blue saigon is a Pittsburg favorite, and they got some of the best food. this last time i tried my favorite: garlic noodles with shrimp and chicken. it is a great portion of noodles, spicy, covered with plenty shrimp and chicken wings. my wings gotta be lemon pepper! don't sleep on the Warrior Dog either: it's loaded with sauce and proudly reps the Bay Area. once you order, you can wait indoors or head back to your car, and your card will sound off to pick it up! blue saigon stay ballin'

Tried the mango lemonade spicy garlic Parmesan wings and garlic noodles. Enough food to feed 2-3 people. 8 wings and good portion of garlic noodles. While I waited for my order several people ordered fried rice- might try this next time. Food was decent, nothing to write home about. Service was helpful with pointing out popular items and sizing of portions. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Ambiance is an order and take away. They do have indoor seating but it is very limited.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Restrooms on site as well.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

I see why things change over and over at this place, year after year. Then the other flimsy container full of food everything just fell out everywhere. This was a waste of $85. The $7 drinks, like the 50/50 omg! They charge you extra if you don't want ice. Bottom line, I asked for grilled shrimp with a char, I received some fried shrimp. So not only was shrimp and chicken piled into the ton of noodles the grease was also in the box gross .

I did see two tables so maybe you can dine in.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] So many things to choose from but they're definitely known for there garlic butter noodles which is garlicky delicious with there candy chicken wings which was FIRE! Did not realize they had a spicy candy version which I can't wait to go back and try. You can order 5 or 8 wings combo. The food is on point 10/10 recommend. Customer service was great after you order they give you a pager to let you know when your order is ready! Must try and enjoy!

We definitely love coming here. The food is always great, fresh & good portions. The staff greets you when you walk in and always open for questions and suggestions. We always order ahead because it can be a wait. Glad to see this business still operating and popular after all these years. There were a ton of people coming in and out for lunch, and alot of online and phone orders. A big tray of wings were ordered too! I got the chance to visit here, and I bought a fish burrito. It was great. It is true Viet fusion with the banh mi ingredients wrapped in a tortilla. Loved it a ton. I remember the warrior dog was delicious and the wings are great too. I enjoy the nostalgia of eating here, and I hope I can come back whenever I am in this area. I ordered on door dash and the flavors weren't compromised at all. Delicious! Garlic noodles are prob the best on this side of town and the spicy lemon pepper wings are some of the best I've had. Wings were fried hard without me even having to ask. We love that!

Let me first say that the food was incredible and good. The garlic noodles were tasty - they used thick Shanghai noodles, and the oyster sauce flavor came through, although I would say they could use more garlic. For the protein we got one with candy wings, which were good, and another with sisig, which I think was better than the wings although I thought the sisig was a bit too ginger-forward. But all in all their food was still super delicious. With that said, the service was beyond terrible. We waited about 40 mins for our food, to the point we almost gave up, but couldn't because we had to pay in advance so we already paid. Also they provided no free water - you gotta pay for bottled water. What restaurant in the Bay Area doesn't offer free water? [[HIGHLIGHT]]Ambiance was also not the best. Only a few seats available, and the kitchen played music from their boombox so loud we couldn't even hear ourselves speak[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]].

Came here to eat lunch at the infamous YouTuber My Nguyen brother's restaurant. The menu is a mix between Filipino and Chinese cuisine. Service was quick as it wasn't busy but its a smaller restaurant so ppl typically order to go here. We decided to dine in and ordered their garlic noodles, sweet fried chicken, and tried the peach and watermelon summer drink special. The fried chicken and noodles has a resemblance to San Tung restaurant in SF. I was quite surprised how similar it tasted. The combination of both the fried chicken and garlic noodles was a pleasant mouth bomb of flavors. We tried the fish tacos too and omg the fish was seasoned and batter was light but crispy. It reminded me of Vietnamese banh xeo batter in how it was light and crispy. I really loved all the food we got. I would love to come back and try more off their menu.

