blue saigon is a Pittsburg favorite, and they got some of the best food. this last time i tried my favorite: garlic noodles with shrimp and chicken. it is a great portion of noodles, spicy, covered with plenty shrimp and chicken wings. my wings gotta be lemon pepper! don't sleep on the Warrior Dog either: it's loaded with sauce and proudly reps the Bay Area. once you order, you can wait indoors or head back to your car, and your card will sound off to pick it up! blue saigon stay ballin'

Tried the mango lemonade spicy garlic Parmesan wings and garlic noodles. Enough food to feed 2-3 people. 8 wings and good portion of garlic noodles. While I waited for my order several people ordered fried rice- might try this next time. Food was decent, nothing to write home about. Service was helpful with pointing out popular items and sizing of portions. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Ambiance is an order and take away. They do have indoor seating but it is very limited.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Restrooms on site as well.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

I see why things change over and over at this place, year after year. Then the other flimsy container full of food everything just fell out everywhere. This was a waste of $85. The $7 drinks, like the 50/50 omg! They charge you extra if you don't want ice. Bottom line, I asked for grilled shrimp with a char, I received some fried shrimp. So not only was shrimp and chicken piled into the ton of noodles the grease was also in the box gross .

I did see two tables so maybe you can dine in.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] So many things to choose from but they're definitely known for there garlic butter noodles which is garlicky delicious with there candy chicken wings which was FIRE! Did not realize they had a spicy candy version which I can't wait to go back and try. You can order 5 or 8 wings combo. The food is on point 10/10 recommend. Customer service was great after you order they give you a pager to let you know when your order is ready! Must try and enjoy!

We definitely love coming here. The food is always great, fresh & good portions. The staff greets you when you walk in and always open for questions and suggestions. We always order ahead because it can be a wait. Glad to see this business still operating and popular after all these years. There were a ton of people coming in and out for lunch, and alot of online and phone orders. A big tray of wings were ordered too! I got the chance to visit here, and I bought a fish burrito. It was great. It is true Viet fusion with the banh mi ingredients wrapped in a tortilla. Loved it a ton. I remember the warrior dog was delicious and the wings are great too. I enjoy the nostalgia of eating here, and I hope I can come back whenever I am in this area. I ordered on door dash and the flavors weren't compromised at all. Delicious! Garlic noodles are prob the best on this side of town and the spicy lemon pepper wings are some of the best I've had. Wings were fried hard without me even having to ask. We love that!

Let me first say that the food was incredible and good. The garlic noodles were tasty - they used thick Shanghai noodles, and the oyster sauce flavor came through, although I would say they could use more garlic. For the protein we got one with candy wings, which were good, and another with sisig, which I think was better than the wings although I thought the sisig was a bit too ginger-forward. But all in all their food was still super delicious. With that said, the service was beyond terrible. We waited about 40 mins for our food, to the point we almost gave up, but couldn't because we had to pay in advance so we already paid. Also they provided no free water - you gotta pay for bottled water. What restaurant in the Bay Area doesn't offer free water? [[HIGHLIGHT]]Ambiance was also not the best. Only a few seats available, and the kitchen played music from their boombox so loud we couldn't even hear ourselves speak[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]].

Came here to eat lunch at the infamous YouTuber My Nguyen brother's restaurant. The menu is a mix between Filipino and Chinese cuisine. Service was quick as it wasn't busy but its a smaller restaurant so ppl typically order to go here. We decided to dine in and ordered their garlic noodles, sweet fried chicken, and tried the peach and watermelon summer drink special. The fried chicken and noodles has a resemblance to San Tung restaurant in SF. I was quite surprised how similar it tasted. The combination of both the fried chicken and garlic noodles was a pleasant mouth bomb of flavors. We tried the fish tacos too and omg the fish was seasoned and batter was light but crispy. It reminded me of Vietnamese banh xeo batter in how it was light and crispy. I really loved all the food we got. I would love to come back and try more off their menu.

