Nice little Polish store and bakery. Note: I'm not Polish so I can't tell you how legitimate this was , but I did like that most of the items seem to be with Polish labels. They had an entire freezer of pieroghi! They are about $8 each so not cheap but they had a lot of options. Got the classic cheese and potato as well as some flaky jam cookies. Cookies were fine when I got home but somewhat bland - tasted like they were made with shortening and little else. Note on pictures - I went late afternoon so most of the fresh baked goods had already sold out.

Very Nice lady at the front, very clean, good chocolate (not melted), very good blueberry bread (doesn't come out hot tho), smells amazing, good fruit tarts as well. Over all just so nice and I love it

This place definitely deserves 5 starts! They have an amazing polish style bread, cakes and paczki with faworki!!! Truely traditional and delicious!! My favorite though is the whole rye bread - healthy and delicious Hurry! This bread sell like crazy! Btw, they also have polish groceries!

My coworker is Polish and asked me if I was going to be celebrating Fat Tuesday with some paczkis. I was a bit embarrassed to admit I'd never had them before, but these Polish donuts are definitely worth a try. Lawrenceville is quite a trek from Dunwoody, but I knew nothing would stop me from picking up what he claimed to be the best and most authentic. We stopped in after lunch and found the selection to still have quite a variety. We picked out a few paczkis and a slice of Black Forest cake. The paczkis reminded me of a typical donut but not as sweet, which was refreshing. The Black Forest cake was moist but a bit disappointing, flavor wise. I definitely recommend the paczkis, though! Affordably priced and tasty! My favorite was the strawberries and cream! There didn't look like there was much of a place to sit and eat - mostly just a to-go shop. I didn't get a chance to peruse the rest of the grocery store, which looked to have a variety of Polish products. Next time I'm back in Lawrenceville!

Small little bakery that can be easily missed but I've passed this area so much that I got curious. It not only is a Polish bakery but a small convenience store for polish products, pretty cool. By the time we got there a lot of their baked goods were gone and were didn't try the lunches but it is definitely a place I would go back to. What we got was good and the young lady up front was super nice.

What a nice little find! I was looking for a sandwich for lunch and hadn't been to subway in years. Fortunately right next door to Subway was the Grand Polish Bakery and Deli, which was slammed with traffic. I had to check it out! The first thing you'll notice is this isn't a restaurant. It's first and foremost a bakery/deli/grocery store, so there are no seats or tables inside or outside. Don't let this stop you from coming in. Their bakery and cakes are displayed, all look delicious and are made fresh. There's also meals you can buy, and after checking the menu, I got their Turkey sandwich combo ($6.59). The fact that you get a full sandwich, chips, drink of your choice AND your choice of dessert for under 7 bucks is already worth 3.5 stars, but what about the flavors? Well, the sandwich, which comes with mustard, mayo, lettuce, tomato, onion and a full sweet pickle, was delicious! I loved the fresh bread and just alone the sandwich was filling. I had a generic bag of chips (you don't get to select your chips). You DO get to select your beverage from one of the coolers in the back. What's holding Grand Polish Bakery and Deli back from 5 stars for me was their dessert. I asked for what was their best seller, and they suggested the napoleon. It was beautiful in presentation, and really a slice with a heft and size that you might expect them to charge double for (don't tell them that!). Here's the problem...while it was fresh, and sweet, the flavors were simply "okay" to me, and I much preferred the sandwich to the Napoleon. Located in the tiny strip that contains subway just before the intersection of Pike street and old norcross road, parking is limited here, and in fact I had to park in the rear. There's a couple of exits, one being a red light, but getting out isn't bad. Customer service was great, quick and friendly, and I 100% want to give 5 stars, but I can't...yet! All it takes is another pastry selection to add that fifth star, but in the meantime, do check out this hidden in plain site gem of a place to grab a really flavorful and REALLY good deal!

No pastrami at noon? Cabbage rolls reheated by microwave and doused in ketchup? I won't be back.

I HAVE to tell you the story about our wedding cake! Tom and Jeannine with "It Takes the Cake…read moreLawrenceville" are SUCH dear people and I could not be HAPPIER that they made our cake!!! --------- 1: Jeannine and I corresponded through email and ironed out all the particulars of the flavors they offer. 2: Tom baked the samples and they tied them up in a ribbon, cupcakes with many different flavors for us to take home and try out. 3: They drove 3 hours to deliver it! I moved to NW GA from NE, and they didn't even hesitate to transport it all the way to where our wedding ceremony was. 4: We left a few flowers on the cake table in a jar and Jeannine decorated it BEAUTIFULLY. I absolutely ~adored~ how it turned out. They are artistic in more ways than one. 5: It was soooooo good. I can't even tell you how many times I have thought about it since. I need to place a continuous order for our birthdays and holidays etc. 6: And extra extra! They didn't depend on us snagging the top layer for the future, they brought us a COMPLETELY NEW tiny cake top, all wrapped up for our first anniversary- that is neatly tucked away in our freezer; we'll see how long it lasts though... Colton wants to save it, but I highly doubt it will still be there on May 3rd of next year, it sitting there calling my name and all... 7:Months later after the wedding - our guests and family are STILL talking about how "out of this world" our wedding cake was... is that even normal??? ---------- Can't recommend them enough! They are dear souls. Every conversation I've ever had with them - I have been lifted up and encouraged in the Lord. Love you guys so much! Senator & Mrs Hailey Ann Moore

What I got was approximately 20 large square cakes (approximately 5" squares). The vendor attributed the shortage to having dropped the others in transit. The product was unique, however it consisted of a hard, thick, 3/4" shell that was difficult to cut and cake inside that was not freshly made. My intention was for the guest to have one or more bite sized cakes. What I got was a monstrosity that my guests did not know how to attack. Some tried in vain to cut a piece, others were confused as to whether they should take the whole "brick". Im not one to regularly write reviews but in this case a very negative review is warranted. If I could give ZERO stars, I would.

This truly deserves NO STARS…read more I ordered this cake for my beautifuls 1st Birthday and was so damn disappointed. This so called baker stated she could do what i asked for and paid $212 for up front...but this is what i got. 1st off i picked 2 cakes from your pictures of cakes you claimed to have already done once, couldn't have been your real pictures cause this sure aint not one of those pictures. The ears had mf card board glued on the back of them to stand the up, the icing around this red black and white cake was yellow very noticeable yellow as you can see through the plastic they were not full Circles. The bow on her head was broken there is no Happy Birthday as i asked for to be places on the cake plate with what down there, there are glued letters on the cake plate where is the icing writing? Not to mention the picture im use to them being edible like the cake not a piece of printed paper on my damn cake i could have done that myself! I asked for ChocolaIte Fudge and got a light brown cake thats was dry with no taste noone took a bite but my sister and i and we both spit it right back out the cake was delivered to me frozen im like wtf is it frozen...but ok i instantly texted the baker and said Good Morning! There are some things missing on my daughter's cake she called and i qent over everything that was qrong and missing at this point i had not cut the cake cause it was delivered a day early she offered a partial refund. I told her then i hope it still tasted good. Booooy was i livid on yesterday when we cut that cake as you can see from the picture the whole cake was trashed right after cutting it. The icing dsint even melt in you mouth and we all know buttercream should melt on contact! No that you truly messed up my childs 1st bday leaving me to run and find a 10 dollar cake from kroger to replace this bs you sold me I need a full Refund. Asap