Love the wings! The lemon pepper is the best lemon pepper in the bay. A wonderful crunch and not too lemon peppery. They have great prices and the service is usually really good. I have ordered informally and as a large group and both times it was a good experience. They took my order the day before and even had it ready right after opening time so I didn't have to wait too long. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Small but mighty. Got 2 thai tea to go. They charges .50 for no ice and .25 for light ice without letting you know there is extra charge. I just found out after I read my receipt... I normally wouldn't mind paying if they let me know when I put in my order, but letting me find out afterward just made me feel like I got ripped off. Told my co workers about this, they also thought that was wrong. Glad I am not the only one feeling this way. read more

Been going here for a few years now. I used to work a few blocks away and BS would be my go to spot at least 2 times a week. Food is consistently great every time I go. The staff is friendly, attentive and moves with purpose. I had the pleasure of meeting the owners and could tell right of the bat that they are passionate about there business. I usually do a Warrior dog and some garlic noodles. The wings are good as well and I personally like the fact that they are all wingettes. Sadly I don't make it out to Pittsburg very much these days but when I do I always make it a point to stop in and support a great local business. read more

Garlic noodles were good. The friend chicken wings were good, but lacked a little salt - the sweetness was the dominant flavor (thus called candy wings), but I would have enhanced a little more savoriness to a chicken wing. Overall it was good. I understand that the cooking in the background is cranking orders, but the front/counter staff could be a little more customer oriented. The guy saw us and made eye contact, but no acknowledgement that he would be there to help us. I understand he's busy helping out in the back, but a simple, will be right with you would have been nice. read more

This place is just OK. Super slow service. We walked into an empty restaurant and it rook them 20 minutes to get our food ready. The food is not terrible. We had the sisig fries, sisig fried rice, garlic noodles, pork bahn mi, candy fried chicken, and pot stickers. It's more of a place for college kids or stoners. Maybe if you are working on refining your pallet, this would be a good place to start. The food definitely looks better than it tastes. read more

I've been here multiple times in the past for to-go orders but this is the first time reviewing because the last few times I've been there were not great experiences but i know that's not who they are as a company and i didn't want to tarnish their name with a bad review. Anyways today i went back after almost a year and my experience was back on par with what i expect from blue Saigon. The cashier at the window (Ashley) was great i went to the wrong window to order originally and she nicely corrected me without making me feel embarrassed l placed my order and she answered all the questions i had along the way. I ordered garlic noodles with candy wings and candy prawns it was about 24 bucks plus tip and i was told it would take 20 mins. I'm sure it took more than 20 mins but not by much i ran across the way to Starbucks while i waited so I'm not sure exactly how long it took. The food was hot and looked delicious when i got it back to concord. The food was good the wings were crispy and sticky with sauce, I know the garlic noodles are fire every time no matter what so those were great, the shrimp were the only disappointment in the meal they were cooked well but once you take the shell off, the shrimp had to flavor not even salt. In the future I'll just stick to the candy wings and garlic noodles but I'm very happy they have a good staff now that makes you want to come back instead of the aggressive ones I've run across in the past. 4.5 stars only taking points for the bland shrimp read more

