I think the bartenders name was Mitch. Great guy. Came in for lunch. I had the pulled pork and two beers. Peppermint stout and peanut butter stout if I remember correctly. Such a hidden gem. Stumbled upon this Brewery/Eatery unexpectedly. It was a great experience. The atmosphere was fun and decor was cool. The beer selection was great. Who new such a small town had their own brews. Everything on the menu was locally sourced. And I loved that. The pulled pork nachos were amazing. I had one of the freshest best salads I've had in a long time. The service was great as well. I highly recommend giving it a try. It was also kid friendly. Came here on Christmas Eve, tried the strawberry cider. Delicious, crisp, and fragrant. The bartender was delightful, and very personable. The brewery itself it clean, modern, and just pleasant to be in. We bought a case of beer to take home, glad we did. Also got a sample of the strawberry soda--excellent!! We live five hours away, so this would be a once in a while trip for us. If you're in the area or don't mind the drive, check this place out. read more

Just had lunch here. Loved the place. Brooke was such a wonderful server checked on us frequently. I had pulled pork and hubby had Bluestone Burger. Both were tasty and more than we expected! Howlin' Pumpkin beer was awesome. I'm always looking for a good pumpkin beer and this was great!!! Be sure to get the sugar and cinnamon rim! We hope to come back again!!! read more

Didn't realize this brewery was right behind the Hampton Inn in Sayer PA. Was directed here from a local At the Rail House(by the way great place too). The beer( I had the Penna) was great, but the burger was awesome. If you are in town or nearby you are doing yourself a disservice if you don't stop here for dinner. read more

Hopped off 86 to come here on a whim and I'm really glad I did. The beer offerings were delicious, they had a sour on tap that was nice and funky, and the sandwich I had was amazing. It was pepperocini pulled beef on a grilled roll, and it was tender, juicy and had just the right amount of heat. Will be taking my wife here when she gets back in town. Highly recommend this gem to anyone passing through on 86, without a doubt. read more

Was visiting this brewery on vacation. I got two beers (raspberry and the peanut nitro) and shrimp tacos. An hour later, the tacos we ordered had not arrived. While the staff was friendly and welcoming to us, we waited a long time for our food. With the understanding that it was packed at that time, our food felt like it was prepared swiftly and did not do justice to what we expected. For example the shrimp and tortilla was not fully cooked. All in all, the place had great customer service and nice people who served us but if you're looking for a good taco maybe go somewhere else. read more

Elevated pub food. We had lunch outside overlooking the green lawn. Note that there are heat lamps that would make sitting outside nice on a brisk day. Had the pork taco special. Good flavors, but the plate looked a bit sparse. The tacos were just pork, mango salsa, cheese with chips on the side- I would have liked to see some shredded cabbage or something to fill out the plate. $10 is pushing it for a 2 taco lunch in this area. Good service. The music is distracting and piped outside, so not a great choice for talking with friends if any have hearing disabilities. They did have a black-bean burger so your vegetarian friends will find at least one choice. read more

This place us such an awesome find in Sayre. Had lunch and ordered the pulled pork nachos which were amazing and the ahi tuna tacos! Do not be afraid to get ahi tune here! So incredibly good. Im not an IPA fan so usually don't find too many beers that I like let alone love but this place had 3-4 nice lighter beers including blueberry blonde !!!!! Ambiance was great and service fantastic. While visiting PA this week, just happened to stay close to this little gem. Great beer and better food. The special was teriyaki beef roll with grilled veggies and rice...just awesome. I tried (a few) the 1537 Imperial IPA which was spot on. I recommending stopping in for a frothy beverage and snack on your way through. read more

So, I was staying at the Hampton Inn Sayre next to Bluestone. My local customer recommended the place, it got good reviews and it was right out of the back door - can't go wrong, right? Unfortunately I did not get to try this place... I stood at the entrance to the dining room for quite a while. Several people saw me standing there (bartender and two of the wait staff) and no one offered a table despite plenty of openings and no one else waiting. I am generally very patient but I think it is ridiculous to have to flag someone down for a seat. Just my opinion but there are plenty of other great places nearby that appreciate patronage from business travelers. read more

Anyway, shame on Yelp because this is probably the best place in town! 1 year old, a friendly local vibe, nice outdoor dining area, Microbrewery and an amZing Bologna sandwich (sounds gross but is actually insanely tasty)!! I stumbled upon this jewel by chance but if you're in the area, it's a must visit. There's been an explosion of microbreweries in the past decade and frankly, most of them suck. You can find some right down the road in Owego and Binghamton. Bluestone is what a microbrewery should be. Excellent malt/hop balance, great body and mouthfeel with a decent head. They have a good variety and all are exceptional, drinkable beers. Their high gravity beers are just as refined and polished as their session brews. All housed in an attractive building that marries production with a very pleasing tasting room. I never expect good food at a microbrewery but Bluestone has put just as much thought and attention to the food they offer. It's not fine dining (nor should it be) but they have exceptional bar fare! Try any of the burgers, they're exceptionally good. Highly recommended! read more

Absolutely love this. Moved here 3 years ago and of all the local restaurants, this is my favorite. Simple and good. I really enjoy the specials. Sometimes they offer a steak which is mouthwatering. Hidden gem of a stop. Four of us stopped here for a quick beer. We were greeted by very friendly staff... Our sever Dave was very attentive. We both did a beer flight so that we could sample 5 of their selections. The server was very informative. We decided to stay and have a few appetizers - the pretzels and cheese were a home run. Stopped in on a road trip and were very pleased. Convenient location, heated outdoor seating, rustic atmosphere. Sat at the bar for our meal for better social distancing and the bartender was awesome. Had the Big 'Mac Daddy' angus burger which was great, and the beer braised beef tacos, also great. Sampled a flight of their beers which were impressive, left with a 4 pack of their Penna Pale Ale and Foxtail IPA. Their Vanilla Porter was also really good but not available in cans right now. My better half had an Antler Ridge Vidal which she enjoyed. Overall very good service, food and beer, well worth a visit. read more

I was in town for work and fell upon this place. I stopped in for a late lunch. This place was nice and open inside. I sat at the bar and ordered a pineapple mango beer, I think it was a wheat ale. The one beer that I had was great. Can't wait to come back and try more. I had a salad with shrimp for lunch which was also super tasty and portion size was large.
