it was very small... not worth the cost. Our server was the only one in the restaurant and she was HUSTLING! She deserved every penny of her tip. She checked on us multiple times, refilled us, was very kind and sweet to our baby (who was making a mess of crackers at the table) and got us to-go boxes without being asked. I haven't had sir pizza in years! There were not any locations in Tampa and I have dearly missed sir pizza. The high point location is bigger than my hometown location. This location has a sitting area and salad bar. The lunch special is a bargain. 1 individual 1 topping pizza for $4.25, cant beat that. The service was great, food was hot & fresh, & served pretty quickly for it to be peak lunchtime hours. I will definitely be back as this brought all types of " younger year" feels today.