My friend and I were in the mood for something fried, and our game of Yelp roulette brought us to the nice little spot, Blue Saigon. The decor isn't much to look at since it's really set up as more of a fast food, take out style restaurant, although I do approve of the Warriors swag on the walls. This certainly is not a place that you'd want to go for the decor, but it's certainly a great hangout style place as there's some seating outside. One of the more surprising aspects of the restaurant was really the quality of service we received. It was very hospitable, and the cashier was courteous, and very willing to make sure we had everything we needed. No complaints at all with the service. Now, let's get down to the nitty gritty, and try us out some food. My friend and I decided to basically sample a bunch of things on the menu. Spanning from garlic noodles, to tacos, and more. The food did take awhile to get to us, albeit we ordered a lot, but still, it did take some time as it seems that they only cook the orders to be ready at the same time, so they don't bring the food as it gets done. Not necessarily a bad thing, but if you're starving, it may be better to just make a small order to get something in your stomach right away. We got the potstickers, which were a little bit disappointing to say the least. When we asked what was inside the potstickers we were told it was chicken and cream cheese, but it was just a regular chicken potisticker filling, no cream cheese. And since it's just a regular potsticker, having the whole thing deep fried didn't really help. Again, wasn't untasty, but nothing special. We make our ways to the tacos now. We ordered three different styles of tacos. The spicy chicken, the fried fish, the fried shrimp. Out of the three, our favorite was the fried shrimp one, but it was mainly because of the fried shrimp, which was fried very well, and delicious. The spicy chicken was okay, as it wasn't really what we were expecting (not much sauce, and just chili powder on top that makes it spicy). The fish, well, it was alright. The tacos were just okay as tacos, but part of the components were good. Our next stop is the Shrimp Po Boy, which I was rather excited for, but upon arrival we realized that it wasn't really a Po Boy, but more of a Banh Mi, which really wasn't what I was craving, and nor was my friend. It could've used a lot more sauce because it just felt really dry. Again, shrimp was delicious, but all of the components together, not as good. Finally we get to garlic noodles. They weren't bad for my taste, but my friend didn't really like it as much, and I can understand why. Compared to other garlic noodles, Blue Saigon's sauce for the noodles was a bit too sweet. They were able to make it very saucey, which is always a plus when it comes to garlic noodles as many others are generally sort of dry, but mixed with the sweetness, it does get overwhelming after awhile. Was good, but not the best I've ever had. All in all, it wasn't a bad experience. Many dishes just felt there was too much happening, which takes away from the focus of the protein that was more delicious than the completed version of the dish. Service was definitely top notch, so that's always a splendid surprise. In the end I'd recommend for anyone in the area to hit this place up if you feel like some tasty fried shrimp, and decent garlic noodles. read more

Terrible service! Almost didn't come called ahead to order but ph goes to voicemail. Got here ordered at 5:22 and it's now 6:10 still waiting for food!!! They Know garlic noodles their most popular. Just asked and was told had a large order ahead and have to make more noodles. Really!!!! Finally got order after 55 minute wait! Won't be going back anytime soon read more

Blue Saigon is my favorite hole in the wall spot in the 925. I randomly stumbled across their location years ago pulling out of the drive throwing at Starbucks on Railroad ave, and I was thinking "Ooh Asian Fusion!" So I looked them up, and they definitely didn't disappoint. I wish the location were a bit bigger, to chill inside and eat. But considering the way everyone's into getting takeout and eating at home now, it's a win-win. My go-to order is the sisig burrito with an egg and no siracha, garlic noodles with the prawns, and lemon pepper wings. Also, always pick up one of their lemonade drinks, you won't regret it. I love me some Blue Saigon read more

This was my 1st time trying there food & it was bomb AF! I hear so much about it that I finally had a cheat day and went to try it. only reason I have 4 stars is 1. the guy misheard the name so we were left waiting an extra 5 to 10mins while our food got warm due to the wrong name being called. 2. This place was good! We had the garlic noodles, yum! The warrior dog, double yum. The cream fried potstickers, triple yum. The candied chicken wings, quadruple yum. The pork belly fries ,quintuple? Yum!! Then a complimentary chicken taco for checking in on yelp. We had every intention of bringing home leftovers. But alas the delicious flavors held us scarfing down every last bit. Blue Saigon is one of the few places here in Pittsburg that has kept it consistent and cheap from the beginning. They offer huge portions of their SMALL sized garlic noodles- enough to feed 3-4 people imo. The Shakin Beef fries on their secret menu is uhhh-mazing! Their Thai tea is spot on and their candy chicken wings are fried perfectly and glazed with the perfect amount of sweetness. Blue Saigon is definitely a gem and one of my favorite places to have a quick bite. Also, they have amazing customer service which tops everything off. read more

OMG....this place. My shop and this place are pretty much separated by a fence. I swear I can smell the deliciousness they are cooking. This is me and my son's spot. We just about ordered half the menu the first time we went here. The garlic noodles are a MUST-HAVE, along with the candied wings. And don't forget the potstickers. Be warned that they are closed on Mondays. You'll often see a line because it's THAT good. If you know what you want, you could always call in your order. This place is definitely one of Pittsburg's treasures. read more

