Stopped in to get the princess peach bourdon iced latte and wow! This place just gets better and better each time! Everyone is amazing! The vibes are nice! The space is cute and like leaves you wanting to come back

Very cute and friendly shop. Coffee was perfectly strong and flavored. Chai vanilla latte had a unique and potent aroma and taste. Would 100% recommend and will be returning myself to try the new monthly flavored coffees.

Super super cute coffee shop that allows dogs inside. Cinnamon roll was great with what seemed to be cream cheese style icing (yum). Staff was very friendly.

I have to preface this by saying it's still a very new spot and people are just excited to be there. As a result, the line was long and so was the wait time. The space is cramped but I can see the vibe being really good once the hype has died down. I got one of their sandwiches and I really enjoyed the flavor profile! It was a good blend of umami, savory, and bite! I want to return and sit inside.

I was definitely excited to try! The special drink right now was a black raspberry latte with tahini cold foam and sprinkles. I was a little disappointed to not be able to get regular cold foam instead of the tahini but still gave it a try - nice they had a special drink with a donation to a cause. I liked the raspberry flavor, but I'm just not a fan of tahini. I think the shop was decorated very cute. Service was good and pretty efficient.

I've loved Bloomsday forever so this sister spot right next door is a welcome addition to the Headhouse rotation. The space is bright and beautiful, but you can't beat the outdoor seating on a nice day. 5 stars for the pastries and beverages, but I would not return for the egg sandwich. Egg "patty" left a lot to be desired and this thing is really tricky to eat. The pastries tho...WOW. Incredible sea salt chocolate chip cookie and I love their take on the cosmic brownie. They do often sell out so going early if there's something specific you're looking for is advisable. On the pricier side but worth it for the quality. I'll be back when I am in the neighborhood!

Their pastries are to die for! The cinnamon roll and white chocolate pistachio danish were absolutely phenomenal - its been a few weeks but I still think about them. I live super close to them and worried it might be a little too dangerous for my health lol. Super popular and they sell out their most famous pastries quickly - better to go as early as possible. The pastry line moves quickly but I have seen people waiting for the drinks for quite a while so I don't intend to try their lattes during crowded hours. Their outside area is very pretty and would love to sit and enjoy the pastries when the weather is nice.

I have always previously have only gotten pastries and coffee. Today I tried one of their sandwiches. I got the Gloria. It was so delicious. I think I have a new obsession.

super cute quirky little coffee shop right next to headhouse square! it's easy to spot the distinct blue and red exterior from down the street, and it's just as cute inside as out! the cafe is pretty small, limited seating, but turnover is fairly fast. my friend and i were able to grab a table without much issue. i ordered the steel magnolia specialty drink as well as the ethel sandwich. i really loved the steel magnolia, it tastes just as good as it looks! the earl grey lavendar syrup was unique and delicious, and the salted honey whip was light and added a touch of sweetness. this might be one of my new favorite coffees in philly, i hope it sticks around even after women's history month is over. the ethel sandwich was a little pricey for it was, but satisfying and tasty. overall, had a great experience. staff were friendly, and the drink was stellar!

Loretta's is perfect for a cold, rainy day. It's a cute little cafe with a few tables (first come, first serve). I tried their Mocha latte, which wasn't overly sweet and warmed us up as we headed to Headhouse Market. We tried their Ham and Cheese croissant and Cheese & Greens hand pie. Both were delicious, but the cheese & greens was our favorite! The staff was super nice and welcoming. Will definitely come back next time we're in the neighborhood.

The salted maple latte is to die for!! I went two days in a row when I was in town because it was that good. Their pastry variety also looked fantastic, the fluffernutter was super unique and delicious. We also tried the cherry pop tart and the beef stew turnover and both were great as well. It's super cute inside but seating is limited.

Just updating to say that Loretta's remains a favorite. I've been back many times, and they never disappoint.

Such a cute little coffee shop! Great pastries and coffee! Small amount of seating indoors and a few tables outdoors as well. Fairly priced, I felt it was good value for all that we ordered.

Great pastries, below-average drinks. Unfortunately, the baristas' casual antisemitism soured the experience entirely.

Frida's in Old City Philadelphia -- Restaurant Pros…read moreFrida's is a wonderful little find in Old City Philadelphia. The location is excellent--just a couple of blocks from Independence Hall, making it a perfect place to stop for breakfast, brunch, coffee, or something freshly baked while exploring the historic area. Everything we ordered was freshly made, delicious, and served with care. We tried the Quiche Lorraine, which had an exceptionally flaky, buttery crust and was served with a small fresh salad. The dressing was excellent too. We also tried the baker's basket, including the croissants and scones. They had a slightly different recipe and flavor than we were accustomed to, but they were absolutely delicious and clearly made with care. The homemade jam was another standout--it was so good that I would recommend taking some home if you have the opportunity. The American omelet was also freshly prepared and brought to the table hot. We also enjoyed a freshly made cappuccino and black coffee. My son ordered the chorizo, and he said it was the best chorizo he has ever tasted anywhere. It was truly delicious! The customer service was excellent. The waitstaff were friendly, attentive, and helpful without being intrusive. Frida's has a charming, cozy, boutique-like atmosphere that combines a restaurant, coffee shop, and bakery. Pricing was average, about $20-30 per person. Cons: Honestly, we couldn't find any! However, the restroom could have been cleaner I highly recommend Frida's to anyone visiting Old City Philadelphia. The freshness and quality of the food really stood out, and you can tell that the baked goods and other dishes are prepared with care. It's a charming place in a fantastic location, and definitely worth a visit while exploring Philadelphia's historic district.

This place was cute…read more Service started off great then just dropped. Some of the staff was more focused on their phones... They pretty much all smiled but my server she was a bit slower to check on me or come back around... Had to wait a while to ask for the chec too ... Ordered their egg white omelette. This was pretty good. Needs a bit more punch of flavor though. Got the breakfast potatoes too. Some were hard as a rock while others had a nice crispy outside and soft inside. It was seasoned well. Id actually get that again. The Bangkok tea was yummy. I sadly got the fruit cup..the fruit seemed like it was cut a day or 2 ago. The multi grain toast was cut just a bit tooooooo thick. The butter wasn't anything great. Came with this watery jam too. I ordered their chocolate espresso cake for dinner tonight. Just hope that is good. Decent spot if you're in the area. There are much better places near by too though.
