I was also curious about their skincare products. I let her know some things I have been having issues with my skin, so she did a skin analysis & was able to recommend products my skin actually needed. I must say, I already see such a huge difference in my skin. I have always been so hesitant of buying products from here because of the price. But, now that I will be entering my 30s pretty soon, I think it's time to invest in good skincare products. I will definitely be back in the future to refill my products & invest in a few more items. They stock only vetted, high-end and quality brands that I know I can trust. The design and layout of the store is cute and well-appointed, which appeals to my girlie nature! The prices can be a bit high, however, they put out 20-25% off coupons nearly every weekend if you sign up for their email. They have also been willing to price-match with Amazon as long as it can be proven the brand is vetted "luxury." I don't mind that because there is a *ton* of knock-off beauty products on Amazon--the cheap comes out expensive, my friends! If you're unsure, just ask--they're really friendly about it! My neice happened to work for this famous department store this passed Christmas and wow! First of all let's talk the merchandise..with the exception of some very nice stuff like say Hugo Boss mens coat or...a DKNY bag from the ladies department most everything else in the entire store is no better than ANY of the same clothes you can buy in places like "The Alley" in downtown LA fresh from the newly arrived shipping containers from China and in fact..most of the time are the exact same items. From kitchenware to clothes a large percentage of the items sold at Macy's are not as "special" as advertised and are instead just the same as bought downtoan with the only difference being PRICE! Let me explain further..Macy's will purchase a contaoner full of items like womens dresses or towels and robes or whatever...and they will pay penies on the dollar for these items so, a single dress that cost $1 to say...$5 each for Macy's will hit the floors of the over 500 stores worldwide with a hope to get say..$25 a dress so, they put them on the floor for sale at $75 and then say hang a sign saying they are "On Special" and are "20% or 30% OFF" and THEN...will hang yet ANOTHER tag that says, "Get an additional 5, 10 or 20% OFF with a Macy's Card" so ultimately, you end up paying what they wanted you to and made you feel like you were getting some kind of "deal" and that Macy's is so nice making things so affordabke for people when they are just selling stuff and do not care about anything but bottom line. Now, onto how admin treats staff working there...and don't get me wrong my neice is young and so it doesn't take much to make her feel like life is harder for her than anyone else but, most of what goes on at Macy's is "normal" work attitudes and ethics like "take your breaks" and wear certain presentable clothing but, my neice said that once you are hired you are absolutely HOUNDED by the managers to get people to sign up for a Macy's Credit Card. She said they have little pump-up meetings in the mornings before opening and try to get people to get pumped-up about making sure they try and get every single customer to sign up for a card and then they visit every station and every worker and tell them again individually how important it is and to make sure to do it. She said they offer little cash bonuses of $3 and $10 when getting people to sign up and make it seem like it's a lot of money which my neice is NEVER worth the time or effort. My neice also said that they hire people for the holiday season and put the through a quick training and then send them on to the floors knowing almost nothing about anything and expect them to help people find things in the store or how much something is and don't know what to say. Lastly, my neice said that there exists on the 4th floor of the wpmens building there is a place called Last Chance and it is like an entire floor of Macy's merchandise that is set up like ROSS and is all discounted! She said she doesn't know why Macy's does not list it on their website or advertise for it or ever talk about it and a lot of people she asked said they knew it was there! So..if you do end up at Macy's for something...do yourself a favor and check out that 4th floor and at least pick up some bargaains there!

Now it's my time to get rid of this brand from my skincare line. Twice, LUSH do not accept $100 bills for $30 purchase. For an international company who cannot handle $100 for 30% purchase in cash is mind blowing. We've gone to many local & small business who have no problem having change for $100. even for less than $20 purchase. Also, we used to be able to gain points from a "family" app but now we have to have the app on each our phone to gain points.

Depends on the amount you spend, you will get a gift set with purchase... I believe starting from $75 , $100 and more. Someplace, they will give you just 1 gift set per receipt even though you spent $300-$500. But this place gave me 2-3 gifts (cosmetic bag + petite or sample size items) if I spent $300-$500 in one receipt . Their show case is clean. Because of the Covid, they are carefully give out the sample or let customers try some products. I feel safe to try any sample here lol I will continue to support this location! When I walked in, a Latina associate greeted me kindly, but she went on break shortly after. The only other staff present -- a Latino male associate with glasses -- was unhelpful and dismissive. I asked about semi-permanent dyes and a matching facial cream from the Bliss rose-scented line. His responses were vague: "I think we're out," or "I have no idea," with no effort to check or follow up. Meanwhile, another customer -- a Black woman who appeared lighter-skinned with straight hair -- was offered help without even asking. I was visibly shopping and asking questions, yet I received minimal engagement. The contrast in treatment was disappointing. I submitted a formal complaint, followed up via email, and was told on July 25 that the issue was being escalated to "field management." As of August 5, I've received no update, no resolution, and no goodwill gesture -- despite spending over $200 on that visit. I've had great experiences at Sally Beauty's Irvine location, which makes this store's handling even more frustrating. If this is resolved appropriately, I'll update this review. But right now, I cannot recommend this location based on the lack of accountability.