Great place to eat love the chicken, and fries and the garlic noodles. I took my mom there for the first time 2 weeks ago, she ordered the lemon pepper wing I ordered the candy fried. Well seasoned FULL sized chicken wings. AMAZING. This time around we order the same thing again and much to my surprise we had MUCH smaller wings than the batch we had 2 weeks ago. They were tiny ass wings like for a child. I'm not sure if the owner or cook made a bad inventory run or something that's fine. However if this is the direction your company chooses to go by reducing the size and quality of food, don't think your customers are blind enough to not notice. I love this establishment and the food, I would hate to see you guys cut corners just because y'all are expanding next door. And FYI next time I order and I do see those micro sized wings again, I will not hesitate to let people know you guys are reducing the food and not the price along with it. It's a decent place. Just have to make sure you're ready to wait a while for your order. They make your order after you place your order, do there's a good amount of wait time. I placed my order over the phone, got there 20 minutes after and still had to wait an additional 20 minutes when I got there. I ordered the sisig fries and chicken. Sisog fries is okay, chicken is okay. read more

Cashier and person taking orders (Carlo L on receipt) was very unprofessional. Called on the phone and guy kept telling me to hold on while he made something...once he got back on the phone he stopped me in the middle of Ordering and put me on hold again ... he was not listening to my order....when we arrived to pick up food he instead of focusing on taking my payment he was asking names of the order from the people behind us.... none of my orders were labeled so I can tell them apart neither did he say which was which...garlic noodles were good, chicken was so/so....wouldn't go back again. read more

My husband and I just recently moved into the area after being in Alameda for many years. Living in Alameda, we were so close to a ton of great eateries (within Alameda or Oakland). As we prepared for our move to Antioch, we were warned by friends and family that there aren't any good places to eat in the Antioch/Pittsburg area. In an attempt to get to know our new area and on the hunt for Sisig (we used to frequent a well known Sisig Truck in our area) we stumbled across Blue Saigon in Pittsburg. We walked in and were greeted immediately. Which is something I love, when at a restaurant. We decided to order a bunch of stuff to see what we liked. Here's a breakdown... Sisig fries :: hands down a must order. Fries are cooked perfectly, the Sisig is flavorful and the sauce ties it all together. Garlic noodles with candy wings :: AMAZING! The noodles were almost as good as Than Long in SF! The Candy Wings were delicious. They were crispy but moist inside. The sauce was a perfect blend of sweet and savory. Warrior dog :: a great take on America's favorite food. Love love love the pickled onions. Side note: The bacon pieces used to top off this item was nice and crispy (and they were real bacon pieces!!!). Spicy chicken burrito :: the chicken pieces were nice and juicy. The rice was flavorful. So good. Deep Fried Peanut butter & jelly sandwich :: as good as the deep fried pb&j you can get at a carnival or fair! What's not to love!?! It was 220p and the lady who picked up told us they stopped their buffet service at 3p. We were 7 minutes away. The restaurant wasn't hard to find and parking wasn't difficult. As soon as we walked in a family of 6 and a party of two were leaving. They all looked full and satisfied. Nadia is the nice lady that picked up the phone and greeted us. She explained what the dishes were and what sauces go with each entree. She even gave us freshly cooked naan bread. They had three chicken and one goat item to choose from. (Butter chicken, chicken tandoori, chicken curry, goat curry) They had plain white and vegetable rice biriani. Also a round potato fried patty to complete the carbs section. Four vegetable items were also available like a lentil dish, tofu in sauce, curry vegetables, and some type of green spinach dish. We definitely went in on the naan and butter chicken. We had like 3 plates. Naan was warm and melted in your mouth. The butter chicken was super flavorful and paired well with the naan and plain rice. Chai tea was also available to sip on and wash down the food. The vegetable dish was ok I think because we came towards the end. It was over cooked and most of the vegetables broke down softly. The restaurant was clean and Nadia provide excellent service. Towards the end of our meal Nadia brought out fresh oranges and man were they sweet and juicy. I found out they also cater and the prices are reasonable. I seen a few customers come in and picked up trays of food to go. First time coming here and it won't be the last. I highly recommend this establishment if you're craving for some Indian food.

