    Sashimi Salad

We found Bluefin Sushi and Ramen because they were. Lose to Costco and we were hungry. I ordered the sashimi salad without escolar and with the dressing on the side. Stuart ordered the sesame chicken dish. He was happy because the chicken was not too sweet. The texture of the broccoli was great because it was blanched. My salad had sinew and bits of bone. I will not order this salad again.

I had lunch for the first time today at. It was delicious! I had the chicken bento box, which is an incredible amount of food. Definitely could be shared! My dining companion ordered a spicy tuna, sushi, roll, and miso soup, both of which she said were delicious. They have a large selection of hot tea, including Japanese green tea. The staff immediately welcomed us upon entering the restaurant and were very friendly and helpful throughout. They made sure our waters were refilled and cleared empty plates quickly. The space is lovely and I definitely would recommend!

Okay sushi, but pretty good ramen! I came for dinner on a Thursday evening. It wasn't really packed so we were seated immediately. They have a few specials - like bogo boba and a free appetizer if you spend $50! The gyoza is pretty good for an appetizer, but it is very small. For my meal, I got the salmon avocado roll and black garlic tonkatsu. The salmon avocado roll had a lot more avocado than salmon. The ramen was super flavorful and filling. Overall - an okay spot for dinner in my opinion

Killer Beef Rib Ramen, Avocado Bomb, Spicy Tuna Crispy Rice, and Agedashi Tofu

Overall: 3.7/5 [takeout] We ordered on Ubereat for takeout. The food was nicely packaged and ready around the estimated time. Killer Beef Rib Ramen With Thick Noodles ($26.40) + Pork Chashu ($4): The creamy pork broth was good, though the bowl and toppings portions were on the smaller side. I loved the thick noodles. The beef rib was a decent size, but after heating it in the microwave for 30 seconds, it became so dry that we couldn't pull the meat off the bone. I'm not sure how that happened, but it was such a shame. On the other hand, the pork chashu were delicious! Spicy Tuna Crispy Rice ($15.40): This was tasty and unique. I had never seen strawberries paired with spicy tuna before, but it's a nice blend of sweet and savory. Avocado Bomb ($9.90): Yum, I love snow crab as it always makes a huge difference compared to imitation crab. Agedashi Tofu ($6.60): Flavorless since you could barely taste the tempura sauce and the tofu weren't crispy, even after air frying it.

Bluefin is owned by Eurasia 2. The owners are Indonesian. They used to own Eurasia in Oak Hill, but they sold it because business declined after the overpass was built. We always loved Eurasia 1. Bluefin is consistently just as good for the price. Happy hour only cost $9 including chicken skewers and a Philadelphia roll. My husband and I both ordered the bento box. Portions were large for $17, including miso soup, edamame, salad, tempura, California roll, egg roll, pot sticker, and chicken teriyaki. There was also no wait to be seated!

Soooooo...I am a frequent flier at La Madaleine, and one day I thought "how many times can I have Tomato Basic Soup ? Then In look to my left and "Blue Fin Sushi! Open till 10:00pm!!! So the inside is beautiful classically decorated with hints of blue and reminders of how classy a beach front property can be. The track lightning adds perfect light for the sake of taking pictures! The tables are well designed as they take us on a break from those terrible square tables that can poke your eye out. The edges are rounded and smooth and the tables are strong with a neat slick black tone to the plates and chairs. The Staff is wonderfully nice, and highly accommodating: The Music is classy, instrumental, eclectic. Perfect come to have a conversation but still drift off when decide to stop listening to your dining bu And Now... The Food! 1.) The Krab Puffs!!!!--- The flavor of the cream cheese is well seasoned, reminds me of an older Austin favorite Sushi Sake. However I note to the chef that they should cut the green onions, as the long stalks of green onion can be off putting 2.) California Roll- perfectly made! 3.) Negihama -Tori- sooo good...however they really need to chop the scallions instead of putting long stalks of it in the sushi. The Scallions take away from the texture and the flavor of the fish. So I highly recommend they consider this. However that being said the fish quality is could be improved. I recommend this place as a late night Ramen snack wet.

Absolutely thrilled that Bluefin opened up in northwest Austin! I was first introduced to Bluefin at their south Austin location but being a north atx girlie, never found myself there often. Look no more than seeing Bluefin and stumbling upon grand opening excitement, hubs and i had to do date night and take advantage of a buy one get one free BOGO offer that evening! We ordered ourselves a glass of wine and Sapporo on tap, both were amazingly priced, our bentos came with miso soup, tempura and our entree of an assortment of foods. So much noms and such great service on their A+ of opening crowds and volume. Can't wait to go back and support them, and abundant parking to boot, what's not to love?!

Lured in my another now open sign... After a heavy workout, I needed nourishment. I stopped by Bluefin Sushi & Ramen later in the evening as they are open until 10 pm. There are total of 8 Bluefin Sushi & Ramen in Texas. Sushi lovers probably already know this, but for those who do not...Bluefin tuna is often considered the best tuna for sushi as a result of its rich, buttery flavor and velvet-like texture, making it a premium sushi choice. I like the interesting concept of combining different food genres within one restaurant. Staff at Bluefin are super friendly and treat you like you're a member of the family. My glass of water kept getting refilled as of I was in a fine dining restaurant. Vina provided outstanding service! I ordered the crunchy crab roll, Brussels sprouts and edamame. All were fresh and tasty. The edamame tasted as if they were picked today with large pods.. The Brussels sprouts were made with balsamic vinegar and garlic...couldn't put my chopsticks down. The crunchy crab roll had the ideal balance of ingredients...yummy. Music was playing in the background creating a groovy vibe. Look forward to returning to try other menu items...

