I would strongly advise not using this company for any service needs. We had an issue with our expansion tank. Tech showed up and replaced a 12 psi tank with a 40 psi tank and did not set the pressure of the 40 psi tank to 12 psi like he should have. He also left without bleeding the air he introduced into the line. Second technician comes out to bleed the line. Tells me a valve needs replaced. Discovers the valve he has in his truck is faulty as well so he calls the other tech on duty to bring one. Other tech didn't have one (unknown to me) so the tech just installs the valve he knew was faulty. Furthermore, he installed the valve incorrectly so it was bleeding water at the joint. Did he take the time to fix this?....of course not. He simply placed 3 rags over the electrical box underneath the valve and walked away. The next day other techs came out and told me that now the problem was a pipe was cracked in the floor and so I needed all new pipes run throughout my entire house. Today I have another company come out to give a 2nd opinion. The tech from the other company immediately discovered the incorrect tank and the shoddy work done installing the valve. He also stated there was absolutely no way they should make the claim a pipe was broken unless there is clear evidence of water or they ran a camera down the pipe to see the crack. Neither of those were done. I am beyond done with this company. I'm waiting for them to come out and install the valve correctly and then I'm done with them, unless clear evidence arises that they caused damage to my heating system. Then they will be hearing from my lawyer who is aware of the situation. read more

HIGHLY Recommended!!! Dexter was professional, timely, and knowledgeable from start to finish on two separate jobs. Our HVAC unit was probably about 15 years old and start to finally show its age. He came initially to diagnose the problem and offered an effective and affordable temporary fix to buy us some time to get a new one. Since he fixed the old unit so effectively, we felt comfortable hiring him to replace install the new unit. I know absolutely NOTHING about HVAC. Dexter walked me through the process to find us the most feasible option to last us the next 10-15 years. He also went Above and Beyond to secure the parts (which are SCARCE due to the pandemic) we needed to start the job on time within a 10 days. When the project date came he was timely, communicative, COVID-safe, family-friendly, conscientious, competent, and efficient. I had two very pleasant experiences with KPK. Back in July I put in a claim via my home warranty due to me experiencing issues where my AC was not cooling down my condo properly. KPK was automatically assigned my claim through my warranty company. KPK was very responsive and communicative when my warranty company was not. They helped me track down the issue between my company & I not trying to accept the claim & honestly went above and beyond in making sure they accepted my claim as the warranty was giving me the run around. Then yesterday night on January 14th I reached out to KPK explaining that I messed up my HVAC by trying to perform routine maintenance (didn't know what I was doing) & they were very understanding and came out the very next day (January15 a Saturday) in less than 24 hours and had me back up and running. I had a several leaks in my upstairs AC unit and called Dexter for a quote, he was able to come that evening and was very detailed as to what will need to be replaced. On the day of installion, he and his staff showed up on time, wore shoe booties and put down a tarp to catch any debris. They were extremely professional and very cognizant of my time. After the installation, they review everything that was replaced and even made some changes to protect my unit for back flow.