Everything was delicious! Nothing was too oily or salty. Most of our guests were Filipino but even my non-Filipino friends who haven't tried a lot of Filipino dishes yet enjoyed the food. The medium trays were the perfect size for our party of 35. The only thing I regret is not convincing my then fiancé to order more lumpia! 50 lumpia ran out so quick I didn't get to taste one. That's OK though because I plan to come in person to order the lumpia! We did have leftovers after the reception, even after people took some to go. The leftovers reheated well and I ate them for my work lunches. Jane was our point of contact. We exchanged emails and text messages. We sent our order via email and Jane emailed us an estimate. We then paid for our order in person. We paid for delivery and they had all the food delivered to our reception. They communicated with our point person for our reception venue. In person, Jane was friendly. It did take some time for us to hear back via email, but Jane always responded fast through text. Friday 6/5/15. Happy Birthday to me. Needed a tire from Treadshed and was starving. Walked to this joint while getting tire installed to see what all the hubub was about. Very cool peeps working there, but word of advice. First time patrons can hear your gossip, so talking loud about folks may not be a good idea. Told the girl at the front that I'm a first timer and yelp brought me here. Great! She said. I didn't get offered jack for free, but it's cool. Limited menu on the wall and I was starving like Marvin. Trying to decide between the short ribs, Tilapia, and Candy friend chicken. Ordered the Candy fried chicken. 15 minutes later....here's the food. Girl warned me it was hot. Good looking out sexy lady. BUT. I thought candy friend chicken was some legs, thighs, or breastasis man! 5 little wing arms. Not even 1 wing drumstick. I woofed it down. The noodles were greasy, and on the sweet side. Maybe from the drippy chicken. I can say this. If you don't give a crap about heartburn, clogged arteries, bubble guts, high blood pressure, diabetes, or eating tums like starburst, this is your joint. What I ordered was no where near the fuss on yelp.....but it was ok. Mayo, on a hot dog? Hell naw! I may try it without and name that jive the World Champ Giants dog...man! I'm going to give them another shot and go with fried tilapia over spam fried rice, short ribs, or that whole crab I see in the yep pics. A patient came into our office, recently opened in Antioch, and began to converse with me about different topics. We some how got on the topic of food. i complained to her about eating the same Micky D's, Inn N Out, Burger King, etc. But since i'm bot from out here i'm confined to the area I know. Long story Short, she begins to rant and rave about this Place called Blue Saigon. She tells me "you haven't lived until u try this place!!" she goes on there IG page and shows me the different asian infused foods they have. My stomach instantly fell in love. I decide to go days later and BOY AM I HAPPY I DID!! Its a small place and I don't recommend that u go during lunch. A lot of the teenagers from the nearby school will occupy every seat on the inside and out! almost impossible to sit and enjoy a meal during that time. The food is simply GREAT! I try to get something different every time i go back but i never go without the Garlic Noodles. They are Heaven on Earth!! The Sisig Fries are good as well... Has been a fan of blue Saigon , but today I literally waited for more than 40 mins for my food. I don't know why my order can take so long , the people who order after me got their food before me and the cashier wasn't that friendly. this is my forth time here. N this time i am really disappointed. I ordered my food and went to across Starbucks to bought drinks. I got my drink n return back n waited for an extra 30 mins for the food to be ready. Used to LOVEEEE this place I would travel all the way from Brentwood to Pittsburg to eat the combo chicken with garlic noodles. Me and my boyfriend had take out a few days ago and now he's sick with food poisoning vomiting everywhere and he never gets sick but after eating that food he did. Been here several times already, the staff gives 5 star customer service, which is huge for me. The food is fresh and delicious, my hubby is hooked on their warrior dog. I like their burritos, they're big. Only thing was when I went there this last time and they were slammed, the food was made in a rush and it wasn't the same as the few times before. This place is AWESOME. They're famous for their garlic noodles, which I thought we're good. Very garlicy and yummy. I also had their tacos (tempura fried tilapia, spicy chicken and sweet and sour pork). My favorite was the tempura fried tilapia. The pickled veggies and sauce were FANTASTIC. We went for lunch and really enjoyed this place. It was of local origin to thetables.The food was delicious and you generally saw that it was very fresh.There can be no longs, especially on weekends. This has to be interpreted as a reflection of how good this place is. Also you cant miss the garlic noodles. read more

I thought it was restaurant courtesy to allow guests to finish eating before you close up shop. Especially if I waited 45+ minutes for my order. Bad service. Do better. read more
