The menu is currently limited, but promising. I tried the giant shrimp noodle, and it was packed with flavor--delicious enough that I'm already thinking about coming back. They also offer beef cube fried rice and a few a la carte options. Service is quick and efficient, and the food comes out fast with generous portions at reasonable prices. Blurr is still a great and inexpensive option for food. I can't believe that even after the pandemic and rising food costs, their banh mi and fries combo only increased by $1. The pork banh mi is always delicious as is the fries. The fries however do taste different every time. Today, the sauce was a bit too overpowering, but when it's just right and fried so it's crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, it's the best fries ever. WHY IS EVERYTHING HERE SO SALTY? I think if they calmed down on how much msg/sodium chloride they use to prep food, it would be very much appreciated. I remember when they first open, the food was not this salty. But the last few times, I can't finish my food because of how salty it is! Drove to this place during my lunch break specifically for their banh mi combo. When I got there, I was told they no longer do banh mi or meal plates and only offer 3 types of burger and some random food items. Got the prawns and garlic noodles because they looked decent from the pictures; also got a Vietnamese coffee (total $25). While waiting for food, 2 other guys came in and were surprised the menu has changed significantly. Took around 5-10 mins for the food to be ready, and I grabbed it and ran back to the office. Blurr Kitchen is located in a small shopping center in Santa Clara. I showed up about 15 minutes before closing, so parking wasn't an issue. I could see how it could be a problem during peak times. The food was plentiful. Even with all the food being on a warming tray, it seemed fresh. We got a few combo plates for takeout and the portion size was humongous. The pastrami & dijon went really well with the beef patty. My buddy ordered the crab & cheese fries, those were pretty good as well. I will definitely be back, also didnt take pics of the food... Today was my first time coming here in about 3 years. My go to was always the garlic noodles and string beans and protein. I've always loved their special spicy orange sauce. I came here on a Friday and it was empty. I ordered the box and it was $16 plus tax for almost $18. tiny box too. Was it worth almost $18? no.... when this first opened it was affordable for me to come here more frequently but for nearly $18 I would expect larger portions. I know inflation has gotten crazy, but let's just say I won't be back. I may as well go to Panda Express where I could get more portions + it's cheaper. I really wanted to love it here again but I was in too much sticker shock of the high prices to be able to enjoy my food. Ordered online for pickup. Plenty of parking in the plaza. Food was fresh / hot. I got the Roasted Spiced Pork Banh Mi and it was delicious! They did not skimp on the ingredients. Everything went well together and was seasoned properly. Adding the eggs was worth it. Would advise being careful though as the yolk can get a little messy when you pop it. I wasn't sure what I was craving for so I looked around the area I was planning to be in on maps. That's when I stumbled across Blurr Kitchen. One look at their Yelp pictures and I was sold. I ordered in person and wanted to try everything. I ended up getting 2 of their plates with garlic beef, pork, garlic noodles, string beans, and brussel sprouts. I also ordered their Fresh Summer Roll, Roasted Spiced Pork Banh Mi (came with fries which I upgraded to garlic fries), and their Crispy Shrimp and Pork Spring Rolls. I was so blown away by how delicious everything tasted. Since each dish was made in small batches, it was all super fresh and smelled delicious the entire time I was waiting. The rolls and banh mi were made to order, so I had to wait a little longer before receiving them but it was totally worth it. They also paired my meal with various sauces, so I couldn't help but dip everything and sample them all. I loved that the garlic dishes were too overwhelmingly garlic-y, but just right. The fries made it back on my drive home without being soggy and stayed perfectly crisp. I loved the summer rolls and the crispy rolls as well because they did not skimp on the ingredients. I highly recommend checking them out if you are in the mood for some tasty Vietnamese fusion cuisine. Chicken wings were $9 for 5 and I wouldn't get them again because I thought they were a little overdone and hard to get off the bone. In my meal plan box, I got the fried rice, the fish, and the eggplant. I'm used to fast food eggplant being doused in yummy, greasy brown sauce, so I was nervous that this one looked very pale. But the fish and the eggplant were both DELICIOUSLY packed with flavor without feeling greasy. I'm a fan! Portion size was about perfect for lunch for me. I was excited to try Blurr Kitchen when I saw it suggested on my Yelp, but ended up being extremely underwhelmed. From the pictures I anticipated big flavors of Vietnamese cuisine, but was met with subpar noodles, wings, rice, and vegetables. While I'll admit that I didn't order a banh mi and they could be the star of the show here, the meal plans (weird name) just didn't meet my standards or expectations. The garlic beef was a little dry and not anything special, the braised pork spareribs didn't have very much meat, the rice was nothing special, and the garlic noodles were heavy with oil. The place itself feels very much like a Vietnamese Panda Express, which isn't the worst thing in the world, but definitely wasn't what I was expecting. This spot was just average for me and I really wanted to like it. The jalapeño beef was essentially flavored like beef and broccoli, without the broccoli. Very oyster saucy and no spice despite a few shriveled jalapeños. Beef was super chewy as well. Green beans were fine, but cold. Customer service could have been better- the woman helping me wasn't sure about a few ingredients in a few dishes, and was very short. Props for having cauliflower rice for the low carb crowd. I had the wings a while back and I remember them being pretty good but I haven't tried any of the banh mi here. I usually grab a meal plan here which is a combo box consisting of 1 base, 1 veggie side and 1 protein. My favorite combo is the beef and eggplant with garlic noodles. I think those are the best items from each category here. Their fried rice is just average. The fish is also good but was recently way too salty, and had to be taken home to be diluted with some plain steamed rice. Be warned that the food is a little greasy (especially the eggplant but maybe that's why it's so good??) so it's not exactly a healthy meal plan. read more

Garlic is roasted, not pungent in anyway. If you love Garlic - this is your dish!!! My hubby didn't even want to talk to me! Ha! Need a break from your significant other? Good way to keep the social distancing at home too! For my second box Togo, I got the garlic noodles, brussel sprouts and I asked to split the curry chicken and the coconut chicken for my boys. (Curry has a hint of a kick but not so bad). My boys love Brussel sprouts so that was an easy pick! The service was pretty nice and accommodating. They will happily split any portion for you (same serving size/just smaller portions to allow you to try different dishes). Prices are fairly reasonable. They also have specials that change.
