Mango Crab Rangoon
Precious N.

definitely one of my favorite happy hours in the city and it lasts practically all day. I love that my family of 3 can all have a delicious meal for under $50. The kids bento box is a huge bang for your buck! We love the spicy garlic steamed edamame and the mango crab Rangoon is phenomenal. We also really enjoy the ceviche. It's always super fresh and flavorful. This will definitely continue to be one of our go to spots in the city!

Spicy Kaluna Crunch & Unami

one of the best spots for vegans and vegetarians! they have a plethora of vegan dishes to choose from and they never disappoint. most recently i tried the spicy kaluna crunch roll and the unami nigiri. the spicy kaluna is sooo good - my non-vegan, sushi addicted boyfriend tried the plant-based tuna and was even blown away by it. i think it may be my favorite! the unami nigiri was pretty good, too, and super flavorful but i wasn't the biggest fan of the texture. the charred, spicy garlic edamame is actually pretty spicy. maybe it's the combo of smokiness + spice that enhances it but it's delicious nonetheless. love this place and will be back soon!

Ive seen this restaurant when visiting Massage Heights and decided made a reservation for Saturday at 5:30 for a friend's birthday who wanted sushi. We were immediately greeted and when seated they had prepared a birthday card signed by staff which felt special. I loved the decor and the ambiance was nice with plenty of window lighting. They had such a variety of rolls and we loved all of our selections. The service was phenomenal and the price was very reasonable for 2 people.

I'm so disappointed i forgot my waiters name because he was on point. All of his recommendations from drinks to food was right on point. I wanted to make some substitutions on the "lion king" he warned me against it and im glad I listened. It was amazing as is! This sushi spot definitely gives upscale vibes. Very clean chic decor. Very much expected for the area. The dining room is huge with plenty of seating as well as bar seating. The menu was loaded with options for everyone. They have the traditional sushi as well as some signature rolls. Everything was flavorful and fresh. With a nice drink list going on too!

Charred Edamame, Edamame, Hotel Cali, and Crunchy LA

This is my absolute favorite sushi place hands down. Any time I am craving sushi, this is my go to. They have happy hour deals that are so hard to pass up! Every server I have had is amazing and the restaurant itself is so beautiful and well kept. I genuinely cannot recommend this place enough!!

My favorite sushi in the Indy area. Excellent service and atmosphere, Blue Sushi is the perfect place for a relaxing and enjoyable dining experience. My favorite appetizer is grilled Brussels sprouts (which are amazing!) and my favorite sushi is the Cowgirl roll. But we always share and sample, and everything I have ever tried has been excellent. If anyone ever asks me for a sushi recommendation I always direct them to Blue Sushi. Several times we have had larger groups here, from 10-16 people, and the service has been great. Highly recommend.

The Godzilla roll the red Crunchyroll and the cloud nine.

The sides were nothing special, but the sushi rolls were excellent They had a lot of Seabass Incorporated into their sushi, which is very interesting in a good way the cloud nine was my favorite following the red Crunchyroll

The ambiance is super cute, service was good. They brought out birthday dessert with a candle. The food was good. I've never seen so many vegan rolls. The Thai hippie was flavorful. The Amazon with the chimmuchuri was great. The yellowtail was fresh. Great place to meet friends if of 86th in ironworks. The chocolate spring roll was decadent. Will be back!

Happy hour sushi menu

Very cute sushi spot located right beside the Ironworks Hotel. Came in for lunch and wasn't busy at all. My waitress was very nice, working the bar as well but still attentive. My first time finding a ceviche I liked in a restaurant! Had so much flavor and even a light spice to it. Would definitely order again! My sushi was very fresh. I had the crunchy la roll which contained; avocado, cucumber crab mix and topped with panko bread crumbs and a sweet chili sauce. I spent around $17 for happy hour, not bad! I can't wait to try other menu items !

The Lion King Roll

One of my favorite sushi spots in the city! The service is always great and although I typically receive my food fast, it's always fresh. It's a chill spot but can get busy. They have Happy Hour all day on Sunday! I had the lion king roll and a sangria spritz and my bill was less than $20. That's my type of happy hour!

I was greeted when I walked in. Was immediately seated at the bar. I stopped in on Saturday with a few friends so decided to pop back in on Tuesday after work. They have a decent happy hour menu. I also love that they have multiple vegan sushi options. My goal is to try them all. My favorite so far is the eden roll. This time around, I subbed the edamame hummus for avocado while adding jalapeño and Sriracha which was a 10/10. I believe it was the manager that delivered my food and called me the new chef for coming up with a new recipe. I also tried the Thai hippie. I wasn't a fan. The restaurant was clean and vibey. The bathroom was also clean. I'm going to also post a video from Saturday. I forgot to check in.

