The receptionist couldnt' have been nicer but the specialist that I saw was clearly taken aback when I informed her that I had active Covid; I really can't hold it against her that she terminated the appointment. Turned out two friends are Kenwood Patients for the past decade and the other for 5 years. Especially satisfied. My work has been with Inessa Rubinshteyn over the past few months. From "test drives" thru selection of Phonak and now making adjustments to my particular needs. Her manner is calm, patient and empathic. I know I am understood by her and she joins me in my celebration of learning to hear in a new way. I asked for a brief appointment for a slight adjustment and her team mate jumped in to help out. It took me an inordinate amount of time to finally get the aid into my ear. This year I'm waiting for an aid for my other ear. The appointment was September 14. I received a call the week before telling me that the aid had not been received and that I'd receive a call when it arrived. No call so far. I've met three audiologists who are thoroughly professional, pleasant and courteous, but the administrative staff is lacking basic business training. If you can find another source that you can afford, I recommend to looking into it.

Would have been nice to know if and when new patients are accepted. I reached out to a specialty office for a speciality service - based on their website/Yelp/Google that's what they offer. If I wanted to utilize Insurance through my Primary Care Doc that's the route I would have taken. I love supporting local businesses over huge corporations, and would have been happy paying out of pocket for services as it relates to my ear health. When I arrived for my appointment, I was greeted warmly, and I doubt I waited more than a few minutes to be taken into the exam room. From there my history and questions were answered, followed by comprehensive hearing testing, and I truly appreciate having the tests explained as they were administered. Results of those tests were also clearly and specifically presented to me, along with the options I had going forward, Needless to say, I was impressed. The secretary was friendly and helpful, I particularly appreciated when I was asking here some technical questions about the type of material used in the molds ,the monitor manufacture was very specific in what they need,she didn't know and said so and then replied when she was sure so as not to waist my time. When I showed up for my appointment they were very friendly and helpful and I was out the door in 20min. I received my monitors a week ago and they fit perfect! I used to think the doctors on TV who really get to know their patients were fictional--but not with Dr. Beal! She takes her time, never rushes appointments, and genuinely listens.
