Small but quaint place. Went here at lunchtime for celebration. Lunchtime offers deals the bento box at a great price . Staff was accommodating and attentive with a personal young server as a helper. I ordered the crab rangoons as an appetizer and the bento box with pad Thai peanut noodles and chicken , sashimi, dumpling, California rolls ,and edame and came with soup too . It was a good portion so I did take leftovers home. My son ordered tuna appetizer which was quite large and tender and salmon with eggs little much for me I did not taste that. Today I visited Nana-Sushi Thai & I can't wait to come back! The restaurant had such a zen/peaceful vibe, the service was phenomenal, & don't even get me started on how delicious the food was. I ordered one of their specials, the fried curry samosa, as an appetizer. It had SO much flavor, seriously compliments to the chef!! I also got the bento box (chicken pad thai, a dumpling, edamame, 6 pieces of sashimi, & 4 pieces of California roll) plus a small side salad. I got the lunch spicy krab roll with lunch red curry (shrimp) and a soup. Spicy krab roll was good- fresh and the perfect amount for lunch. Miso soup is standard; nothing fancy. The red curry was watery, yes- but the shrimp was cooked to perfection which I feel like is always a miss. Vegetables in the curry were also cooked well, so no complaints here. Goodness! 10x better than when delivered. The shrimp in the Mexican roll is nice and crispy. The cream cheese is less solid and more creamy. The seafood on top of the volcano roll is nice and warm in contrast to the cool California roll underneath. The tempura flakes in the shiitake mushroom roll add a real nice texture and flavor. The spicy edamame had a perfect amount of spice and was nicely portioned. The price is pretty standard to what you would expect for sushi. Not cheap, but certainly not breaking the bank. We've been ordering from Nana for years as we're only down the street from them. Due to Covid, they've changed from being a dine in and delivery to much more a delivery focus. Last night we ordered sushi and a noodle dish from them. It was expensive, but based on the size it wasn't worth it. The quality also isn't what it used to be. Unfortunately, I'm going to look for other places to spend my money. I understand how prices increase, I understand how sizes can get smaller to accommodate. However, when prices go up and sizes go down and quality does not get sustained, it's time for something new. Today I got Thai food only from Nana Sushi Thai. We ordered Pad Woonsen, Panang Curry Chicken, Thai Dumplings, Springs Rolls and a Tempura Shrimp Dinner. Pad Woonsen: This was the highlight for today. It was light in sauce and it brought out the flavor of this noodle which is what I love about this specific dish. So I say this was Excellent for me. Panang Curry: Taste was good, not amazing... but good. My suggestion would be a little more chicken. Regardless it was a good flavor. Tempura Shrimp Dinner: This is the mass bought Shrimp Tempura, however I actually like this type of Shrimp Tempura, because when made from scratch it usually has way too much flakes. I would say this also was on the level of 'good' Thai Dumplings: I like this, although a little small on size, they were fresh and tasted great. Spring Rolls: Dude... it's a Spring Roll. We got an order of tofu curry, $10, and the vegetables were a few pieces of green pepper and that's about it. Pad Thai with fried tofu, $16 (yep SIXTEEN) was small (pics show exactly how measly this $16 portion was), very bland, tasteless old tofu, no crushed peanuts, no lime, nothing, just some oily noodles and a sprinkling of limp sprouts. When we walked in our first impression was that the place isn't big but it feels very cozy. The food was delicious! we started with the sushi pizza and I have to say it was the best we've ever eaten and the Tom Yum soup which was okay but really recommend it as appetizers. We also ordered some sushi rolls and they were mouthwatering, the seafood taste so fresh it melted in our mouths. Our server was very nice and polite and recommended us some of the rolls.