Cali Roll

Went here for happy hour, and honestly, it's one of the best in the city in my opinion. The happy hour menu is extensive--lots of great options, including plenty of cooked sushi choices and even soups. If you're not a big sushi eater, you'll still find something you'll enjoy. The sushi we ordered was fresh and delicious. My only critique was that they forgot to bring ginger and wasabi with my rolls. When I asked, it took about 25 minutes to get it, even though it wasn't incredibly busy (this was during the lunch happy hour). That said, the rest of the service was good, and I really enjoyed their mocktails--super tasty and a nice alternative since we didn't order alcohol. Overall, Blue Sushi Sake Grill has a fantastic happy hour, fresh sushi, and great mocktails. Definitely worth visiting, especially if you love variety!

Blue Sushi consistently delivers top-tier cocktails, sake, and sushi selections. I risked it all and showed up with no reservations on a Tuesday at 6:30 PM and was able to be seated immediately. My friend and I opted to sit at the bar since we were primarily meeting for cocktails and wanted easy access to the bartender because, you know, priorities. There was one time on a Saturday night when a friend and I arrived at about 9 PM with no reservations on a Saturday, and the 45-min wait was a bit too much for us so we left that evening, but that was completely the fault of our own poor planning. The house margaritas were crisp, light, and refreshing. Definitely a perfect patio cocktail. We snacked on the spicy edamame that was the right amount of salty and not offensively spicy. That will definitely have to be my new go to starter there. Oh, and did I mention the most important part?!?? They have a freaking happy hour!!! 2:30 PM to 6:00 PM Monday through Saturday, and all day Sunday!! so you get access to a limited, but indulgence list of beers, cocktail, starters, sushi, and vegan options all at a discount!! And all day Sunday? Yes, please! He doesn't love fine dining on a deal? So grab a friend, play it safe and make a reservation, and carve out an hour or two to sit at Blue where you can converse with good company, drink all the drinks, and eat your weight and sushi.

(Because I hate shopping for clothes.) But mostly, I visit when I'm at the Landmark to see a movie. I've visited this bar many times, and every time has been a pleasant experience. They have a full menu of cocktails -- sometimes even special cocktails that are themed with the movies that are playing. They also have a decent wine menu. They also have local beer available, and some snacks. The bar has a door that enters from the mall, but also a door that you can access from the theatre. There are lots of tables here, and it's never crowded. It's usually pretty quiet except for the sound of whatever is playing on the TV above the bar -- usually sports. All of the bartenders that I've encountered have been extremely efficient and friendly. They'll usually ask you what movie you're here to see, or how you're doing, which I don't usually care about but it's nice when they do it here.

We selected Doc B's and it was our first time here. Normally, we would be at one our favorite restaurants across the parking lot, Seasons 52. I'm so happy we tried Doc B's. It was absolutely amazing on every single facet of being a great eatery. The facility is inviting and fits a business casual lunch crowd and would also be most appropriate for a date night or special gathering. Friendly and prompt service starts at the hostess stand and just builds from that point. Our server, Sam (Samantha) was one of the most professional and attentive server we have experienced in some time. It takes a great management team to mold a staff to be exceptional. And to our surprise the General Manager, John served us our entrees at the table. But later checked in with us to evaluate our experience; which is unheard of these days. John and Samantha impressed us so very much, that Doc B's will now become a regular destination. Oh yes, I should comment on our food and cocktails. TOP NOTCH!! My wife had a carnitas sandwich with slow roasted pork, coleslaw, a pickle spear and thick onion ring with amazing barbecue sauce. It was served with the best tasting side I have ever put in my mouth. You must see what they do with a smashed baby Yukon potato with special breading and deep fried. I had the famous Wok Bowl with shrimp and lo mein noodles and sweet and spicy Thai sauce. It is packed with the freshest vegetables and sprinkled with cashews. I was blown away with the quantity of shrimp in that bowl. They do not skimp on the protein. I enjoyed this dish so very much and can truly say it isnt just a stir fry entree. Beautiful facility, friendly and attentive staff, management that truly cares about the customer and quality food coming from the kitchen that will not disappoint. For what it costs, it felt grossly overpriced and did not justify the hype. The bigger issue was the service. We waited about 10 minutes before a server came to the table, and then waited at least another 30 minutes for the food. I know the timing because we sat down right as the World Cup match started, and the food did not arrive until around the 35-minute mark. I understand restaurants get busy, but the combination of slow service, long wait times, and overpriced food made this a very disappointing visit. For the price point, I expected much better.

Some were quietly relaxing while others were catching up over drinks. The coffeehouse-meets-cocktail-bar aesthetic is well executed and gives the space a distinct personality. I ordered the nonalcoholic Basil Needs a Break, and it was excellent. If you like basil, this drink definitely delivers. It was bright, refreshing, and very basil-forward. The service was friendly and welcoming. My only complaint was the temperature inside. It was nearly 100 degrees outside, but the bar felt warm with very little air circulation. It was almost refreshing to step back into the muggy heat after leaving, which probably isn't the feeling you're hoping to give your guests. I'd definitely come back for the drinks and atmosphere, but I'd hope for a cooler temp next time.
