I love this place and they never fail to provide a good meal whether it's from their Mexican side of the menu or the Italian. Their margaritas are to die for and are often on a special. I've noticed the freshness and good quality of the fish in their dishes and am always satisfied with the bean dip and other parts of the appetizer menu. I definitely want to try more items on the menu but I've never taken someone here who didn't love it.

    Margaritas!

Every thing from food, drinks and employees! Best margaritas, the shrimp quesadillas with added spinach Alfredo sauce always!

This is my wife's chicken chimichanga with rice and beans. It was good. If you want it crispy, ask for the sauce on the side.

It's been well over 10 years since I've been here. I used to come often and it was always busy and good. I was getting tired of the same old same old so the wife and I went to eat. She's never been. She's from the Westbank. The crazy thing about this place is that they offer Italian and Mexican food all the time and they do them both incredibly well. We were craving Mexican. We started with chips and salsa. The chips were freshly fried and hot! I had the 3 enchilada plate with rice and beans. I went with one of each chicken , pork and ground beef. The ground beef was awesome. I wished I'd gotten 3 of them. There's a faint hint of cinnamon I've tasted in Mexican cuisine before and it was really good. Then I tried the pork. Wow!! It was better than the beef. I wished I'd gotten 2 pork and 2 beef now. The chicken was just ok. The last 2 were hard acts to follow. The tables are few but well spaced. I'll go Italian next time and be sure to update. Give this place a try , you won't be disappointed.

Have passed this place hundreds of times and finally decided to give it a try. The menu is widespread with Mexican, BBQ, hamburgers and Italian food. My wife decided to try the shrimp tacos and I ordered the fish tacos. Wow! Both of them were excellent. They both came with rice and beans, which were mediocre. That's okay, the tacos made up for it. The service was great and attentive. We will definitely be back.

I thought the place was okay, nothing spectacular. The people I was with really seemed to enjoy it though.

One of the best of its kind restaurant in NOLA. Food is cheap. Everything in the menu is delicious. I go there at least once a week.

A Perfect "Old-School Meets NOLA" Date Night…read more If you are looking for a true "date night" atmosphere where you aren't treated like just another table number, Vincent's Italian Cuisine is a gem. Having grown up eating in New York's Italian stalwarts and traveling through Italy, I'm often skeptical, but Vincent's manages to strike a beautiful balance. It captures that authentic, old school Sicilian vibe without ever feeling tacky, all while maintaining a distinct Southern charm and New Orleans flavor. The Ambiance & Service The ambiance was exactly what we were looking for!! It was intimate, welcoming, and intentional. A huge part of that experience was our waiter, Greg. He was incredibly hospitable and kind, making us feel genuinely cared for throughout the evening. The Food The food quality overall was excellent. We ordered: The Pork Chop: This was the absolute star of the night. I would order this again in a heartbeat. It was perfectly prepared and full of flavor. Crab and Shrimp Linguine: The seafood was fresh and the linguine is clearly homemade. Wine Selection: They have a lovely wine list that paired beautifully with the meal. A Note on Texture & Coffee My only critique for the kitchen would be the pasta texture. As someone who prefers a firm bite, the pasta here leans much softer. While homemade pasta is softer, the penne was a little too soft for my liking. We specifically requested our side of penne be prepared al dente, but it still arrived quite soft. If you are a die hard fan of firm pasta, just be aware of the house style. I did not mind it much once it did come because everything else was perfection. We finished the night with a slice of chocolate cake, which was delicious. However, the coffee was a bit of a letdown. It felt a little watered down and could definitely be stronger to match the richness of the dessert. Final Verdict Despite the softer pasta and the mild coffee, I will absolutely be returning to Vincent's. The hospitality and the quality of the main courses make it a standout. I'm already looking forward to trying more of the menu! The hostess was also a real gem and so warm. THANK YOU!

Our server, Lisa, was also very nice and accommodating. The restaurant's ambiance and scenery was very nice as well. It's much bigger than you think. Ohhhh wait, let me rewind to the appetizers! We ordered fried calamari and their brussel sprouts! The absolute best calamari I've ever had! Seasoned to perfection with a good crunch! That lemon aoli was the truth do you hear me!!!! The brussel sprouts were good too. Now let's get to the star of the show, drum roll the hanger steak with asparagus!!!! Babyyyyyyy, seasoned by my ancestors and melted in my mouth! The grilled asparagus was perfectly cooked, a little crunch but not too wilted! All atop that delectable lemon aioli sauce! Perfect portions too! Reheats well too. The place is pretty nice! Great for any occasion! Go there, you won't be disappointed!

Our server did such a great job explaining each dish as it came out . I really appreciated that because this was our first time here. I had the fennel sausage pizza and it was delicious. It was nice to see that they have gluten free and cauliflower crust options as well. I'm a coffee girl so to top it all off, I had a slice of tiramisu for dessert. It had a happy birthday chocolate on top and was very light and flavorful . This was an awesome dining experience and I'm happy that I decided to give them a try!

i am updating my review to give them 5 stars!…read more Holy heck, what has happened between 2019 and now?! They stepped their Italian game up. Got a new Chef? I dunno! I know they do fun live music every Thursday now. We recently dinned here for the live music and it was so relaxing. Not to mention, this food is on par if not better, then Vincent's. Not to compare necessarily, but generally my standard for great Italian food in the NOLA area is usually Vincents as the baseline. We ordered the aracini and the meatballs and the crab claws as apps! Omg ok, I am not really a fan of aracini, but this, THIS! Ok it is stuffed, and i mean STUFFED, with so much cheese that I felt like I was eating a cheese ball. It was really good and light on the sauce too. I loved those meatballs too, they must mix veal in there because they reminded me of my mothers meatballs. They were so tender and perfect. And so few restaurants offer crab claws anymore and I dont know why?? We leave is South La, there's plenty of crab to make this app. Regardless, this was also amazing and I think this was going to be my favorite, it was my third favorite, number 1 was the aracini. All 3 were fantastic though, don't let me confuse you. Mom got the special which was a soft shell crab with some amazing garlic, butter, heaven sauce. I do not have a picture of the menu to be able to describe what was in the sauce. I did ask the waiter and begged him to tell the chef to keep it on the menu, We ordered the lasagna and the fetuccini with fried veal. I'd say my fav to just ok, it would be that special and the sauce on it and last would be the lasagna. I am so glad to see this place doing so well. I will be back.
