I wanted an image put on top of the cake. There was no way to tell how this image would look on the cake because the store isn't equipped with the kind of technology that can drop and drag a photo so that you can see what it would look like on the square cake. I was very apprehensive Anna Constantly told me to trust her trust her trust her. I kept telling her that I need for her to understand what I want, it seemed to me that she was yessing me to death. And I kind of felt rushed and pressured into placing the order. And reluctantly, I did place the order but 24 hours later I changed my mind and I realized that she had no clue as to what I wanted. I didn't feel confident that she was going to make the cake the way that I wanted it and I know that I'm in my timeframe to cancel since there was three weeks to go before I needed the cake. Upon arriving to the store to cancel the cake, I was taken by surprise by Anna and her other colleagues that they did not know how to process a refund you would think you simply hand your debit card over and they reverse the transaction, but this was much too complicated for anyone inside of cold Stone creamery to even comprehend how it was done. My refund of $111.14 had to go to the corporate office, I asked Anna to give me a receipt, some sort of trust and faith that we mutually understood one another that my $111.14 refund was indeed coming back to me. She offered me no receipt she offered me no confidence whatsoever Ave other than her word alone that I will be getting a refund she told me to trust her. So 3 weeks later today is January 23, 2026. I still have not received my refund. When I called the store any one of the employees tell me that they are not educated or understand understand the refund process. So therefore I'm still waiting for my refund of $111.14 which I believe I am never going to receive. I feel cheated. I feel robbed. I will never trust this ice cream shop ever again. I am very disappointed in this whole entire process. I have never experienced something like this before and I think other people should also be warned when you shop in cold Stone creamery. They may or may not understand what you want and when you decide, you don't want the product because you don't feel confident that they could actually make what you want I think they get insulted and they try to give you a hard time to prevent you from taking your money back. I am going to fight with these people every single day until I get my money back.

I ate at blue on a Saturday a few weeks ago and enjoyed every minute of it. The food was excellent. We had the BBQ spring rolls and the goat cheese wontons (our server's suggestion) to start. The spring rolls were a bit dry but had a lot of taste. The goat cheese wontons were excellent. They melt in your mouth and they give a good portion. For dinner we had the shell steak and the shrimp and pasta dish. Both were excellent and would eat again. Service was great! Kristen was sweet and smiled the entire time. She went above and beyond with suggestions. The men who cleaned off our table were fast and and left nothing dirty for our few courses. The only negative I will give is the music in the dining room was way too loud and drinks took forever to come out but service, ambiance, and food made up for that. My boyfriend surprised me to a romantic dinner at Blue. He did good and so did they!! I was a very happy girl! We sat outside the ambiance was so beautiful for the next hour I didn't feel like I was in Staten Island! Steps away from the water lined with tiki lights. Our waitress was very sweet and accommodating. We had a bottle of Malbec which was delicious! We tried the Octopus App which had great flavor, the salad off the price fixed menu was surprisingly flavorful. The Veal entree was really on point. I was really pleased with my experience and service. I would have been fine just looking out at the water with my hunny and wine but the food and service definitely put it over the top! My husband and I went for Valentine's Day. We did enjoy our food very much. We each had an appetizer I wasn't too impressed with the stuffed mushrooms but my husband really enjoyed his. For entrees he had the special mixed grill which was lamb chops, scallops and lobster and I had lamb chops with mixed roasted potatoes both were delicious! Dessert we had the Nutella wontons which were great and the chocolate cake. My only complaint is they never refilled my water and had to look for the waiter but it was Valentine's Day. There were three adults and two children in our party. We were seated around 7:30 PM, looked over the menu, and placed our order. My son-in-law ordered a drink, which took an unusually long time to arrive. While we were waiting, we noticed approximately three other parties arrive, sit down, order, and receive their food while we were still sitting at our table waiting. At one point, we looked toward the bar and saw the manager and owner standing there with some of the waitresses. We waved to get someone's attention because we had been waiting so long. The waitress told us she would check on our order. More time passed, and it was now around 8:10 PM. My daughter, who had just given birth a week ago, finally had to get up and stop the waitress herself to ask where our food was. Once again, we were told that she would go check. Then we discovered something completely unacceptable: our order had never even been put in. We were furious and extremely disappointed. We had been sitting there for approximately 40 minutes with two children, believing our food was being prepared, only to find out that our order had never been submitted. What made the situation even worse was that the manager and owner were right there by the bar and never came over to speak with us, acknowledge the situation, or apologize. A simple apology and an explanation would have gone a long way. Instead, we were left sitting there feeling completely ignored. Unfortunately, this was not our first bad experience with the service at your restaurant. We had a similar situation on a previous visit where we repeatedly had to flag down our waitress. We decided to give Cantina Valencia another chance, but after this experience, I can honestly say that was a mistake. I believe the right thing for the manager and owner to have done was to come over personally, apologize, and take responsibility for what happened. Customer service is about more than just serving food--it is about acknowledging your customers when something goes wrong. This experience was unacceptable, especially for a family with two children and a new mother who had given birth only a week earlier. I will not be returning to Cantina Valencia. I'd rather half the portion for a cheaper price. My fiancé said his chipotle chicken panini was good, but even he struggled finishing his portion which was a normal size compared to mine. I don't know if I'd come back.

They're known amongst my family for bringing out this ENORMOUS bread that seems larger than anyone can eat but you're surprised not only by the fact that it's hollow inside but also how quickly it disappears when you're enjoying the fabulous meze platter (a variety of dips that you can enjoy). My grandma got the lamb shish kabob (which was huge) and my boyfriend got the lamb adana. I got the mixed grill. Everything tasted delicious and we were very full with still more food to take home after we ate our fill. The portions are large and the staff is friendly and attentive. Our waitress came by a couple times to check on us and staff was quick to take away plates we were finished with and wipe down the table in between so we didn't have crumbs everywhere after the bread course. The interior of this place is also really lovely. They decorated for Valentine's Day and also put on the Olympics on TV, though none of the seasonal decor nor entertainment felt like it overpowered the cozy atmosphere of this place. My favorite part of it is that the seating feels incredibly cozy because you can sit in a nook with beautifully designed cushions arranged around the bench for comfort and style. Combined with their hot bubble bread is a treat. Shrimp casserole (my favorite dish there) comes out bubbling hot. You have to be careful not to burn your mouth and let it cool off a bit. Very tasty and the cheese melted on top gives it an extra touch. The crêpe for dessert was perfect. The fruit served with it was deliciously sweet. I'm lucky to have this place in my neighborhood.