Great meal at Bluefin Sushi & Ramen! Nice interior atmosphere. Nice waitstaff, personable individuals who take their time to not make you feel rushed. We got fried tempura, shishito peppers, sushi roll, ramen soup. Everything was above average and made us happy to eat.

Had an overall great lunch at this spot! I was pleasantly surprised to see this relatively new spot down the street from us especially since we enjoyed their south location back when we lived in that direction. We came here shortly after they open on a Sunday and were immediately greeted warmly and seated at a booth. The interior was very pleasant and cute with its decor and some lo-fi music playing in the background. We were the only ones there at first but not for long as a few other parties trickled in. We ordered the spicy garlic edamame, ramen, and some sushi. Dare I say, the edamame may be some of my favorite in Austin with its nice cook, delicious garlicky flavor, and perfect spice level that's not overwhelming. I got the tonkotsu black which was a great big bowl of a portion - it would definitely be beat out by some other ramens in Austin, but still hit the spot with great overall flavor and a comfort on a cold day. The nigiri and unagi roll were served beautifully with a lovely touch of dry ice to give a cool smoking effect. All the nigiri passed with flying colors and the unagi roll was satisfactorily yummy. We saw that they also had a promotion for buy 2 get 1 free boba and decided to take advantage - the brown sugar milk tea was probably our favorite, with the original having a strong tea flavor reminiscent of coffee and the Thai tea being exactly what you want from a Thai tea. The boba pearls were also decent with an interesting shape but great chew. The service continued to be extremely friendly throughout, with the server being diligent to refill our glass waters without being prompted. All the servers had a warm smile. It may not hit #1 on any sushi/ramen spot list, but definitely meets the mark for a good meal and friendly service.

The service is delightful. Family friendly and quick service. Amazing flavor. We loved their miso soup and the rolls had a great flavor. I'm really surprised how great everything tasted. My toddler was in love with the spicy garlic edamame. Overall, pretty tasty

I went back to Bluefin after the manager complimented my review. My challenge on the last visit was slow service. On this visit, service was great. I was greeted warmly when I entered and immediately offered the choice of table or booth (solo diners are usually offered a table or the bar) and I compliment Bluefin on spacing out the appetizer and main dish timing. This time I ordered the fried roll bento, not the lunch portion. It was a 3-course value with the miso and tempura vegetables preceding the bento. Along with the crab handroll appetizer, it was a great meal and wonderful way to break up the Christmas shopping.

I'm a huge fan of Bluefin so when I saw there was a new resteraunt open in Arbor hills I knew I had to go! We went during their soft opening and got a free apetizer of spicy edamame which was delicious. I love their spicy chicken ramen so I had to get that again and it did not let me down! My friend enjoyed her bento box with chicken teriyaki. We love bluefin because it is very tasty for a super reasonable price for ramen which is getting hard to find in Austin

    Vegan ramen- delicious!

Really enjoyed the Pom mule drink on happy hour. The cucumber refresher was a little too sweet for me. The spinach dumplings and barbacoa dumplings were both great! The way they presented the sauces made it slightly hard to dip your roll in it, but would still order again. My friends loved the transformer roll. Yuka-tekkan was a let down for me, just not very flavorful. Overall, would definitely come back for some rolls and the happy hour! We got one Austin roll ($22), volcano roll ($15), creamy spicy tan tan ramen ($20), teriyaki sesame tofu yakisoba ($20). I have had their sushi and yakisoba but tried their ramen for first time. I was impressed with their packaging. As you can see in picture, veggies and noodles box was on top and soup at bottom. The only thing I didn't like how noodles became very sticky because of how tight they were packed. So I got it as cold (because I live 30 mins away) and sticky. Ramen came with all the veggies like grilled Chinese broccoli, tofu, sweet corn, marinated shiitake mushrooms, red onions and negi. Yakisoba noodles had the Stir-fried noodles tossed with cabbage, scallion, carrot, marinated shiitake mushrooms, and fragrant negi in a savory house sauce. It was good if you like this type of noodles. Austin roll had Smoked tempeh, tempura tofu, jalapeño, pickles. And on the to Avocado, roasted garlic oil, tempura flakes, smoked paprika, teriyaki. Volcano roll was a deep fried roll which had spinach, avocado, sweet potato. On top: spicy mayo, sweet soy sauce, chili sauce, Caviart and tempura onion. I would say this is the best vegetarian sushi place I've found in Austin. So if you're in search, this wouldn't disappoint you.

However, avoid the curry and katsu. My katsu can only be described as overdone. The breading tasted nearly burnt dry and banding in the meat (see my photo) shows how it was separating from being cooked too long. The curry is as disappointing as their sister restaurant. It's weak enough that I'd venture I could produce a better curry in bulk. Their menu also changes between lunch and dinner so it's possible other non sushi options are better.