Love the wings! The lemon pepper is the best lemon pepper in the bay. A wonderful crunch and not too lemon peppery. They have great prices and the service is usually really good. I have ordered informally and as a large group and both times it was a good experience. They took my order the day before and even had it ready right after opening time so I didn't have to wait too long. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Small but mighty. I ordered 2 8peice candy wings with garlic noodles I never had a issue with this place I noticed one of my orders didn't have wings so I easily called them up told them the situation and the manager was cool about it told me to come back and get a fresh batch of candy wings they told me how sorry they were no problems no issues after that I though it was going to be a problem because I didn't call back right away and I didn't have to bring my food in to show him that I didn't receive the wings . Candied wings ... YUUUMMMM. Everything on this menu looks so good I'll be coming back for a while before I finish tasting all that I want to. So far spicy chicken burrito, candied wings and garlic noodles are my go to. Service is decent . The people working have always been friendly, nothing extra. Wait time can be a while due to their popularity so my suggestion is to call your order in, which In my experience is organized and works out well. read more

One of the best place to get Thai Iced Tea w/ Boba for just $3!!! They don't cheat you with a cup full of ice. The Thai tea is also flavored perfectly and the boba is cooked perfectly. Their chicken wings and fried rice burrito is really good! read more

Ok ok this is my second review for this place. I had to come and let everyone know please do not sleep on the GARLIC PARMESAN CHICKEN!!!!! Yes the candy chicken is great too but the GARLIC PARMESAN CHICKEN IS SEASONED TO PERFECTION!!! The entire chicken covered in GARLIC and PARMESAN... I also ordered the Mama Lou fire chicken and let me just say that if you don't like spicy hot then this flavor isn't for you. The chicken was great but just that specific flavor had my stomach tore up...keep up the good work blue Saigon read more

I cannot think of any other restaurant that leaves me satisfied in my stomach and also my soul when I am finished eating their food. Blue Saigon is definitely one of my top favorite restaurants in the entire Bay Area - the world, even. My friend put me onto the Sisig Fries and my life was changed from there. The Sisig Fries are absolutely tantalizing and flavorful. After a while, I began to order other things from the menu. And then my life changed. Again. I tried the Candy Wings. The Candy Wings are incredible. They hit me personally because they are just like my mom's wings, but with a sweet sauce on them. The service is excellent as well! The staff there are incredibly friendly and they make me feel at home every time I go there. Overall, highly recommend. You will not regret it. read more

Finally got to try this place out and found out it's a spot I would return to if I were in the area. Me and my friend stopped here for lunch on a Saturday. It wasn't too packed in there but you can see that they are a busy stop. After we had arrived quite a few people stopped in to order and they also had quite a few phone orders come through, so it looks like it can get pretty busy there. The food was pretty delicious. I ordered the garlic noodles and the combination of tacos. My friend ordered the sisig fries and the candy chicken. All the food was pretty tastey. I do have to say everything but the sisig fries had a sweet aspect so if you like that, which I do, you'll like the food. The only thing I would change was that I would have liked more meat on the sisig fries. I'm used to real, traditional, down-home cooked sisig so this left a little to be desired. Otherwise, a great food stop and would come back. read more

I was just yelping new places to try when I can across this baby. I am so happy I came here with my boyfriend today because I am still drooling over the food. Great customer service and food tasted great! Although I myself didn't get the garlic noodles(my boyfriend did) I still tasted some of his food and they were so good. Some garlic noodles I've tasted in the past have left something to be desired but not these. :-) I forgot what the hot dog was called but man oh man it was delicious! Only thing that could bother people is the size of the restaurant, a little on the smaller side so if it's busy it might be a tight fit. Would recommend though! read more

