John was very polite and immediately told me my HVAC closet smelled because a mouse died in there. He also called a relative while at my place and on the way home to give me their suggestions on dealing with the smell, which has nothing to do with HVAC and is above and beyond in my opinion. Yes, I did have to pay the $100 fee to come out. I paid in cash to not have to pay the 10% processing fee. I was fine with paying this to have someone come out so quickly, and on a Sunday. First time I contacted this company, they came out and fixed my furnace the same day. They were…read morepunctual, professional and informative. Second time I had them come out because my AC was freezing over and wasn't cooling the house. I paid the guy $375 for cleaning the outside unit and for coming out, but it was still hot in the house. After spending a few hours trying to figure it out, they said the problem was that different parts of the system were not compatible. They recommended replacing the whole HVAC system including the heater ($6500) or at least the coils ($2000). I got a second opinion and found out that the coils were very dirty and needed to be cleaned. My husband watched a YouTube video and did it himself. The AC works fine now.

Picture it...the heatwave of 2018 The warranty company I use said the earliest they could get folks to me was FIVE days after I submitted my request. Whet?!?!? Did I mention my lashes?? And the cat, Louboutin del Moscato, and my mini pig, Leroy Spartacus, aint happy neither! No. Not in the middle of a heatwave. Found SSHS on yelp and they were able to arrive same day at a better rate. My 30 year old HVAC system needed refrigerant. 20 minutes later the house started to feel noticeably cooler. I will invite them out to check on the system in the fall. Quick to respond, stayed true to their quote, diagnosed the issue immediately and were very informative and friendly.