Been here a few times but the service was terrible this time. They said it was busy but i saw 2 cooks taking a break at the same time. They said that they didnt have time to answer the phone when i asked them if the phone number on yelp was the same they said it was but when i got there, they were pausing the line to answer the phone. Ordered 2 5 pc wings (mama lou fire and garlic parm) and a peach mango lemonade and it took 35 mins to be done. I saw other customers that ordered behind me getting their food first. Foods good. The peach mango lemonade needs more peach flavor to it.. read more

I'd have to say after last night's visit I am pretty much not happy! Maybe if the background music wasn't so loud my order would've been taken fully and right! But nope I didn't get the 3 piece pot stickers I ordered. Then I ordered a fried rice burrito with no lettuce togo for lunch today. Come to find out it's made with French fries. Not happy so have soggy fries in my burrito and be all the way in Saratoga! read more

I've come here a couple times and will continue to patronize. The wait can be long at times and it could be difficult to place a phone order but the food is good. I always order the garlic noodles with candy chicken and lumpia. They offer catering too if ordered in advance. Check them out. Decent pricing and food taste great. read more

Ok they have a fried rice shrimp burrito and it is the best! I usually eat it with the sriracha. Make sure you ask for more than one container of sriracha since they're really small. The last time I was there I also tried the garlic fries. They are the next best thing to the garlic fries at at&t Park. VERY garlicy, just how I like it. read more

For the area I guess I have to give them A 4! First off I'm new to the area so I was on Yelp one day and I noticed a comment from someone that I added about the candy chicken... & I love chicken so I had to go and see for myself. I had it so hyped up in my mind to be so amazing because I'm like all this just sounds so great I know this is going to be so great well I'm not going to say it was bad it was good it had a Familiar Taste of something from the bay area (SF) that I'm really really used to so that was good but when I heard Candy chicken something else totally different came to mind some exotic taste lol. I also had the garlic fries it had a different taste, just different to me not enough cheese but it was good it was different but I didn't get that UMPH I don't know I think I Pumped my mind up too much. I won't complain thou because I enjoyed it with the try. read more

Wow! What a great experience and the delicious food. Thank you yelp users for the positive reviews and encouraging others to try this place! It's definitely worth it everybody! The two items that you need to try are Definitely the garlic noodles and the chicken wings! Super legit and glad that there is a great tasting Asian restaurants in this area. We recently moved to the side of the bay and missed the variety in Hayward and Alameda county in general. But if you're in this area, it's a must! read more

Great place for something quick and tasty! I often grab a quick lunch of lumpia with salad or garlic noodles but have also have had the chicken and fish baskets along with their wonderful boba tea. My sister swear by the Sisig burrito. Served hot and delicious every time. Love it! read more

Literally the best chicken I ever had. Not to mention the mango lemonade was super bomb! The candy chicken will have you addicted. The staff was very nice and my son who is extremely picky was in love with the garlic noodles! I am so happy I found this place because I will be back and I highly recommend you try it! read more

Tried Blue Saigon this past weekend after a coworker recommended it. Tried a little bit of everything on the menu and literally everything is AMAZING. We ordered the California fries, candied chicken wings, spicy garlic chicken wings, garlic noodles and a deep fried Twinkie. I'm not much of a Twinkie fan but their deep friend twinkles are so good. Super light and fluffy. Not too sweet. Definitely trying their deep fried Oreos next. The California fries are sooooo good. A lot of flavor and they give you a huge portion of it. We had to try the candied chicken wings based off of their other reviews and they were just as amazing as everyone said they were. I love this little shop. I'm a Filipino-American, and they make the best spin off of Filipino-American dishes such as Sisig Fries, Warrior Hot Dog, and so much more! My boyfriend is Vietnamese so it's a win-win situation with the pho and garlic noodles! One of the best Asian food in the Bay Area! And I love their Thai iced tea Boba. The cashiers and cooks in the back are very nice and cooperative with my Togo orders. It is a bit pricey for the food though since we bought two Warrior Hot Dogs with French Fries and one Thai Iced Boba for $25, but it's worth it because of how unique their food is. It's well worth the visit to come try it out! Will visit again to try out the candy fried wings! Yum! read more

I work in Pittsburg and try to make an effort to try the local food establishments. Usually, I'm in a rush to go somewhere, so I don't really have that many opportunities. Recently, I had some time, was starving, and decided to try something local for lunch. A quick search on Yelp led me to Blue Saigon. Blue Saigon is located in a shopping complex and has a really nondescript location. The restaurant is small - you order at the counter and can either eat in (there a few small tables) or take your food to go. I ended up trying the following: garlic noodles with spicy glazed shrimp (so spicy and so garlicky!) and garlic fries. I had wanted to try the lumpia, but they ran out! Everything was flavorful - somewhat greasy, but still good! Definitely try Blue Saigon! read more

Been wanting to come here for a while now. We got there around 8:15, ordered two 8 piece orders of candy wings, garlic noodles, garlic fries and lumpia. Waited until about 9:15 to get our food and the chicken and fries were cold. The food is good but they took a really long time and I wasn't happy that it was cold. I'll try again and hopefully it's better. read more

Food here is great but service is terrible. It's clear they still haven't figured out how to manage all the orders that come in. Expect to wait for at least 15 min for them to take your order over the phone and even longer in person. Also, they run out of food at times even when early in the afternoon. read more

Friday 6/5/15. Happy Birthday to me. Needed a tire from Treadshed and was starving. Walked to this joint while getting tire installed to see what all the hubub was about. Very cool peeps working there, but word of advice. First time patrons can hear your gossip, so talking loud about folks may not be a good idea. Has been a fan of blue Saigon , but today I literally waited for more than 40 mins for my food. I don't know why my order can take so long , the people who order after me got their food before me and the cashier wasn't that friendly. this is my forth time here. N this time i am really disappointed. I ordered my food and went to across Starbucks to bought drinks. I got my drink n return back n waited for an extra 30 mins for the food to be ready. I will never order in store anymore. Such a waste of my time. And the food this time is not that good either. Next time I will call n order first . Or maybe there will be no next time read more

Bro wtf happened. This place was the best back in the day. Now it's disgusting overpriced absolute garbage. How tf you gon charge $14 for steak fries that can literally be finished in 4 bites. Yall are skimping people so bad now its not even funny. I understand charging more for food because of inflation. But yall crooks is charging more and giving less? Wtf. Used to LOVEEEE this place I would travel all the way from Brentwood to Pittsburg to eat the combo chicken with garlic noodles. Me and my boyfriend had take out a few days ago and now he's sick with food poisoning vomiting everywhere and he never gets sick but after eating that food he did. I didn't eat my noodles because they had a funky smell. Reading other comments it seems like you guys are somehow unsanitary. You guys have lost a customer! read more

Been here several times already, the staff gives 5 star customer service, which is huge for me. The food is fresh and delicious, my hubby is hooked on their warrior dog. I like their burritos, they're big. Only thing was when I went there this last time and they were slammed, the food was made in a rush and it wasn't the same as the few times before. This place is AWESOME. They're famous for their garlic noodles, which I thought we're good. Very garlicy and yummy. I also had their tacos (tempura fried tilapia, spicy chicken and sweet and sour pork). My favorite was the tempura fried tilapia. The pickled veggies and sauce were FANTASTIC. We went for lunch and really enjoyed this place. It was of local origin to thetables.The food was delicious and you generally saw that it was very fresh.There can be no longs, especially on weekends. This has to be interpreted as a reflection of how good this place is. Also you cant miss the garlic noodles. read more

The food was good but I waited 45 minutes for my order, and 10 minutes into eating it, I was told they were closing and I had to leave. I thought it was restaurant courtesy to allow guests to finish eating before you close up shop. Especially if I waited 45+ minutes for my order. Bad service. Do better. read more
